We are from Atlanta. Dutch was recommended by friends. We were not disappointed. It was Saturday night so noisy (we had a table in the bar area) and we felt like we were being rushed. But over all very good.
The hot fried chicken was dry. No special flavor.
The Korean steak was cooked to rare not medium rare.
I would not revisit this restaurant.
They wouldn’t sub Canadian ham for avocado even though there were so few veg options
Chicken was dry, trout was bland. Sauces clearly came from a bottle. We paid over $300 for 2 starters and 5 mains and we only had water to drink. Plates were covered with food and looked messy. Really overpriced.
Great food! Always find the Dutch to be a place to go. You can count on this place to have good food and great drinks! If they have a chef tasting do it!
We had the price fixe dinner for Valentine’s Day ❤️
The ambiance was warm Village vibe. Everything was superior from food to wine pairings.
The service prompt and unobtrusive.
Our server Guy was knowledgeable and the entire staff courteous and professional.
Arrogant and distant service. Not as good or as creative a menu as it was a couple of years ago. Nicely done but just that.
The food was good and the service was enthusiastic. But our table was in a thoroughfare, and it was incredibly loud. So loud we had to shout to hear each other.
The fried chicken was very bland and the biscuit was cold and not good either. The waitress was also not friendly and seemed annoyed when we told her we were still looking over the menu. At the end of our lunch, we were getting ready to leave but the manager came by and rudely asked if we wanted anything else... There are better ways to go about asking someone to leave so that they could have the table but there were still empty tables! I've heard good things about this place and was excited to try it but I won't be back. $40 later, I was still hungry
Waiter was not nice and the food arrived to our table 50 mins after we ordered but it was good as always so I hope I’ll come back and have a better service experience.
Did not like the menu at all
Fun atmosphere; good selection; great oysters; great location.
The Dutch never fails to provide delicious food. A little crowded at a table in the middle. Go for the booths, or along the wall. The had burbon ice cream. One of the few places to carry it )made in house)m but not this visit.
Was backed up/discombobulated at the hostess stand. Long wait from our booking time and couldn’t get a straight answer. Table miraculously became available as we were about to go elsewhere. Solid food. Strong sommelier- likable, articulate, knowledge
The Dutch never disappoints - great food, wonderful service, fantastic all around!
Solid, unpretentious and approachable food. Lively atmosphere but easy enough to have a conversation.
Everything was delicious and as described ........only complaint was we felt rushed out at the end of the meal. The check was brought when the coffee was ordered and at least three people came over to see if we were ready to pay! Coffee not even sipped.
We went to the Dutch for Restaurant Week. The food was very good, portions were good size. We ordered some additional oysters ala carte, all four varieties with delicious. The menu would probably be two times the prize if it wasn't for the $29 Restaurant Week special. The waitress did a great job and so did her assistants .I would definitely repeat.
Oysters were very fresh and delicious .
Great restaurant week deal !
A bit loud but overall everyone left satisfied and happy
Love the Dutch! Came here for my girlfriend's birthday and they took care of us from start to finish. Ambiance is great, music volume was perfect (we were actually able to talk rather than yell), the staff was attentive without being pushy, and the food was amazing (try the hot fried chicken). Highly recommended!
The food was extremely delicious, but our service was extremely odd...the waitress was very awkward and also forgot to bring some items that we had ordered. I also had to call to get a reservation at 7pm because the only times showing available on Open Table were 6:15pm and 8pm. When I called, the hostess initially said that 7pm was not available and then quickly changed her mind and said it was--it was especially weird that when we arrived at 7, the majority of the tables were empty, so I wasn't sure why it was so difficult in the first place. Overall, excellent food, average waitstaff/hosts.
My wife and I had lunch during Restaurant Week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambiance and service were outstanding but paled in comparison to the quality of the meal. We'll be back.
It was great! Service and ambiance phenomenal! Rated the food four stars only because they were out of several items we had ordered from the menu.
All else was great!!
It was awesome
The food was tasty but the wait staff needs a little more experience in some areas. Our waiter looked a little like a deer caught in the headlights and the busing staff took away the olives for my Bloody Mary once and tried to take them a second time (even though they had had to replace them the first), even though my glass was 3/4 full. And they put a 6-inch steak knife down in front of my 7 year old. Granted it was prime time Sunday brunch but by now they should know the drill. On the flip side, they did bring ice cream with a sparkler for my son’s birthday without our even ordering dessert, so points for that.
The food was astounding, the best brunch I’ve had in a while!
Wait for a reserved table was 45 minutes. No apology. They could ha e offered drinks or dessert on the house. However, the food was very good.
