Was a wonderful lunch with atmosphere that’s top notch! Our hostess was friendly and very welcoming and our waitress Victoria was fantastic. The tea and food was wonderful and plentiful. A wonderful experience ❤️

I booked High Tea for my daughter my mom and my sister as a special girls day. It did not disappoint! Lovely afternoon where we all were spoiled - decadent meal, delicious, excellent portion size. Very generous and so fresh! This was our first time, but certainly not the last.

This was such a great experience, the room for High Tea is beautiful, the ambiance makes the experience. The food was all delicious, the tea was perfect. Staff were fantastic! Thank you for making our honeymoon celebration extra special!

Service was superior and food was plentiful although cucumber and salmon triangles had bread that was quite dry. Scones, sweets and avacado cracker were super - we couldn’t finish and had to doggy bag some some. Server was Uber attentive!

There are 2 issues we had, one being the sandwiches provided- we did not think spicy avocado on a cracker would even be considered a sandwich and smoked salmon, not a traditional sandwich type. The other issue was the scones,..you did not offer a choice between plain or raisin/apricot which 2 out 4 us only eat plain. The tea was delicious and we enjoyed the service but disappointed with the food.

I have had afternoon tea all over Ontario and I was very dissapointed with the food here. Although the scone was outstanding, the sandwiches were the worst I have ever had. The dense bread was terrible but it was the lack of flavour that killed the experience. The avacado toast had a generic taste, not displeasing, but the bread used was terribly stale. The croissant would have been nice except for the lack of any complimenting sauce, butter, mayonnaise...anything, really. I was dissapointed with the quality of cheese, as well. The desserts were fine.

This place is always wonderful. This time was no different.

This was our first time doing High Tea at Prince of Wales hotel, and I must say that the experience was wonderful! The food was delicious and the tea was steaped just right! The service was excellent and the atmosphere delightful. We will definitely come back again! Thank you!

It wasn't very good , the first time we went the food was much better . It was sloppy put together, not worth the money at all.

Too much food for one, many take away leftovers. Order 1 and share.

High tea was a huge disappointment. High tea should have finger sandwiches not buns! The fillings were scarce. Way too much bready buns! As well you should serve the milk in a little jug not plastic creamers. The same with the butter, jam etc. Not classy
Service was excellent but a shame that these poor waitresses had to serve this food. As well get them nice uniforms- they were so old and tattered looking.

Two issues with the food......on the website the menu states a selection of finger sandwiches, so was expecting small dainty triangles or mini pieces of bread....
Instead we received bread rolls (ciabatta, multigrain etc), cut in half that were rather dry..
The pot of tea served was very hot....but very weak.....we could, I suppose, have complained and asked for another pot, but we didn’t....
The overall experience was nice.....

Overall nice experience. The only thing could be done better is I mentioned in the reservation that we were celebrating anniversary so they could have made it special for us in some way. I was expecting better seating to celebrate a momentous occasion but it was an average usual experience. Server was very polite and attentive.

We wanted to give our out of town guests a memorable event. This was perfect. Too much food for the four of us. Great the next morning for breakfast. Thank you

High tea at the Prince of Wales was amazing! A wide selection of great teas, and generous amounts of delicious food. Plus, the service was amazing – attentive but not intrusive – and the atmosphere is beautiful! Top notch!

Took my mum for brunch for a surprise thank you. It was a huge hit! My mum is English and found this was a better tea than the one she had back in England a few years ago. Now that's saying something!

My wife and I recently took our friend to The Drawing Room for High Tea to celebrate her 70th birthday. The food and service were exceptional. My only complaint would be the tea could have been hotter. I didn’t mention it at the time as I didn’t want to spoil the experience. Also my friend asked to purchase the tea she had which I believe was Heavenly Cream. It was sold out but hostess suggested going online to order. I have since gone on line and the tea isn’t listed. Wonderful choice of teas and different options for foid

The high tea was quaint, the decor was elegant, the item contents were described, and it was served quickly.

Food that came out had avocado on the sandwiches. My mom is allergic to them and they had no problem giving out a new tier of food with different sandwiches! They also found a tea that was not on the menu and gave it to us. Shannon was amazing and very helpful. Was such a great time!

It had been 10 years since we had had the opportunity to have tea at the Prince of Wales, but it was worth the wait. I appreciate all the herbal tea options that have been added, and the restaurant's continuing respect for tradition, paired with some "updates" -- lovely sandwiches and sweets, but with croissant variant too, for example. In a hurried world of grab and go and plastics, it is nice to take the time to relax for some chit chat amid linen and china tea cups, and just to "smell the roses."

Brook, our server was lovely, friendly, communicative and provided just the right amount of attentiveness. Thank you, Brook.

My wife and I had an amazing time enjoying High Tea in The Drawing Room. Great food, great ambiance, and great service – especially from Shannon, who went out of her way to ensure we had vegetarian options to enjoy and made us feel right at home the entire time. A special experience that we'd recommend to others.

Only complaint was a group near us were fairly loud. Was hard for us just to relax. Certainly not the Tea Rooms fault

My sister, aunt and I really enjoyed our first High Tea experience.
Our server, Victoria, was excellent! She was very sweet, knowledgeable and all around wonderful at her job.
The scones were out of this world as was the lavender shortbread. We did feel that the cucumber sandwiches were missing cream cheese and there were no deviled eggs on our tray (that were listed on the menu as part of the tea service).
We really enjoyed our time and the experience was very memorable.

My friend and I had a wonderful day in Niagara-on-lake for her birthday celebration! The Afternoon tea at the Prince of Wales was amazing! The hotel’s interior was stunning with so much history.

The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and caring. They were very helpful and went the extra mile when they knew it was my friends birthday. The tea it’s self was delicious and beautiful presented. We enjoyed the different flavours of our teas, we both bought a tin each to enjoy at home.

This is a lovely way to celebrate any occasion! Thank you again.

We love going to the drawing room for high tea! Definitely recommend the Heavenly Cream tea! It compliments the food so nicely! We have been there about 4 times and each visit has been wonderful!
