   What should have been a great experience was tarnished by an outstandingly rude barman. Arrived on time, table not ready and so we were sent to the bar. My wife went to the restroom and the barman refused to serve me as she wasn’t there and walked off muttering under his breath. Rude and disrespectful. The rest of the visit was great and up to its usual standards and we’ve been so many times, but this is not acceptable.

   I've long loved The Dutch but it's harder to eat there and that's not just because a steak, one of the few things I could eat, is $70+ dollars! It's not just the cost -- rising everywhere, yes -- but as someone intolerant to gluten and dairy, I do not expect busy restaurants to make substitutions, try to work around but until the server could check they could cook a steak in oil not butter (!), there was little I could have. Also, there are plenty of people who cannot eat gluten so how about using tamari (GF, not just wheat-free) rather than soy sauce, thereby not excluding a bunch of people from a few dishes? Also, please educate your servers about allergies and intolerances. I know they're super busy and I appreciate their hard work so much, however, when we get assurances, clear understanding, we can relax. For many of us, not eating those yummy things, isn't a choice. Thank you

   We didn’t sit down for dinner until 35 min after our reservation, which the hostess told us it was our problem and there was nothing they could do as we asked when our table would be ready. The hostess was extremely rude and disrespectful. The manager sat us to our table and brought free champagne and corn bread, all things we did not ask for or want, and the champagne went untouched. After ordering, our food came out over 30 minutes after ordering and the manager never came back to make sure we got our food, that we were taken care of, nothing. Overall, a horrible experience with rude hostesses and very poor service and treatment.

   What a great find. The dishes were updated takes on North American classic brunch staples. The attention was in the details. Very savory and satisfying. I recommend the corn meal pancakes and the omelets. Tucked into a cozy corner in Soho it is warm and very NYC and stylish and smart but also comfy and not pretentious. Will definitely go again. Highly recommended. And do have the honey biscuits with brunch….

   My Curry butternut squash soup was bad. Watery and no taste of curry. Couldn’t do more than two spoonfuls. My niece’s Mediterranean Mezze was average at best. Neither my wife nor my entree was good either. Just an overall bad experience with the food.

   Absolutely loved this gem. The food was truly delicious, cool cocktails and I loved the decor. The private room downstairs looks like a great find for a small party. Absolutely would return and make this place my regular.

    I dine out in nyc several nights a week and this was a very disappointing experience. The hosts were rude, there were no substitutions or additions allowed when ordering and the menu was subpar. The food was poor quality and extremely overpriced.

    The food looked great. Pancakes were good and exactly as described. Friends Avo toast was exactly as described so if you like egg salad it’s a win, if not pick something else! Sides of both salmon and bacon were plentiful and enough to share! Fruit side was beautiful and yummy!

    We met friends for dinner. The restaurant is noisy but vibrant. The food is good yet the service was very efficient, so efficient the second course was served before the first was finished, same goes for desert. We felt unpleasantly rushed. At the end we told them that this is too much, that they should stop pushing us to eat quickly and leave. The manager came and asked why we were upset. Following our complaint he took the bill with the credit cards and said he will take care of it. It came back a couple of minutes later as was before. No discount or compensation for how upset we were. We left in shock

    The Dutch remains one of the most charming and dependable restaurants in Soho. Our food and drinks were fantastic. Too bad the menu has shrunk since the beginning of COVID, but ever they we had was excellent. The service was excellent and friendly as well.

    Maitre de was extremely unhelpful and actually went out of his way to make things difficult for us. We had two parties of 4. One of which would be 4 kids and they wanted to sit us in two different dining rooms when there were 4 tables of 4 completely open. After I pointed it out to them they took another 5mins discussing it and then finally sat us at the table. There is also a very limited menu for kids, most things had spice in them.

    Falafel dish came out raw inside and undercooked. Steak tartare lacked taste. The other dishes were just ok. Would skip this restaurant in the future.

    Thanksgiving dinner at The Dutch did not disappoint this midwestern gal! Lovely cozy setting even though it is, actually, a very large restaurant, and was packed today. Cocktails spot on, especially the Bird of Paradise with turmeric and ginger. I didn’t think the main course could be better than the appetizer of Burrata with roasted honeynut squash, pumpkin seeds, and pomegranate, but the entire meal was delicious. And just when I couldn’t eat another bite, dessert for me was pecan pie with a pretzel crust and chocolate bourbon sauce….what??? Salted caramel ice cream on the side (that tasted homemade) was the perfect complement. Service impeccable—kudos to the wait staff for graciously managing a large crowd.

    Absolutely delicious and our service was wonderful! She was very attentive and cheerful and helpful! The prices were a bit over the top and honestly beyond our work limitations- this was a work lunch and we have to do extra explanations on inflated costs.

    LOVED it, the food was amazing! I went for brunch, the service was outstanding. It is a little pricey but worth it, if you can swing it. It is a little loud in there (in line with previous reviews)

    Wonderful dinner. Would like more vegetarian/ pescatarian options though. Great ambiance being outdoors in the fall weather. Service was wonderful. Waiter super knowledgeable about wines.
