Food and service were excellent. I had seafood chowder which was very hearty and an excellent salad. My significant other had filet and said it was excellent and sides were better than other places we had been in town.

Our waitress was really sweet but the service took forever to get our food and drinks and order. The food was not worth the money that we spent and was very bland and not great portions. Not impressed.

Order was not correct, then way overcooked. While the server was nice and accommodating when he was around, I had to ask another server for something I needed because ours was not around. There was a loudmouth sitting at the table next to ours having a one-way "conversation" with his female dining partner. His conversation was very offensive, and the staff never asked him to get quieter. I've eaten there before, but after this time I won't return for dining. The upstairs bar seems pretty happening, and I like to go there occasionally, but it's always super crowded and hard to get a drink.

And now I find that my credit card was charged more than what I signed/authorized. Definitely not returning.

It is an interesting place that has a neat old west/mining feel. The food, however, was subpar and overpriced. I don't mind the overpriced aspect, as that is expected in a resort town, but I do expect quality food when you're paying top dollar. Especially since there are only about 6 entrees on the menu. You should be able to execute all of them flawlessly. They did not.

Certainly a great meal! Had the filet, yum! Partner had lobster tail, he loved it. Service was decent and friendly. Only downfall, pricey for the ambiance it has.

The setting was interesting, but the food and service were uneven. Steaks were very good, and an appetizer of sausages was tasty. There were no vegetarian entrees (although both pastas and vegetarian options were advertised on Open Table and on the website)they offered to make a plate of sides for our vegetarian which was underwhelming .

We were in Breck for New Year's and lucky enough to find this place. Despite the busy day our servers were happy and helpful. The food was eclectic and excellent. We look forward to coming back! Happy New Year!

We were able to get a reservation last minute, nearly the only place in town available. The service was great; our waiter said it was his second week waiting tables and he did a great job! Especially for how busy they were!
The crab legs were out of this world, and we know good crab legs! I️ will absolutely make another visit when we come back to town!

We initially chose The Dredge because we could book a reservation online. We figured even if the food wasn't great, at least we weren't having to wait hours to get a table, which has happened in Breckenridge during this VERY busy time of the year.

However, we were pleasantly surprised and pleased with everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere in the evening is warm and cozy. The bar area where we waited to be seated was family friendly, with a variety of board games and pool, not to mention local beer and whiskey available.

The menu is filled with delicious options. We decided on the venison sausage, the elk medallions, and the chicken and waffles. The elk medallions were perfectly cooked, tender, and delicious. The sausage was also a big hit- one was sweet and one was spicy. My son had the chicken and waffles and we heard no complaints from him at all AND there was none left for us to taste at the end. The only thing I didn't love were the mashed potatoes. They were a little bland, but I could overlook that because the meat was amazing!

The service was friendly and our server checked on us several times to make sure the food was okay and to refresh drinks.

The cost of the meal was more than we typically pay for a meal, but the quality, service, and type of food being served fit the price point. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

We thought everything was just amazing. Our waitress, Liz, was knowledgeable, patient and friendly with our boisterous group. The food was GREAT all around, and several in our group commented on the great value. Kids loved the Mac and cheese! Hard to imagine a better experience here in Breck....we’ll be back!!

It was our first meal in Breck & we loved the unique environment. The server was personable and welcoming. Our cocktails, made with locally distilled liquors, were very tasty. The appetizer was excellent, but they didn’t give us enough bread or vegetables for the dip we ordered. By the time our server brought us more, the dip was cold. My daughters each ordered the filet mignon, which was outstanding. I had the salmon, which could’ve been more flavorful. In general, we had a great experience, and I would highly recommend it!

Very expensive for the quality of food served. Potatoes were served cold, Brussels sprouts were also cold and overdone. Steaks were not of the quality of thee price charged. Overall the food was sub par and disappointing. Place has potential if the food coming out of kitchen is greatly improved.

First visit to Breckenridge and first visit to Dredge. We had a very pleasant evening as the atmosphere was casual and friendly and fun. The food ordered, steak frete, angus burgers were as ordered and tasty. Great place for casual night out and can move to the bar after dinner if desired. Recommended.

Have dined here several times over past few years as we vacation her 2 weeks each year. Menu was drastically changed from last year. Menu extremely limited and price seems to have increased as well. Quality of food has decreased. Too bad. We really liked this place.

The Spinach/Artichoke Dip was really good. The Elk Tips were acceptable, but not great. I ordered 4 Filets, 3 cook Medium Rare. 2 of those Medium Rare came out Well Done. We sent them back and when they came back out, 1 was acceptable and the other was RAW. Sent it back and they cooked it more. Lol. Yuk. All 4 had no taste. The Garlic Potatoes were horribly dried out. We ask for some Herb Butter, which showed up 20 minutes later. All together, I'm not sure what was worse, the food, service, or the Manager's response when I complained. He said, "I have a cook that had to leave so I am stuck in the kitchen so that's why the service was bad because I couldn't watch over her". Hmmm, so he admits the food was bad because he was in the kitchen? Overall opinion? We would never go back as well as when I mentioned it to a couple of people that work at the hotel that we were staying at they even made the comment that they would not have gone there either. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

The Dredge is currently going through renovations; however, we did not know that until we got there. The menu was completely different than their website. No one else was dining there as well. It seems like whoever owns this restaurant has run it into the ground and is trying to bring it back. Unfortunate because it is such a cool experience.

We made this reservation for one of our nights out on our honeymoon. The restaurant had great views and a very cool atmosphere. The staff took great care of us and I had a very well prepared filet for my meal. All in all we enjoyed our time at the dredge and will make it a tradition to stop in anytime we make our way to Breckenridge.

food was ok, but our server was not too keen on listening when we went to tip her, told her put 5 on card and was gonna tip her 15 in cash, we do this because some restraunts wont do right by thier employees when it comes to the daily keeps. she interjected and lectured on how this is America and we tip 15 percent we have to make a living.. I do not dispute this, however, brought out 4 plates total, didn't keep up on drinks, messed up on a long island iced tea twice, they did take that off. The bill was 100 bucks, 15 percent is 15. It upset my wife bad enough she wanted to stiff her, but i still left 5 on the card and 5 in cash, so only 10, had she not upset my wife on her birthday, she would have been tipped 20, not for the service, just because they do make thier living on tips. I did feel bad till i thought about it in this manner, 2 tables one just me and my wife, the other a family if we tipped 10 and the other 10, we were there for under 45 minutes, and less time being waited in, but just say 1 hour.. 20 an hour, i am a master machinist, and i only make 21 an hour.. so i really dont feel horribly, especially considering 4 plates and a few drinks. she wanted to point out this is America we tip 15 percent... well this is America people can choose to not tip as well. this ruined my wife's birthday night, thanks a lot

We had a wonderful time at the Dredge restaurant for our anniversary. It was very quiet where we were sitting and we were able to enjoy the view of the water and mountains until dark. Our server was very congenial and did a great job. The food was delicious and our experience was fabulous. I am sure during ski season it would be very busy and may be a bit noisy, but it wasn't this time of year.
