My absolute favorite place to eat in all of the OC. The chef and staff strive to make each dining experience a special one. We brought our guest from out of the country and she was thoroughly pleased with not just the lamb but the ambiance and service. We love The Dock.

The Dock's ambience is wonderful . We were shown to a table right on the water (we'd indicated it was a special occasion for us.) The lobster bisque was very good. The halibut entree was quite good but the duck breast was bland and uninteresting. Presentation of food was lovely and the service was good. This is not an inexpensive meal and I clearly felt that the experience was not a good value on this particular evening. While we may return another time, I could not recommend The Dock to discerning friends based on this experience.

We selected "The Dock" to celebrate my Wife's Birthday after recommendations from her Son and others. We were looking for someplace local, with good atmosphere, quiet, good menu with great food, and an attentive friendly staff. We found all that at "The Dock". We'll be back!

The Dock is a little gem situated on the water of the Newport Bay. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the wines and menu and the ambiance is wonderful. Usually, I have the rack of lamb which is one of the specialties and is fantastic. On the last visit, I had the filet mignon and it was one of the best I'd ever had, if not the best. The wines are quite pricey but the experience at The Dock is well worthwhile.

We had the best dining experience at The Dock on Friday night. The ambience was warm and inviting and we had a beautiful view of the harbor.

The food was absolutely amazing! I won’t go into every dish, but the general consensus from our table (and my own experience) was that every dish was delicious and had so many layers of flavors. We loved the roasted baby beet salad and the Spanish Octopus –so tender and flavorful, and the fish of the day – a tender and delicious halibut with risotto. Our meal was paired with some of the best wines we have tasted.

The staff was exquisite and we all said it was the best service we’ve ever had in a restaurant. Our servers Erik and Danielle were the best – so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Truly first class service and overall wonderful experience.
