Food was good not great - fire alarm goes off in middle of dinner all had to leave dinning room. Let back in but never told what happened. No one covered food or offered to heat it. Waiter was slow I asked what was the problem and his answer was we don't want to rush you. I said thanks but it's been a long time and we would like our food. We observed he seemed to be the only waiter for over 10 tables.
Always a treat coming here: like being on vacation!!
Went for brunch to celebrate mine and my mother’s birthdays, we sat on the patio on a warm October day, it was beautiful. Food & cocktails were excellent. We definitely recommend the cheese board.
This was our first visit to the Dining Room. We sat on the patio overlooking the marina and river. The ambience was lovely.
The food was good but not great. I had the sturgeon caviar and it was a bit light on the caviar. My main course was sea scallops and, while they were tasty, the plate was mostly shredded jicama-rhubarb.
The service was pretty good and the evening overall was enjoyable. I might give it a second chance but it's not at the top of my list.
Our breakfast entrees were excellent. The coffee was good and hot. The view is always lovely.
The waitresses work very hard.
My husband and I tried Molly Pitcher for the first time and were not disappointed. The food and the service was excellent. We at outside and enjoyed the view.
Always a great experience, however, this visit the food came out cold and our waiter wasn’t very attentive. The hostesses were young and inexperienced.
Great food and the service was excellent. The view was stunning!
Molly Pitcher Inn is one of my favorite places to dine. My friends and I often meet for lunch because we enjoy everything about the dining experience
Gorgeous view from patio of the marina and ocean. Inside of restaurant equally beautiful. Server was attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful with dietary constraints and need for quick service due to show we were attending at Count Basie Theater. Food was so-so especially considering prices which were consistent with 4 Star restaurant. Portion sizes were not large; my husband had the grouper with black bean cake which he said had delicious sauce but piece of fish was small. My 4 diver scallops were perfectly seared but only came with jicama and rhubarb salad — no other sides. Asked for rose risotto instead of salad with scallops but rice was hard and not creamy in texture like a risotto. Side of asparagus had “stalky” bottoms which were inedible but otherwise okay. Our friends liked the Apple cobbler with vanilla gelato; my mango and vanilla gelato was just okay, not anything special. Overall the food was not memorable and portions were skimpy so value for price was not there. Ambience and service partially made up for mediocre food.
Beautiful water view with elegant table settings and delicious food! A+
Kristin was a great server and very entertaining and knowledgeable and made great recommendations
Service very slow and food was just OK
Food was very good. Service was okay as they were very busy. Can get same menu items for less elsewhere. You pay for view.
The view is great. That's why we go plus its never crowded. Service is very good. It's clean. My only negative is that they serve the same food repeatedly. It would be great to have some variations once in a while.
My husband ordered the Filet Migon ordered it medium well not butterfly ccooked, came back Butterfly cooked with fat, won’t go back, everything else was great.
First waiter neglected to bring my wine. I complained a new waitress took over and then brought the wrong drink to me. A busboy brought over our dinner rolls and plopped them in front of me in my place setting. The chicken pot pie was wonderful as always. I called ahead and was told there would be valet parking. There was not. Our waitress turned out to be fine but this act has to get together
We picked a perfect night for enjoying an outdoor dining experience. The views were beautiful and our waiter - Gorge was wonderful , attentive and nice to talk to !!! We ordered shrimp cocktail and a salad to share with the crab cake entree (excellent) and grouper( very good). Bottle of Chardonnay reasonable- would recommend especially when enjoyed outdoors ! To note, we did have an earlier dinner reservation (5:00)so it was very relaxed and not as busy or crowded. As we where leaving the place was filling up !
Food was excellent as usual and Ashley made our evening fun too!
Good food, easy parking, nice location, nice staff.
We love this restaurant! We chose to eat indoors, where the level of quietness was wonderful! The food was delicious, and we had a lovely waiter too.
a great dining experience!
The food was fantastic.
The service was not great.
Loved the meal , service & ambiance!
Good food, beautiful view, and very friendly service
As always classy delicious worth it.
Always love this place. Limited menu but everything is delicious.
Had dinner outside on the patio overlooking the river and marina. Food and service were excellent.
The food was excellent. I think the poor service was because of Covid and the lack of help. There was only one waitress and one bus boy in the dining room. I have eaten here on numerous occasions and never had problems with service.
The appetizers, main course, and dessert were very delicious. It’s a limited menu but it was an excellent meal. The AC must have not been working fully since there was a fan in the room. We requested a table by the window and we called to confirm during the day, however, all the tables by the window were taken. So that was disappointing since it was a special occasion. We would go back because the food was amazing.
It's a gorgeous dining room, and our server, Magda, was just wonderful in every way. She deserves a raise and a lot of recognition for her hard work and kindness.
Other than that, the owners should be embarrassed: it was over 90 degrees outside, and their air conditioner was not working!!!! Naturally, they did not tell us that until we were settled in, and asked to have the room cooled down a bit. Shame on them for expecting their guests to sit in that oven to pay the prices we had to pay.
The food was aggressively average... if it even made it to the level of average.
Anniversary dinner, ambiance, service and food all excellent!
The Experience was superb for local summer fun.
An Anniversary dinner on a rainy evening. All was good, and even though the view was not optimal, the experience was nice.
We had an absolute wonderful time my fiance and I. The staff made a special night even more special a night that we will always remember!
The food the ambiance is always top notch. Having the piano player back is awesome. The choice of outside, inside or the bar area for seating makes you feel like your always welcomed. Pot pie and shrimp are always tasty!
It’s a must try again and again!
It was indicated on Open Table that dining would be outdoors only. Upon arrival, we were told breakfast is not served outside even though I expressed that my child has immune issues and I did not want her eating indoors. Wait staff was also not wearing masks even with high transmission rate in Monmouth county.
Peaceful and pleasant outdoor setting, poor service, food not as described. Though crab cake itself was exceptional, accompanying salad was not as described on the menu, and oyster appetizer contained oysters so small you could barely barely see or taste them! A party of three, we found service so neglectful that we were there well over two hours. Thankfully, the outdoor setting on a beautiful warm and breezy night made the long wait bearable.
Delicious breakfast - not too big, not too small! Great atmosphere/view. Hotel lounge was roomy with full bar. Highly recommend a stay - well be back!
Very disappointed in the lobster
Roll sandwich-absolutely no taste…& very pricey!
