The Dredge is currently going through renovations; however, we did not know that until we got there. The menu was completely different than their website. No one else was dining there as well. It seems like whoever owns this restaurant has run it into the ground and is trying to bring it back. Unfortunate because it is such a cool experience.

We made this reservation for one of our nights out on our honeymoon. The restaurant had great views and a very cool atmosphere. The staff took great care of us and I had a very well prepared filet for my meal. All in all we enjoyed our time at the dredge and will make it a tradition to stop in anytime we make our way to Breckenridge.

food was ok, but our server was not too keen on listening when we went to tip her, told her put 5 on card and was gonna tip her 15 in cash, we do this because some restraunts wont do right by thier employees when it comes to the daily keeps. she interjected and lectured on how this is America and we tip 15 percent we have to make a living.. I do not dispute this, however, brought out 4 plates total, didn't keep up on drinks, messed up on a long island iced tea twice, they did take that off. The bill was 100 bucks, 15 percent is 15. It upset my wife bad enough she wanted to stiff her, but i still left 5 on the card and 5 in cash, so only 10, had she not upset my wife on her birthday, she would have been tipped 20, not for the service, just because they do make thier living on tips. I did feel bad till i thought about it in this manner, 2 tables one just me and my wife, the other a family if we tipped 10 and the other 10, we were there for under 45 minutes, and less time being waited in, but just say 1 hour.. 20 an hour, i am a master machinist, and i only make 21 an hour.. so i really dont feel horribly, especially considering 4 plates and a few drinks. she wanted to point out this is America we tip 15 percent... well this is America people can choose to not tip as well. this ruined my wife's birthday night, thanks a lot

We had a wonderful dinner and wine prices were affordable. We recommend going early so you can have the whole place to yourself. The wait staff was very friendly and made sure to check on us frequently.

The worst pieces of meat that I've ever had if it hadn't been for the excellent waitstaff I would have sent everything back great ambiance for an old place used to be a lot better back in the day I would highly suggest you go someplace else or go for the wait staff and order drinks but definitely do not eat there other than salads!!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Dredge restaurant for our anniversary. It was very quiet where we were sitting and we were able to enjoy the view of the water and mountains until dark. Our server was very congenial and did a great job. The food was delicious and our experience was fabulous. I am sure during ski season it would be very busy and may be a bit noisy, but it wasn't this time of year.

The dining room was closed. There was no one there to check us into open table. We went upstairs to bar where there was just the bartender. She gruffly told me take a seat and she'd be right over. She didn't come by so we left.

We were a party of 10. When we arrived they put us in a private room...made it easy for all of us to talk back & forth. Our waitress, Jill, was efficient, friendly, accommodating for a party of 10! The menu offered great choices for everyone! We had shrimp, pasta, ribs, crab legs, steak along with appetizers, salad, desserts, etc. All agreed they liked their choices & would go back again.

My steak was overcooked and was a poor quality cut. Although I ordered a ribeye, the lump of beef that was served to me was not recognizable as a rib eye. It was hard to cut and extremely hard to chew. Although I had ordered it medium rare, it was cooked between medium and medium well.

Our server was obsessed with taking things away from us before we were done with them. She took my ice tea spoon away immediately, leaving me nothing to use to stir sweetener into my tea. She tried to take our bread before we were done with it, and when we asked her to leave it, she took the butter away. She failed to refill our beverages in a timely manner, but could not wait to whisk away each and every item she determined we were no longer using.

The menu that was shown on Open Table was not the menu in the restaurant.
There were limited choices and the waiter was brand new. he was very nice and trying very hard but he was new.
The food was mediocre and there were no good fish options as was shown on line. Meg Leiser

The staff was wonderful but unfortunately I ordered the ribs which were tough & not very flavorful. The charge for my meal was deducted from my bill which was much appreciated. My wife enjoyed her salad with a delicious filet added to it so all was not bad

I was pleasantly surprised with this dining experience. I think the Dredge has always gotten a bit of an unfair rap. I admit I haven't been there (to eat) in years. But the food was really good, the service was great, and we had a window seat with an awesome view of the ski area. I'll definitely go back.

Server did a great job. A couple things were messed up in the kitchen and she was very accommodating. Her goal was to make it right, and she did. Food was very good, the kids liked the fact we ate on a boat, and the adults enjoyed the view.

We were excited to visit this restaurant because it looked interesting form the outside. However, the quality of the food was simply, average. On a less important, yet highly distracting note, the background "music" was possibly the worst I've ever had to suffer through while attempting to enjoy a meal. It was some sort of "vibes" or "vapor waves" repetitive, drivel that undermined rather than enhanced our dining experience. We were all wondering why the management would chose this form of music, when more appropriate historic music, fitting the time and theme of the restaurant, is available.

Some of the poor reviews made us skeptical, but we wanted to try it because it was a restaurant on the water. Not sure what others were talking about because we thoroughly enjoyed everything! The staff was friendly, service was great, food was delicious (the filet was oh so tender and tasty). We had a great experience and would definitely go again!

This has become our default dining option in Breckenridge. Unique location in the middle of the river is hard to beat. Kid friendly but still offering good options for the parents as well. A bit pricey, but not out of the realm of reasonable for quality of the food.

Wow! What a change! I tried not to come here but friends made me. My last experience was a lot like the ones before me. Turns out, place is under new (and active) management. The GM completely altered a dish to suit my friend’s new veganism, and I crushed what was probably the best filet in my lifetime.

Previous regime’s drink menu looked like it came off a liquor rep’s promo flyer. New drink menu is well-thought and features classics for all palettes.

I’m excited to come back when they rehaul the menu.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We have certain eateries we must hit when we are in town. We ventured out to a new place to see what it was all about. Overall, booking online was a plus. The food was good, servings small for the price paid. Service was not good, we asked for water a few times and finally got a refill near the end of our meal. We presented our owner discount card when the bill came and the waiter said he could not use it because his manger was not there. Really, no one on sight can do this discount? If so that's not a well run operation. Overall disappointed, not really planning on coming back or adding this to our must eat list.
