The Dog & Cask
Our approachable seasonal cuisine is presented in an array of small plates, house-made charcuterie and main dishes. We make all pasta on premises. We also offer traditional pub fare with our own twist.
Our innovative bar program offers vintage and modern cocktails crafted with small batch spirits and house made infusions. We take special pride on our Barrel Aged Cocktail Program. We specialized on craft beer and we always have cask conditioned ale on tap. We offer over 30 different wines by the glass and for something different try our Prosecco on draft next time you visit!

The waffles were delicious although you can tell the guy who they had making the waffles and omelets was inexperienced.
Good date spot!
Not our first time there. Has never disappointed us. Will definitely return.
Always a great dinner and customer experience.
This is a great place for a date or for a family party. The food is great, and the service very good. We will be back
We visited for trivia hosted by Bolero Snort. A fun time, and tasty food from a good quality pub menu. Had hoped for more Bolero Snort on tap (three options, two IPAs) but the selection of beers was otherwise excellent and varied.
We really enjoy this place! There are so many chains around us and relatively few unique restaurants to go to that are actually good. This place is one of the best!
My family and I went for my sisters 27th birthday celebration. We had a great time! We made reservations prior. The table was set up for us (party of 11) and the server was very attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious. The ambiance was modern/rustic. Highly recommend it.
The staff was attentive. The restaurant has a sports bar/ pub atmosphere and was a little loud, but not too bad. The menu has lots of options and will be great for groups.
Waited to long for service and food
Birthday celebration brunch.
I've driven by Dog and Cask at least 50 times and always wanted to try it, I was pleasently surprised by the food options as well as the drinks menu. I wouldn't say it was pricey but at the same time I didn't feel like I was breaking the bank, so that happy middle option is where this resides.
Really enjoyed our meal here. Great cocktail and food selection. Excellent, attentive service. Enjoyed my Negroni. The rice balls and scallops were very good. Nice portions of very tasty food.
Again, a great meal and experiences, customer service is tops!
Went out with the family for a dinner together...the food was excellent, and the service matched. A little trouble with the AC made it a touch warm inside, but not enough to overcome the good time we were having. Great place, fun drink menu and really good food!
Noisy even for an early dinner. Food was nothing special but not bad. Priced reasonably.
Great menu! We went for brunch and the almond crusted French toast was amazing! Friendly and prompt wait staff- a little pricey but I feel that the selection of food made it worth the price. If I lived closer, I’d definitely go back often!!!!
Excellent service. Food was delicious and menu items were unique.
Always a great stop, beer, food and service exception
This is our 2nd time there and the food was delicious! However, the service one our first visit was exceptional but tonight was almost bad! It was not busy, not sure where the problem was.
We had dinner with another couple following attendance at a baseball game in NY. The restaurant was quiet as expected at 5PM on a Sunday. Food, mixed drinks, and beer selections were all good. Only minor issue was the fact that they could not supply my first, second, and third picks for red wine by the glass. I was told they had run out of most reds. I switched to a porter, which was good. Overall, the restaurant is a good pick for a casual dinner.
The service was very poor, and the food actually made us ill.
Have eaten here several times in the past but only had the burger. Tonight I asked for a recommendation special and the waiter advised on the shaved ribeye sandwich. Meal arrived and I took a few bites of the salty beef jerky. I told the waiter it was not edible and not to my liking and to replace it with the burger. After a few minutes the waiter arrived to say he put in the burger order but could only discount the salty beef jerky sandwich. I was astonished and asked to be enlightened on this matter. The response was his manager told him to relay that this salty beef jerky was a special. Upon my request to speak to the manager I was again astonished to hear a similar reply. The manager explained that specials are crafted to the tastes of their clientel by their award winning beef jerky master chef. Now I went to culinary school back in the 90's and we weren't preparing beef jerky outside of say charcuterie class. After brief argument the manager said whatever I'll remove your salty beef jerky sandwich but only this time. Oh what a stand-up guy! The best part is they left the salty beef jerky in my face, well 30 minutes later it's sitting on the table and the waiter stated he's not allowed to remove it and doesn't know what's going on. Great place, right? Happy anniversary to me and my pregnant wife ( and no this was not a planned dinner). Update as I'm writing the waiter came over to apologise a few times stating he just started here and what went on earlier was do to his marching orders and he doesn't agree what the manager is preaching. Bon Appetit!
My only complaint was that I didn't get the entree I ordered, and while I was told the steak was medium rare it was over cooked for my taste, partially because the steak was unevenly cut.
Service was also a little spotty
Great service and good food
Went for the Mother's day special buffet, so it may not be indicative of how things are normally. Everything was great though. I'm not usually a fan of buffets, but this was very good. Will return for a regular meal and drinks!
Went for Mother's Day Brunch. The food and selections were great. Will go again!!
My wife and I have been to the Dog & Cask for dinner by ourselves, with our children, with friends and Mother's Day brunch with family. It's one of our favorite places. The food is great. The beer selection is top-notch. We always enjoy ourselves.
Loved decor. Food was great. Waitress kept disappearing
We Went for Mother's Day Brunch! I have never been and was very impressed. The drinks came out quick, and the cocktail that the meal came with was not 'light on the booze' for an included beverage. The food was constantly being refilled and refreshed, I never saw a close to empty tray. For a special occasion that often can have moderately tasting food and service, that was not the case at Dog and Cask! The food was fresh, tasted great, had a nice variety of breakfast and lunch menu items, and the french toast was amazing!
The wait staff was attentive and on point! The dirty dishes on the table never sat for more than a 2 minutes before they were cleared, and always asked to ensure we were done.
I would highly recommend it!
Mother’s Day Brunch was outstanding. The staff was so nice and all the food was fresh, warm and tasted great. Thanks for a great brunch! We will be back to try dinnerZ
Had a great time being here! The atmosphere was energetic.....craft beers were a plus and great food.
Great place for casual night out.
Perfect place for a friend get together! Needed a casual reasonably priced restaurant in between Morristown area and Montvale and Dog and Cask fit the bill perfectly!
The food was delicious, we had an issue at brunch, but was rectified right away. Staff was extremely friendly and our service was great. Would definitely recommend the brunch as well as dinner.
Calamari app very tender and sauce was delicious for dunking bread in! Duck confit sandwich and shepherds pie flavorful and would order again. Drinks were slow to arrive but food served timely. A good value and will go again.
Amazing food and cool cocktails
I took my family of 11 to the D&C for the Easter brunch and was very pleased. The food offering was very good, everything from omelets to sliced pork. Everyone, including the kids found things they liked to eat. We will definitely be back again for dinner or lunch
The service was great and the waiter was very personable and friendly! Would absolutely recommend.
