Great place. Love the atmosphere. Will be going back again soon.
Caesar salad wasn’t good
I love this restaraunt! This place may be the best value in all of Mass!
Loved the food and drink. Outstanding service!
A Tuesday evening was very busy and it was loud to talk with business customers that I took there. Tables were also small for a dinner meeting. Otherwise, great!
The Duck staff went above and beyond during our visit. When I initially made the reservation the only open tables were high tops. At the last minute my sister needed to bring her one year old who would need a high chair. The staff was able to move around reservations in order to find us a table that would accommodate a high chair. It was a huge help in allowing my sister to relax on our "girls' night out".
Always great food and good service. I highly recommend!
The fried oysters were outstanding as an appetizer. We both ordered the short rib pasta and that was wonderful. We split an ice cream for dessert. Came there for Brimfield and we will be back to again in May when we come back to Brimfield. Our waiter Ethan was great.
Great atmosphere and food recommended you make reservations
was worth the money
It was less upscale than we had hoped, and very busy. With nothing to abate the noise level, it was extremely loud - so that normal conversation was difficult. We had six PM reservations, and the kitchen was already out of the special that two of our party ordered. These things happen, but that seems awfully early to run out of a special. Our server was very good, but I felt sorry for her because she had to keep telling us they were out of items (some draft beer we ordered was out, as well as side vegetables she had told us about). I think this restaurant is good for what it is, but the Cedar Street Grill, it's sister restaurant, is a more comfortable choice.
Food was very good. Service was great. It’s small and a bit noisy
Staff excellent, helpful and flexible. However disappointed to see some of the not wearing masks. Food was slightly above average of reasonable value. Tables well spaced. Outdoor seating ok with shade cover. Unfortunately just too hot on the day.
Service was excellent. Hannah is a keeper. The steak tips were very tender but I did not care for the sweet sauce & over cooked peppers. probably just my issue. Also, the steak with all this sauce was on top if the fries which just made them mushy. Probably better with mashed potatoes.
Have been coming here for many years.
Food was good except for mussels and scallops and risotto. Used to be priced appropriately but now seems overpriced.
It was our first visit and we loved it. The food and service was excellent and there was live music. We had a great night.
Fabulous in all ways! Something for everyone! Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend!
If ur a couple the two seater tables are way too close to each other. Has nothing to do with covid it has to do with trying to talk without feeling like every word is shared with the next table. Don’t go there to have a romantic dinner which is a shame it is a very setting . Totally enjoyed the harmonica & guitar player during dinner
Our first time here & so happy we found this little hideaway restaurant. Decorated adorable with beautiful lighting. We sat at a table but would definitely sit at the cozy bar next time. Food was delicious & large portions. Will definitely be back!
The food was delicious, everything was great! Thank you!
CAME HERE FOR OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND I COULDN'T HAVE PLANNED ANYTHING BETTER FOOD WISE! IT WAS AMAZING!!
The bartender was very pleasant and made the evening quite fun. The food was very good. I, appropriately, had the duck which was very moist and tasty. I will return for sure.
Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and I was given the gluten free menu on arrival, as requested! The kitchen took great care in preparing my meal, and it was an overall great experience! This restaurant group is amazing, and I will always be a customer!
Everything was delicious!
Food was well prepared and fresh, sauces were carefully chosen and complimented entrees perfectly
My friend and I sat at the bar, the 2 men bartending were funny, entertaining and bantered with us. We loved it. The ahi tuna appetizer was amazing, we also had the French fry with cheese dish which was good but huge and heavy for a hot summer day. We had a very nice afternoon at The Duck and will return no doubt
They accommodated my allergy needs, though I did point out one error that could have caused a reaction. They graciously made my favorite meal even though it was on the menu. Our server, Elijah, was excellent and attentive.
Friendly atmosphere with good customer service. Excellent food.
Hostess was less than enthusiastic and not friendly
Waitress was friendly
Food was excellent
Portions were good
Terrific service, great food! Enjoyed a nice lunch at The Duck!
This place is fabulous the service and the food is excellent we definitely going back again and we really recommend it to everyone
The live music was a plus!
Busy for a Wednesday night. Lovely venue and very attentive, friendly service. The menu is sufficiently broad and interesting for this cuisine style. However, the execution was deficient. The clam chowder was inedible by our standards (speaking as New Englanders), far too salty, perhaps due to the heavy use of bacon, and absence of clam or "sea" flavors. Instead, there was a notable aftertaste of smoked Gouda, presumably due to the bacon and (over) cooked milk. The house salad was tasty, but drowned in excess vinaigrette. The raviolis had a tasty vegetable filling, but had thin sticky pasta, with an unappealing texture. We saw that adjacent tables were ordering more conventional pub food (burger, tacos, onion rings)...perhaps, these would have been better choices.
We had a lovely evening at The Duck. Our food was slow to arrive but we weren’t in a hurry, ( I know restaurants are having a hard time getting help right now) the food was good. It was a pleasant evening out. 😊
What a wonderful time celebrating a friends birthday. The staff was so cheerful, kind, and helpful. The atmosphere is always perfect and the food is always the best regardless if you’re ordering an old favorite or trying something new- always 10/10. I highly recommend the steak or the cordon bleu.
Nice dining experience! We were there at a busy time but the food was good and didn’t feel rushed. Will definitely return!
The gluten-free roll was so dry it fell apart and the grilled chicken patty was very dry I could barely cut it
We were disappointed tonight ….with the understanding staff is not available and it just was ok—it will be a while til we return —we took a break and came back tonight — tired of same menu too
Our dinners were certainly not worth the price we paid. My braised short ribs over pappardelle had only 3 small pieces of the meat, a few mushrooms and a lot of the pasta. For the $28 price I expected more of the meat and mushrooms. My husbands Duck a la Orange was also disappointing - barely warm, very little of the sauce and a lot of the risotto. It seems they serve a lot of the "filler" and little of the substance.
Small and well-staffed. Drinks and food were great. Highly recommend the tuna poke and veggie tacos.
My wife and I shared a large Caesar salad and veal piccata and chicken cordon bleu entrees. All excellently prepared and flavorful with large portions. The only downside was the high noise level of The Duck. Otherwise, everything was excellent and worth the prices. The teramisu desert didn't disappoint. Highly recommended for anyone in Sturbridge.
