We had to wait +25 minutes for a reserved table. When we walked into the dining room, there were 3 empty tables waiting for us.

Because they were catching up, the service felt rushed. Food was very good.

A great brunch spot that we haven't been to in a while. But wow, this was great food and wonderful service. Can't wait to go back. The flapjacks and the spinach omelet topped our list, but the everything bagel and cream cheese wasn't far behind. And really great and strong coffee.

Just booked a dinner at the last minute for our anniversary and not thinking much when I selected it for my occasion. The service and staff took the extra step to cater to us and did a little extra at the end. Superb! We had our first dinner here a year before!

Great menu fare; appetizers were good but main meal was excellent. Perfectly cooked to order and food delicious. Service was fantastic! They even provided a bit of a birthday celebration for my son who turned 18! Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

I always try to eat there every time I am in NYC. Great restaurant in a charming neighborhood. The food is amazing, and they have very professional and friendly staff. I've beed there in many different occasions—with friends, romantic dinner with my wife, business lunch meeting—and The Dutch always delivers it! Highly recommend it.

Baffled by the good reviews this restaurant has recieved lately. A nice atmosphere and a good venue does not make up for extremely over priced and disappointing food. Save yourself 35 dollars on the fried chicken and buy it for 10 anywhere else - it will be just as good.

Food and ambience were great.. the hot tin roof cocktail was the best!! appetizer (calamari and octopus) especially delish.. eggplant app also great.. pork chop dinner was terrific.. Along with the wonderful experiences, I do have one unhappy experience... I asked about a wine recommendation, and I didn't think it paired well with the dinner we ordered. He clearly wanted to just sell this wine, which we were greciously overcharged for.. also wine was decanted before I was given a taste and it was done away from the table. Never experienced this before..

Was lucky enough to grab a last minute time slot for The Dutch; and really enjoyed our dinner. Staff was very attentive; food was great - we really enjoyed the meal! We lingerie a bit after we wrapped up the tab; and never felt rushed at all. Great night!

Good dining choice in Soho. This was my second time here (the first being Thanksgiving) and The Dutch did not disappoint.

The staff is warm, but efficient; the room is warm and busy. I was greeted immediately as I entered and offered a seat for the few minutes I waited for my dining companions. We were shown a nice corner table--perfect for conversation while still absorbing the energy of the room.

The servers were professional and well presented and the food was very tasty. I started with the farmer salad and then had the fried chicken, which was very good and served with these nice honey biscuits.

I was having a minor medical procedure which prohibited me from my usual beers so the waitress told me about their "mocktails," non alcoholic cocktails. I had three--fun and refreshing.

I recommend The Dutch without hesitation.

The food was generally good, but the service was not relaxing. The waiter was too proactive, always asking if I wanted another glass of wine. The waiter was also too quick to remove our plates. It felt that they wanted to free the table for the next reservation. My wife and I felt rushed during the complete course of our evening. This is not the way to treat your guests when the average cost of your main course is $40.

What a great SoHo experience: delicious food, superb service, and a really great mix of people. It is formal enough for a major celebration without being stuffy. We were in suits, others much more hip and casual. It all worked together. Of special note were the oysters. Our server, Olivia, was extremely knowledgeable of the oysters and the entire menu. We had a great birthday celebration!

I have dined at the Dutch no less than 50 times (most of when it was managed by Chad). The Dutch has gone terribly downhill and is now terrible. Makes me sad but it’s the truth. Food is OK. Service fair (at best). Arrival staff very unfriendly. Makes me recall when it was Cub Room which went bankrupt and the Dutch is on its way to the same result. Time to shut it down and rebrand and restart.

This was one of the most positive dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was so attentive and were constantly coming to our table to clean it and to refill our water. I called ahead to ask the restaurant to surprise my husband with a birthday desert and a candle, and they actually remembered! Not only did they come over with a giant sparkler, but they took our picture with a Polaroid camera and gave us the copy of the picture as a memory. The food was so delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Southern food items (Shrimp & Grits, Fried Chicken, Jalapeno Cornbread) YES, everything else suffered from small portions and bland flavors. On the whole, it's a little crowded and one obnoxious table can easily take the decibel level inside beyond a gentle roar to a truly excruciating experience. Wouldn't do it for a date but maybe a Girl's Night or a large enough group that you're really only trying to be heard by/converse with those seated near to you.

An amazing experience of American dining. I love this area of NYC. The service from start to finish was excellent. However I asked for cocktails to be served before the wine which I wanted for mains. Didn't happen. The sommelier came and served red wine for our fish starter and poured for me to test while I had a mouthful of bread. Not overly attentive. The cocktails arrived mid starter. All a bit confused. Despite this it was a pleasant evening.
