The Dutch has been doing a tremendous job with COVID efforts. I felt very comfortable while still enjoying a great meal
Food and atmosphere are great. The waiter charged us $19 for a side of bacon!! that's almost another burger and we were never told the charge for the extra topping would be so high. Kind of killed the experience to be honest.
One of my favorite restaurants! Always a wonderful experience.
While the waitstaff was very friendly, it took an inordinate amount of time to order a cocktail. We were seated at the bar and the heating system was blowing directly on us, but once we brought this to the attention of the manager he quickly rectified the situation.
Overall the experience was good. Food was delicious.
The Dutch is amazing for so many reasons, the food, atmosphere, and most Importantly the team that works there.
Everyone is always so kind and you can tell they love their jobs!
Great! Love the place and staff
Food was delicious & the outdoor dining was beautiful & very well thought out.
Wonderful outdoor setup
lovely pivot to outdoor dining..service was better than usual. swift and with a smile. made a reservation, table was ready right on time. perfect.
Whether in NY or Miam Beach the Dutch always delivers! Beautiful night on the patio under the string lights. T-Bone was perfectly medium-rare and charred just right. The recommended Pork was tangy & tasty. Server on point. Mmmm. We’ll be back.
We visited The Dutch for our second anniversary dinner knowing it would be great food without completely blowing the bank. When we saw the rain coming down we were somewhat concerned given we are in covid times and therefore we would be dining outside. They have built a lovely wooden structure with flooring so you are above the city streets and shielded from the rain. All of the welcoming staff was robed with plastic ponchos and continued to provide excellent service throughout the meal. The food as always was excellent. We had oysters, eggplant dip, crispy shrimp salad, and hangar steak subbed with fries. The Oaxacan Sunset cocktail was sensational! Absolutely recommended!
Loved the shrimp salad. Hanger steak meal was good but a smaller portion than expected.
Anniversary date with husband. Great food service and environment.
The food was so fresh and delicious. The Dutch has built an outdoor area so that you can dine with them while still feeling secluded from the busy streets of NYC. We had a dozen oysters, the burrata with fried tomatoes, and then had a linguine pasta dish and the fried chicken & honey biscuits. Every single dish was incredible. Will definitely be going back soon!
Sat on the corner so it was a little noisy, a little pricey for what you get and they should have heaters for cool nights but overall a good experience.
This was the first bad experience I have ever had at this restaurant. I have probably eaten there about 50 times. I know we are all dealing with covid. Hoping the restaurant can make adjustments. For a 745pm reservation we got seated at 8:12. It then took 25 mins to get a drink. So all in all, that is almost an hour for a drink. Other than that, everything was good. Just hoping with all the new normals in place, the Dutch can make adjustments.
Great menu and fun setting
awesome, just the four tops were not equal to the task of dinner for 4 with a great pinot from OR
blowfish out of this world
fried chicken can’t be beat
squash side dish revelatory
tbone like butter, get it medium rate
and end with the sorbets. love the apple cider
thanks for a great evening out
the donut tree was amazing. they brought out a sparkler for my mom's birthday. The food was all amazing. We had a great time.
The Chicken and Biscuits with Hot Sauce are a must have at Brunch!
great food, the staff is not trained well, we were interrupted more than once while dining, as our plates were lifted from the table and we were still eating. the background music is too low, forcing a lack of intimacy from other conversations
Fabulous service; prompt; gracious
High end on the beverages
High end on the entrees
Enjoyable weeknight social atmosphere
Just awesome!!! Food, service, ambiance!
We arrived for a late lunch so it was not busy. Greeted by a very nice french lady and we were seated promptly. Excellent service and comfort style food. Had the beef tartare and a smoked turkey sandwich, both very good.
Not up to it’s usual standard. We waited for our booked table then the service was slow. The wine prices still astonish me, but the food was as good as ever.
good for groups. ambiance was great. no one was blown away by the food but it was good
The fried chicken is money!
Fantastic food, awesome atmosphere, great service.
Very solid dishes. Well composed and very flavorful.
We are from the south, so i guess we expected “southern fried chicken”. The fried chicken batter was phenomenal, the chicken tasted as though it was cooked in a smoky bone broth, but with the sides, which consisted of savory honey butter biscuits and an amazing sweet vinegar slaw, it all complemented the dish so well. The Dutch serves their original hot sauce at the table, and it was probably the best I’ve ever tasted! To simplify, eat the chicken with the sides and sauce and it will be the most satisfying meal to fulfill your belly.
Always a pleasure. The staff treat me as if I’m a well-liked family member—It’s always like coming home. Food was phenomenal as per usual and the viognier from the by-the-glass menu was excellent. This place is an all-time favorite for me, whether it is a night out with my wife, friends, or business associates. The Dutch has never failed me.
First time and it was good! Goat tostadas were amazing and the butterscotch pudding was the best dessert I ever had! The hot pot entree was ok, not as good as I was hoping. We will definitely be back! Next time I’m getting the fried chicken!!
Remarkably and shockingly overpriced for what it was.
Favorite restaurant in soho. Everything is delicious! Service is great.
One of the best places to eat in New York City.
Fried Chicken is out of this world.
And for a GF option get the TBone steak.
The seafood tower and raw seafood is outstanding here.
Ask for Gary or Ruben to make you a Chocolate martini - some very good craft cocktail going on here.
Went for Brunch. Fantastic Bloody Mary, food was ok. A bit loud.
Tables are very close together so it’s a bit tough getting seated without running into your neighbors. That being said - it’s awesome! Put it on your list for next time you are in SoHo
I had dinner here years ago and thought it was good. Lunch the other day was pretty terrible. I took my friend for a birthday lunch. The service was very nice, no problem there. The only thing good were the brussels sprouts. The salad was boring including terrible, tasteless chicken. The hanger steak came out practically raw instead of medium and was very chewy. There were other negatives about the food but I already reviewed the details on another link they sent to review them for themselves. Anyway, I won't return.
Amazing. Food and drink were great and atmosphere even better. Will definitely go again.
Service was terrible both at the bar and at the table - the place is slipping
