The Dutch Miami Ratings and Reviews
Came for the prix fixe Miami spice menu and it was fantastic. The dishes were clean and flavorful instead of the fried, red meat heavy fare of most restaurants. I really enjoyed the crisp of the salmon skin and the nutty textures infused into the creamsicle chocolate rum cake. The setting of the W hotels lush garden was tropical magic. Ps spg platinum hotel guests get a discount at dinner!
My family of seven ate at the outside booth. Inside is quiet w great a/c as option. Service was great. Good menu for the children. The hangar steak was really good. My wife had the yellowtail sashimi/watermelon app for her light great dinner.
We are doing a girls trip in Miami and were looking for a nice restaurant for dinner. We chose The Dutch and it was a great decision! Our waiter Christian was very attentive. The wine we requested was out of stock, so they accommodated us with a nicer bottle at no additional cost. The outdoor seating ambiance was wonderful. I would recommend the salmon. We would definitely come back here again!
Went to The Dutch as part of a family vacation. Tried the tasting menu for four adults (2 parents, 2 adult children) and it was an absolute delight. So many unique tastes, all of them explained expertly by our waiter, James. Loved our experience. It came highly recommended by friends and lived up to the billing.
I was pleasantly surprised at how outstanding the food and service was. Our favorite dishes were yellowtail crudo served sashimi style over cubes of watermelon and a slice of jalapeño, a snapper dish in a broth redolent of fresh oregano, a very nice steak tartare , and an outstanding upscale version of impeccably cooked and seasoned jerk chicken. The kitchen is really paying attention. I would come here again and again if I lived here. Best meal in Miami so far.
Great setting, wonderful service, amazing food. Attention to detail on everything is impeccable and well worth the money. Would return to The Dutch in a heartbeat to experience more of the delicious food and vibrant scenery. It was the best meal we had on our trip to Miami!
Good menu, very comfortable seating (outside) with a nice vibe. Food was mediocre but it was a holiday. They should tell diners that tip is included, we left a great tip only to realize they had already added it but server never mentioned it, which was a bit sleazy. Some dishes came out with ingredients not listed on the menu and had to be sent back. Wine selection is terrific. Not sure I would go back at these prices but overall a good meal in a C+ food city. Caution - if you're allergic to Douchey patrons the W hotel probably isn't the best place to hang out...but if you are one you can park your Lamborghini right in front.
Highly reccomend the tasting menu for 2-lots of great and surprising selections. Cocktail list was interesting, different and did not disappoint. Worth going out of the box. Good wine list and attentive staff. Sommelier and waiter made great pairing selections. This restaurant was a subtly hip and humbly elegant stop before a night out at the W and late night on the Sobe scene.
