Food is always good, but it seemed a bit pricey compared to other times we had been there.
Did not accommodate a stroller
My adult son and I had dinner at The Dutch. The place was busy, but the service was attentive and everything we ordered (starting with a dozen oysters) was done very well. The noise level was a little too loud for me, but pretty typical for the area. We spent a leisurely time eating and talking and we weren’t rushed. I’d enjoy going there again.
Super time celebrating family birthdays! Great seating, great food, fun drinks and a collegiate atmosphere. Everyone was having fun.
Not that much
The crab appetizer was good with the harissa
The steak tartare was also good
I was a little disappointed with the tuna dish but my dining partner was happy with the lamb.
The peach shortcake was ok.
A bit pricey for the value. Overall ok but probably go back for drinks only.
I've been here a few times before, but this time it was off. I was disappointed in the food and the service just ok.
Great fried chicken, hanger steak, and oysters! We split all the dishes, it was just great!
I booked for a friend and I pre-concert. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told I could sit at the bar before my friend arrived. The bar was packed....no seats and barely standing room. I returned to the reception desk and asked if I could be seated whilst waiting for my friend. I was told that both parties have to be present to be seated and when I complained that there was no seating the response was “if there’s no seating then it’s just standing room”. Amazing customer service right there. I promptly left and went to Little Prince 1 minute away. Great friendly staff and good food. Much better choice. Choose better quality service staff The Dutch. I won’t be back until you trim the crap.
Lousy brunch. Cold when it was supposed to be hot, tasteless and uninspired. Very disappointing.
Great experience, my mom and I really enjoyed our evening with great American cuisine.
The zucchini blossom was so tasty and yet delicate.
Food was good, but all entrees were about $5 more than it should've cost.
Great experience, attentive and welcoming staff.
Waited almost 45 minutes for our table, despite having a reservation.
If I could, I would award an extra star for service. Staff were gracious, accommodating, helpful while remaining unobtrusive. The food was inventive and delicious without being precious.
Would not seat us at table we wanted. Food was just ok.schnitzel was dry thick and not flavorful.
Fabulous and inventive food and service to match—ALWAYS a pleasure to dine there!
Quality food restaurant with seasonal specials. Service is outstanding.
Good food in a nice environment in the heart of Soho
Delicious food and great atmosphere!!
Nice selection of fresh shellfish, good and original cocktails, and main courses complemented by terrific sides. Overall an excellent experience.
Amazing service - extremely good food and reasonable prices - beautiful ambient
The staff was polite courteous and very helpful. Will definitely be back.
Great service with a 3 year old! Eggplant dip still delicious all these years. Recc the Donut Tree with a group to share.
Best food and service ever!! Totally loved it. They paid attention to details and made our night unforgettable!! I got the reservation for my husbands birthday and they were super friendly and tentative to us!
It was a great atmosphere for a bday celebration!
WE WERE GREETED BY THE MAITRE D' WITH GREAT ENTHUASIUM. SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD. BOTH OF US LOVED THE WINE SUGGESTED BY THE SERVER AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT. ALSO THE RASBERRY MINT SORBET WAS THE BEST I EVER HAD.
It was lovely to have a relatively quiet lunch at this restaurant, which serves great food but is often overrun with trendsters and out-of-towners in the evenings. The food was well-prepared, with decent portions. Friendly servers and staff. I even observed a staffer polishing spots off a wine glass before setting it down on the table. A little pricey, though.
Had lunch on Monday afternoon—good beef tartar and service. Cute decor
Have already recommended The Dutch to friends. Great imaginative food, charming service
The food at The Dutch was delicious as usual. This was my 5+ time dining. With that said, they have made some changes recently. Their prices have absolutely increased by $10+ per entree and the avg entree is ~$45 and an app is $20. While the food is good, the prices are outrageous and I would for the same prices, I would rather go somewhere else with better service and management.
It was overpriced for the food and service. Plus our table was an odd shape which made it hard to talk with one another. Our waitress was not friendly or smiling and she didn’t help make suggestions for our 2 kids. The food was really expensive, and while good, was no better than thousands of other places.
I hate to admit it, as the Dutch has always been one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood, but I could not be more disappointed in all aspects of my last visit. I was with two clients and did not want to make an issue about the inedible food that was served, especially at sharply increased prices of $35 to $45 per entree. The salmon I ordered was cooked well+ and was barely edible, the Iberico pork entrees that they received were also way over cooked and the French fries were cold and soggy. You guys can do better.
We went on a Saturday Brunch to celebrate a birthday. We weren’t able to sit in our table until the whole party arrived, which is understandable but also annoying considering we were a large party and we were only missing one person.
The food was delicious and the service was good.
Definitely recommend as long as you go with punctual friends.
Always good. Great location and atmosphere!
I heard someone had an allergic reaction after telling the waiter they a party was allergic to nuts and then the restaurant made that party pay for the meal even though one of them had to go to the hospital. Will not go back
The food continues to be superb here. The lamb dish alone is worth the trip. Not a place for quiet conversation- it’s rather loud in the restaurant. Great service.
A very good meal, but a bit overpriced.
Had a fabulous lunch here catching up with friends. We were not rushed, wait staff was accommodating to questions about menu items. Restaurant Week menu was vegetarian friendly. Have walked by The Dutch many times and am sorry it took this long to enjoy!
