The staff was polite courteous and very helpful. Will definitely be back.
Great service with a 3 year old! Eggplant dip still delicious all these years. Recc the Donut Tree with a group to share.
Best food and service ever!! Totally loved it. They paid attention to details and made our night unforgettable!! I got the reservation for my husbands birthday and they were super friendly and tentative to us!
It was a great atmosphere for a bday celebration!
WE WERE GREETED BY THE MAITRE D' WITH GREAT ENTHUASIUM. SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD. BOTH OF US LOVED THE WINE SUGGESTED BY THE SERVER AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT. ALSO THE RASBERRY MINT SORBET WAS THE BEST I EVER HAD.
It was lovely to have a relatively quiet lunch at this restaurant, which serves great food but is often overrun with trendsters and out-of-towners in the evenings. The food was well-prepared, with decent portions. Friendly servers and staff. I even observed a staffer polishing spots off a wine glass before setting it down on the table. A little pricey, though.
Had lunch on Monday afternoon—good beef tartar and service. Cute decor
Have already recommended The Dutch to friends. Great imaginative food, charming service
The food at The Dutch was delicious as usual. This was my 5+ time dining. With that said, they have made some changes recently. Their prices have absolutely increased by $10+ per entree and the avg entree is ~$45 and an app is $20. While the food is good, the prices are outrageous and I would for the same prices, I would rather go somewhere else with better service and management.
It was overpriced for the food and service. Plus our table was an odd shape which made it hard to talk with one another. Our waitress was not friendly or smiling and she didn’t help make suggestions for our 2 kids. The food was really expensive, and while good, was no better than thousands of other places.
I hate to admit it, as the Dutch has always been one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood, but I could not be more disappointed in all aspects of my last visit. I was with two clients and did not want to make an issue about the inedible food that was served, especially at sharply increased prices of $35 to $45 per entree. The salmon I ordered was cooked well+ and was barely edible, the Iberico pork entrees that they received were also way over cooked and the French fries were cold and soggy. You guys can do better.
We went on a Saturday Brunch to celebrate a birthday. We weren’t able to sit in our table until the whole party arrived, which is understandable but also annoying considering we were a large party and we were only missing one person.
The food was delicious and the service was good.
Definitely recommend as long as you go with punctual friends.
Always good. Great location and atmosphere!
I heard someone had an allergic reaction after telling the waiter they a party was allergic to nuts and then the restaurant made that party pay for the meal even though one of them had to go to the hospital. Will not go back
The food continues to be superb here. The lamb dish alone is worth the trip. Not a place for quiet conversation- it’s rather loud in the restaurant. Great service.
A very good meal, but a bit overpriced.
Had a fabulous lunch here catching up with friends. We were not rushed, wait staff was accommodating to questions about menu items. Restaurant Week menu was vegetarian friendly. Have walked by The Dutch many times and am sorry it took this long to enjoy!
Very delicious oysters
Birthday!! I got a candle lit on the cake!
Wonderful food and service! Loved the ribs! The T-bone was excellent and like butter. The squash blossoms and fried green tomatoes were also a hit, as was the fried chicken!
Went there for my friends birthday during restaurant week! They gave us a wonderful table and took excellent care. The food was beautifully presented and was overall delicious. They our dining experience great!
Fantastic food, compliments to the chef - big but - hugely overpriced for the setting, service and atmosphere.
Great experience, good food, fab location. Always good.
Food was disappointing. The schnitzel was terrible.
Understanding that we hit one of the hottest weekends of the summer, it was really hot in the restaurant. Again, take that for what it's worth considering the red-breaking temps. Thanks for a great brunch. We just love The Dutch and all of it's guilty pleasures!
Great experience. The food was good. The service was excellent. I've already recommended to several friends
I went for brunch and felt like their brunch menu was pretty limited and the portions were odd. One person got a sandwich with potatoes which was a lot of food. I got the green tomatoes and buratta which was slim and another person got the deconstructed eggs benidict which was small. Their dinner is awesome for value and portions but brunch needs some work. We also went when it was very hot out (107) and they must have not had the AC on because it was very warm which made for not a great ambience.
I always enjoy the Dutch! Good food. Good service. A reliable choice! Thank you!
Had very picky people in from the left coast. I dread having to pick a place to dine because I'll hear how much better the restaurants in SF are. Luckily, the Dutch was a wise choice. Superb all American wine list, fried chicken justifiably famous. My friends commented on how cheap the prices are (!)
The woman’s restroom was somewhat messy. There were a lot of crumbs in the bench seat at our table that we ended up brushing into the floor - clearly not cleaned from the previous diners. Service very friendly but we had to wait at times. Food delicious. We’d definitely come back.
Great food. Little too noisy. Only US Wine. Would go back certainly now that I know all of this.
Excellent - we had the T-bone steak for 2 and loved it!
I love the new summer menu and cocktails. This is my go to spot anytime I want great food and service. The squash blossoms and summer salad were fantastic!
It may not be fair to judge on a holiday item but the corn dog was a 4th of July fail. In thinking an artisan sausage would be better than a traditional hot dog, but the tough casing made it hard to bite into, and the cornbread on the outside should be fluffy, but this was flat and sad. Fries were limp but ok. Fun place, I bet the normal menu is better. (Minnesota native, fair goer, corndog expert.)
Great food and atmosphere. Will be back
Service is consistently great. Really nice vibe. Great location. Unfortunately, the food really fell short. Candidly, it's been hit or miss on the food for sometime now. Bummer...because I really enjoy everything else about the restaurant.
Small portions for big prices. My waffle had nothing extra and was $16.
This is my third visit. I have loved it all three times. Great food, great ambience, great staff.
Solid food excellent service. Menu was short in choices.
