We have made it a habit to have our birthday dinners at The Dunraven. We love the atmosphere and the outstanding food, however once a year is about all we can afford!
We have never had a bad meal or bad service at this great place! Portions are just right, and we usually have leftovers if we have a pasta dish. Definitely the freshest seafood in town. This time I had salmon and it was absolutely delicious!
This place is always a must when we are inn Estes Park. Truly great memories are attached. The food is incredible and the wait staff are the friendliest. Brian our server made us smile, laugh and thankful that we made this stop once again at the Dunraven. Don’t debate, just go!
We are locals and have dined at Dunraven many times before, but, this time was disturbing because we were seated in back room that had loud party going on and we could barely hear each other (hard on ears)!!
Andy does a nice job! He has a great staff. Our server was Brian and he was amazing! Filet was cooked perfectly and the food is the best in town!
Excellent food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. They really care and want you happy.
We met friends by accident after both parties were already seated. The wait staff cheerfully accommodated our request for a change in seating and the food was excellent, as was the whole experience. This was our first visit to the Dunraven Inn and we will be back again.
Incredible seafood, steaks, pasta.....love it all. Service is very friendly as well as the other staff!
Dunraven is always excellent! Never disappoints. Service is always above par.
Delicious dinner, great staff and waitress, very pleased.
Always a great place to eat and on our to do list when we visit Estes Park! I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the fettuccine Alfredo. Both were excellent. We also love the lasagne here and they make a good filet. Highly recommend
The Dunraven is a historical local favorite. Italian by nature, and great steaks. Our favorites are their garlic salad dressing, Filet Mignon, Lasagna, and Italian sausage and meatball. Great selection of wines and cocktails and desserts. We love to finish with Spumoni. Decor is old feel Italian, quaint, dark. The staff is very friendly.
We've been coming here for years. This is probably the best restaurant in Estes Park. We have never seen it "not crowded". Be sure to make reservations before you go. Our waitress Erica has been there a long time and is just the best. Don't recall ever having bad service from any of the staff. I always get the same thing everytime so can't make recommendations on all of the items on the menu, but the baked ziti and side of meatballs is delicious. I definitely recommend eating here on your visit to Estes Park.
If your in Estes Park or headed to the mountains this place is a must! Incredible food and incredible wine!
Service and vibe was great, food was okay! Pricing is reasonable. The Eggplant Parm was not good, that was a disappointment. Fix that and we will be back.
Always enjoyable. A beautiful drive to a pleasant dinner. Been coming here for the past 20 some years. Gotten a little pricey and commercialized, but still worth the drive.
Outstanding restaurant in all phases of service, quality of food, price, and ambiance....5 stars all around
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Went here after proposing to my fiancé and we both couldn't have asked for a better experience than we received. Wait staff is friendly and informative and the ambiance is very cozy.
Excellent food and service as always. If in Estes Park, it is a must stop!
The waiter had tremendous grasp of the menu and was able to recommend based on ingredients and taste. He was fabulous.
Went early to avoid so much noise. It was great, quiet, good was excellent
We went to the Dunraven to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were greeted very warmly
and seated promptly. The food was delicious as always, and the service was excellent. One of the things we love about the Dunraven is its cozy ambiance.
The service from my waitress was great from the beginning and that was about the only thing I thought was truly great. I ordered the New York Strip with a side of pasta. The meal also came with a salad or soup and bread. The homemade creamy ranch dressing was good.
However, when I got my main entree, I was not satisfied. I ordered my steak medium rare and the steak was still raw in the middle and the fat on the side was unrendered and the pasta was just slightly overcooked. The fettuccine sauce was great though. I sent the steak back and when I got it back, one section was almost well done and the other was rare.
If you're dining here, I would stay away from the steak, but would try the pasta. My waitress did everything possible to help in the situation. She came back multiple times to make sure I was ok and the food was good, but I knew at the end of the day the kitchen wouldn't be able to get my steak right.
This place was amazing I’ve never had a better steak and the service was excellent!
Our server spent no time with us. My husband and I both had steak which while flavorful was tough and had lots of gristle. Ambiance was great, hostess was very charming. Very disappointed.
We let be the Dunraven. Good food & kind people who make us feel welcome. Service was a bit slower this time but think that many diners arrived at once. Very nice evening.
Great food, nice service, cozy atmosphere, fun place to go with a group or a romantic dinner for two. We’ve done both and always enjoy it!
We had eaten here once before. Made reservations this time. Especially liked the sharing plate provision since we are older and don't eat as much anymore and we didn't want to take food back to our room. Veal Marsala was excellent and just the right size. Caesar Salad is well worth the $5.00 charge. Restaurant provided free dessert for our anniversary. Our waiter was Colin and he was very pleasant and attentive. All the wait staff was attentive and continually assisted each other in keeping water glasses full and cleaning off vacated tables. I would consider the Dunraven to be one of the best places to eat in Estes Park.
We go to the Dunraven inn a lot, and we always love it. This is the go to place for consistently good food!
The menu posted on open table was not the menu in the resturant. Menu items and prices were different. An update is needed.
The Dunravenven is a long time favorite for us. The food is wonderful “comfort” food. The lasagna is an all time favorite. We always have a terrific wait staff and are excellent. We look forward to our next visit.
40th Anniversary for the in-laws. Great staff and good food.
Dunraven has been ine of our favorites for over 37 years. Always good, if a bit pricey.
The Dunraven Inn is consistent with their food, drinks, atmosphere and service. We love the Dunraven.
3 out of 4 steaks were cooked to specific request (medium) but the fourth request for medium cooked steak came back RAW! Had to be sent back to kitchen. All else was perfectly delicious! We will be back, and hope that when we request medium on steaks again, they will come back medium cooked! Thank you!
The pasta meals are good but portions are way too big. Overall the experience was good. The atmosphere was cozy as there are a lot of tables super close together.
It was my wife's birthday and although we didn't have room for desert our waitress still brought us some lemincella, was a super sweet gesture! The food was amazing, ambience is cozy and inviting. Excellent dining in Estes! We will be back.
The food and service are always good and consistent. We are lucky enough to live here and visit the Dunraven often. It is also where we always take our guests.
Service is always top-notch and the food normally is as well, but this time the Baked Ziti was dry and over-cooked. Still enjoy this restaurant on each visit to Estes Park and will surely try them out again next time.
Overpriced for subpar food. Ambiance and service was pleasant. Would not go back
Once again the Dunraven was fabulous. Baked lobster ziti is terrific as is the scallops appetizer.
We have eaten here many times and will again when back in Estes Park
