Went here as part of DineLA. The tuna poke app was promising(nice portion, tasty), then it all went downhill. My noodles were so sugary sweet and the lemongrass chicken skewers were tiny. The three of them put together was maybe 1/2 a chicken breast. My friend very much disliked her salmon kale salad. She said the dressing(in which her salad was swimming) was weirdly sweet and the piece of salmon was literally half the size of a post it. The dessert was chocolate mousse. It was super dry and dense. It was like it was old and exposed to air.
The ambiance is nice. Our server was great and friendly.
Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but I feel like the whole point of DineLA is to entice you to come back as a regular. I've done that with a bunch of places I've sampled via DineLA. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I'd never want to chance it again.

this is our new fave place. its the first time we ate there. i loved the ambiance, the service was good. they’re accomodating & friendly but not always in your face which i like. if you’re gonna eat there try their grilled crab appetizer & the lobster with noodle that one is the bomb!! we’ll go back again soon

Two Australians on holiday with limited time in LA, decided to go here for a nice dinner. When we arrived we overheard the waiter apologising for a mix up to the couple next to us (everyone is entitled to make mix up right?...) We cut the waiter some slack and he took our order. An hour went by and we were served a dish we didn’t order. When the plate was put down we advised it wasn’t what we had ordered, he agreed, left the dish there and was went to check on our meals with the kitchen, to discover our meals were not only not made they couldn’t remember what we ordered and had to ask us again. We were apologised to and told we would get a free drink to componensate, however the waiter went off then came back and had to ask again what we were drinking. I watched whilst he was made my drink from a distance and saw he put a straw in it and tasted it, when I received the drink it wasn’t even what I had ordered. Whilst we were waiting for our meals a new group entered and who I believe to be the manager asked the couple next to us to get up and move chairs to make room for the new group (the same couple who had issues with receiving the wrong meals. ) The new group overheard our waiter apologising for the mix ups we were having, and just like us they shrugged their shoulders and said ‘it happens’ and gave them the benefit of the doubt. They ordered their drinks and about 30 mins later they still didn’t have them, the waiter came out with one of our meals and I started to eat as by this stage I was starving. The other meal came out about 20 mins later so we both ate seperately. By this stage the group next to us we’re getting fed up and the waiter had to ask them again what drinks they had ordered. I don’t know if they were short staffed (it didn’t appear to be overly busy maybe 5 tables to attend to) or just having a really bad night but we were so disappointed, particularly because we chose to go here over some A-List restaurants.

several of the beers were not available. most of the dishes we shared were ok, but not exceptional in any way.

First time but not the last time! Five of us (four having been born and raised in Saigon) had a great dinner. Ask for James M as your waiter and request that he make suggestions. Everything was our favorite - noodles, short ribs, grilled octopus, etc. Sat in front outdoor area and everything was great. We'll be back!

Poor service, quality of some of the food was questionable. When I bite into the candied shrimp appetizer, the shrimp was mushy- alluding to shrimp that went bad but was disguised with sauce and a skewer... my husband’s espresso was actually 1/2 of a lukewarm coffee, not espresso. We asked for a replacement and a real espresso was presented. I would not go back. We paid $18 for 5 small shrimp on a skewer smothered in sauce...
