The Dunraven is always good.
The food at the Dunraven is consistently very good. The menu doesn’t change much but that’s a good thing since we love what they have on the menu. Very nice variety of Italian, steaks and fresh seafood.
The staff is amazing. So attentive and made our evening so special.
You will need a reservation but it is worth the wait.
Whenever we travel we are always looking for where the locals eat. We know that’s usually where the best food and service are. That was definitely the case with the Dunraben Inn. Excellent Italian quisine with a low key family friendly atmosphere. The food was also a great value compared to other Italian restaurants nearby.
We love this restaurant the food is great as is the service and atmosphere.
We enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent
We were sat in the back dining room. Shortly after we were seated the rest of the room, sans one other table, was filled with a wedding party. The noise level continued to increase to the point that conversation was impossible. We finished our meal as quickly as we could since talking was impossible. I feel that single tables should not be sat with the guests of the wedding party just to get the other diners (us)in and out as quickly as possible.
I was recommended this restaurant by a stranger in 2017. Went for a visit. At first glance, I'd probably pass on it but we gave it a shot. We were glad we did! The steaks (stuffed filet minion and rib eye steaks) were both amazing! We returned for our next anniversary in 2018 with high expectations after such a good experience in 2017! The experience we had was absolutely amazing, with great service, amazing food and a great atmosphere. It's official, every anniversary, we will be there. And any other time we come to Estes!
We dine at Dunraven Inn a couple of times a year when we visit Estes Park. The food and service is always wonderful. A great place to dine when visiting Estes Park. Be sure to make reservations to peak travel times (summer).
Dunraven Inn is our favorite place in Estes Park. Always great service and excellent food.
Great food and drinks. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Nice menu selection. Visited while on a get-away and were glad we went to the Dunraven!
We had eaten there before and were looking forward to enjoying a nice meal together. Unfortunately after being seated we realised there was a party for local residents taking place in a back room and those attending had spilled into the main dinning area. Even though we were on the opposite side of the room and sitting at a very small table we were not able to hear each other or those waiting on us. The food was good but the noise level made it difficult to enjoy it. We wished we would have been informed there was a party going on and been offered to sit in a different room. Based on our first visit we would recommend, based on this visit we would encourage friends to eat elsewhere if they are wanting to share a nice meal.
Great service and delicious food. Even the bread service and salad was so yummy!!
Great restaurant for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. The food is really great!
Loved the atmosphere, the staff, the food, wine selection and overall quality of the experience.
You can't really base the experience at the Dunraven Inn on the "what would you rate this on" section above. Those comments are based on...well I don't think much of them frankly. They're very "The World Started in 2008" oriented, in my opinion.
And the Dunraven Inn isn't of that world. It's older and that's OK. God help it if it ever tried to become vibrant and vegan, and help the world if all dining establishments have to be.
It was good. The service was excellent, it was fun in a throwback kind of way and while not overly crowded it was a bit noisy (not in a bow to being vibrant, it's just a small place).
The food wasn't outstanding, the kitchen might have been having trouble with one of the specials as I saw at least two of them being returned, but it's still worth the time the drive to get here.
Our waiter was very informative and engaging. Excellent food & great service!
Wonderful little restaurant . Great service and food. Dishes were well prepared and presented. Great value !
We love the ambience. Out server was very attentive and the food was outstanding. Plan on being hungry, the portions are very generous
Outstanding food and menu selection. Always delicious and the staff are always friendly and courteous. Thank you for providing such great service!
Great as always
We were greeted with a personal touch wishing us a happy anniversary. Great wine selection. Everything was delicious from apps, soups, salads, entrees, loaves of bread, and dessert. Loved the service and ambiance. A local favorite. We will definitely be back.
We were promptly seated by the hostess, and she made a point to seat us by the fireplace. Our waitress (Hungarian background) was attentive, helpful, and answered our questions well. The service was very good! The soup, salad and steak were prepared properly and were very tasty! We are looking forward to our next visit to the restaurant.
We have eaten here twice. Both times the service and food were fabulous. Drinks are definitely worth the price.
What a gem off the beaten path. Food as good a much more expensive restaurants. Great staff. Nice ambience.
The Dunraven Inn was a excellent dining experience overall! Our server, Bryan, was tremendous and was instrumental in creating the perfect atmosphere for our meal. Terrific menu with well done dishes all around.
We have made it a habit to have our birthday dinners at The Dunraven. We love the atmosphere and the outstanding food, however once a year is about all we can afford!
We have never had a bad meal or bad service at this great place! Portions are just right, and we usually have leftovers if we have a pasta dish. Definitely the freshest seafood in town. This time I had salmon and it was absolutely delicious!
This place is always a must when we are inn Estes Park. Truly great memories are attached. The food is incredible and the wait staff are the friendliest. Brian our server made us smile, laugh and thankful that we made this stop once again at the Dunraven. Don’t debate, just go!
We are locals and have dined at Dunraven many times before, but, this time was disturbing because we were seated in back room that had loud party going on and we could barely hear each other (hard on ears)!!
Andy does a nice job! He has a great staff. Our server was Brian and he was amazing! Filet was cooked perfectly and the food is the best in town!
Excellent food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. They really care and want you happy.
We met friends by accident after both parties were already seated. The wait staff cheerfully accommodated our request for a change in seating and the food was excellent, as was the whole experience. This was our first visit to the Dunraven Inn and we will be back again.
Incredible seafood, steaks, pasta.....love it all. Service is very friendly as well as the other staff!
Dunraven is always excellent! Never disappoints. Service is always above par.
Delicious dinner, great staff and waitress, very pleased.
Always a great place to eat and on our to do list when we visit Estes Park! I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the fettuccine Alfredo. Both were excellent. We also love the lasagne here and they make a good filet. Highly recommend
The Dunraven is a historical local favorite. Italian by nature, and great steaks. Our favorites are their garlic salad dressing, Filet Mignon, Lasagna, and Italian sausage and meatball. Great selection of wines and cocktails and desserts. We love to finish with Spumoni. Decor is old feel Italian, quaint, dark. The staff is very friendly.
We've been coming here for years. This is probably the best restaurant in Estes Park. We have never seen it "not crowded". Be sure to make reservations before you go. Our waitress Erica has been there a long time and is just the best. Don't recall ever having bad service from any of the staff. I always get the same thing everytime so can't make recommendations on all of the items on the menu, but the baked ziti and side of meatballs is delicious. I definitely recommend eating here on your visit to Estes Park.
If your in Estes Park or headed to the mountains this place is a must! Incredible food and incredible wine!
Service and vibe was great, food was okay! Pricing is reasonable. The Eggplant Parm was not good, that was a disappointment. Fix that and we will be back.
