Staff were amazing - friendly & efficient. Oysters were absolutely out-of-this-world delicious!!
We love The Dutch!
We had brunch on a Saturday and everything was great. I had the poached eggs which were amazing, although I felt like it was not a lot of food. My friends both got the breakfast sandwich which looked like a much larger portion - both said that their meals were great.
Also - It was birthday and our waiter brought us an amazing little treat with a sparkler sticking in it! So fun, and they took my picture on a polaroid camera and gave it to me as a souvenir.
TERRIBLE service. Will not be returning.
Great service! Love Zach!!
Great food. Try the fried chicken, hanger steak, lamb chops and steak tartar.
Place and ambiance are nice but food is just disgusting. Food lovers, just run away
Been in this neighborhood for many years, and only just now got the courage to try this spot out. I took a friend who was in town from the west coast, and I knew I wanted to take her to a nice spot. She loves oysters, so I immediately thought of The Dutch (despite never having been there myself) and booked a table. I'm very glad I did! We got oysters and the alaskan crab to start, split a bottle of bubbly, and were in such a good state of mind we continued onto the fried chicken, all tasty and large enough portions that you'd be reasonably content with half of what we'd ordered. Will definitely return!
For such a small room the service is way too slow. And it’s unreasonably loud with no effort to quiet loud tables. It’s not a bar, respond accordingly.
We brought our 2 year old with us and the hostesses and waiter were over accommodating which was so nice and made it a wonderful brunch.
The service was terrible. The waiter was incredibly unfriendly, the space was too noisy and the food was mediocre. I'd been to The Dutch a few times over the past couple of years and always loved it. But last night was a different story. Our table (which I booked in advance through Open Table) was in the bar area, not the restaurant. It was noisy and nearly impossible to hear one another. The waiter was rude and tried to rush us out - to the point we all were laughing about the sheer audacity he had to treat guests so poorly). The entrees came out cold. It was very disappointing. The Dutch went from a favorite of mine to one I would not recommend to anyone.
This is an aggressively mediocre restaurant. The vibe is fun and lively, but the food is bland and extremely overpriced for what it is. Good for champagne and oysters at the bar. Not much else.
They were very accommodating and attentive to our needs! Food was good, service was excellent and the overall ambience of the restaurant was uplifting for a rainy Sunday brunch! This restaurant is really great for big groups.
First rate cozy and delicious brunch!
The restaurant was so loud and the tables are so close together that my friend and I didn’t talk at all. The fact that the food was good is the only reason why we stayed.
Service was excellent! Very pretty back room, great food!
I was visiting from out of town & took my daughter and cousin for an early lunch. The atmosphere was warm & also felt special. We had a quaint corner table nestled between the windows facing the street corner. We ordered an amazing lobster tail to share for an appetizer that was both delicious & refreshing. Our salads were great as well the chocolate mint dessert. The staff was attentive, friendly and also informative.
My sister and I get together every couple of weeks at the Dutch. Where else? It's our place where we dare not go with anyone else or break the spell. It has become a tradition and we love every minute of it.
We are from Atlanta. Dutch was recommended by friends. We were not disappointed. It was Saturday night so noisy (we had a table in the bar area) and we felt like we were being rushed. But over all very good.
The hot fried chicken was dry. No special flavor.
The Korean steak was cooked to rare not medium rare.
I would not revisit this restaurant.
They wouldn’t sub Canadian ham for avocado even though there were so few veg options
Chicken was dry, trout was bland. Sauces clearly came from a bottle. We paid over $300 for 2 starters and 5 mains and we only had water to drink. Plates were covered with food and looked messy. Really overpriced.
Great food! Always find the Dutch to be a place to go. You can count on this place to have good food and great drinks! If they have a chef tasting do it!
Fried chicken is amazing, cocktails are excellent too
We had the price fixe dinner for Valentine’s Day ❤️
The ambiance was warm Village vibe. Everything was superior from food to wine pairings.
The service prompt and unobtrusive.
Our server Guy was knowledgeable and the entire staff courteous and professional.
Arrogant and distant service. Not as good or as creative a menu as it was a couple of years ago. Nicely done but just that.
The food was good and the service was enthusiastic. But our table was in a thoroughfare, and it was incredibly loud. So loud we had to shout to hear each other.
The fried chicken was very bland and the biscuit was cold and not good either. The waitress was also not friendly and seemed annoyed when we told her we were still looking over the menu. At the end of our lunch, we were getting ready to leave but the manager came by and rudely asked if we wanted anything else... There are better ways to go about asking someone to leave so that they could have the table but there were still empty tables! I've heard good things about this place and was excited to try it but I won't be back. $40 later, I was still hungry
Waiter was not nice and the food arrived to our table 50 mins after we ordered but it was good as always so I hope I’ll come back and have a better service experience.
Did not like the menu at all
Fun atmosphere; good selection; great oysters; great location.
The Dutch never fails to provide delicious food. A little crowded at a table in the middle. Go for the booths, or along the wall. The had burbon ice cream. One of the few places to carry it )made in house)m but not this visit.
Was backed up/discombobulated at the hostess stand. Long wait from our booking time and couldn’t get a straight answer. Table miraculously became available as we were about to go elsewhere. Solid food. Strong sommelier- likable, articulate, knowledge
The Dutch never disappoints - great food, wonderful service, fantastic all around!
Solid, unpretentious and approachable food. Lively atmosphere but easy enough to have a conversation.
Everything was delicious and as described ........only complaint was we felt rushed out at the end of the meal. The check was brought when the coffee was ordered and at least three people came over to see if we were ready to pay! Coffee not even sipped.
We went to the Dutch for Restaurant Week. The food was very good, portions were good size. We ordered some additional oysters ala carte, all four varieties with delicious. The menu would probably be two times the prize if it wasn't for the $29 Restaurant Week special. The waitress did a great job and so did her assistants .I would definitely repeat.
Oysters were very fresh and delicious .
Great restaurant week deal !
