A friend mentioned they were there and I hadn't been at the Molly for quite a while. Will go back and take guests. The food was delicious for a pre theater friends get together visit.
My wife and I just went to Molly Pitcher for our 37th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely time! The view was tremendous, the dining room was classy, the service was great and the food was exquisite.
Lovely view, delicious breakfast. They have some very creative items. Having it served beautifully on white table cloths and with good silverware always makes spending a bit more for breakfast a good value for me.
The dining room is never crowded, service is perfect, food is delicious. Brunch is the best. Views are amazing.
The ambiance is elegant. I love the fact that there are still some restaurants like this, if I want to be able to hear the conversation my friends and I are having. Not too many quite this classy. The waiter, Nelson, is a professional and was in excellent humor. It was lovely, the food was beautiful as well as delicious. I took a photo of my scallops, but all the dishes were presented beautifully. There was also plenty of food.
I had dinner here with family for a birthday. The food was excellent as was the service. Would recommend for an upscale dining experience.
Had dinner with my wife for our one year wedding anniversary and the atmosphere was just as romantic and amazing as our wedding was one year earlier. The food was the same as our wedding which was awesome. I highly recommend for weddings and anniversary parties.
Outstanding- Jorge, our server, was perfect. Attentive but not over bearing, professional and courteous.
Views of the Navesink are unsurpassed for Red Bank
Fantastic as always.
Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and foid, ambiance, and most important --- our waiter Nelson was fantastic, thank you for making our night special!!!
Excellent food and wine selections. Great service from Nelson. Spent 5 hr enjoying the evening with close friends from Nevada.
Had a lovely dinner for my Fiancé’s bday. Even managed to surprise him with dessert. Everything was delicious but my fiancé mentioned his steak was a little tough. Aside from that everything was excellent. Even managed to accommodate my fussy 6 and 9 yr old kids.
A good restaurant experience requires a lot of pieces to fall together. The Molly Pitcher knows how to provide a wonderful experience. The service is excellent, our server Haille (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was probably the best I have had in any restaurant in NJ.
The food was very good we had the Tilefish and the Scallops with the Crab Cakes and Burrata Salad as appetizers both very good. The menu is relatively small and its a seasonal menu so it may not have enough selections for some but what we had was excellent
The view of the river is very nice and you are not rushed, this is dining rather then eating dinner
The restaurant is a bit priier then many but not out of line with the quality provided. We will certainly be back because there are things on the menu we would like to try
Lovely restaurant. Food was great. Wonderful view!
Food was good but nothing warranting their high prices.
Our waitress did not like her tip and almost hit my husband with the bill fold.
While the atmosphere and staff were wonderful and the food was presented very well, both of our dishes were not up to par; the veal chop, ordered medium, was very dry (over cooked) and the beef short ribs were dry and not as tasty as should be.
The food and the service was outstanding. This was our first time eating here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat.
The service was perfect. We were not rushed to order our meal and were able to have a conversation while enjoying a pre dinner cocktail.
The entrees were served after we finished our appetizer. We were not rushed.
The dishes were not only creative but delicious. I had a lamb shank that was stripped of the meat and served asa pot pie.
Celebrated a friend's birthday with lunch at the Molly Pitcher - quiet, elegant, overlooking the Navesink River. Good wait staff, food was good - I am a vegetarian so they made a special meal for me.
Can't say enough good things if you're looking for a quiet, intimate setting. We were able to sit and talk for as long as we wanted and really had a great afternoon.
This is one of our favorite special occasion places to go. On our anniversary last year we even stayed over night and it was lovely. The dinners are wonderful and the breakfast was exceptional.. The beauty of sitting near the river and dining in such a lovely place is always enjoyable. This is our 5th time there and we will certainly be back.
It is always a pleasure to have Hallie as our waitress. She makes us feel like family. Excellent food, as always, and beautiful view. Piano music from the bar is always a welcome plus
Excellent food and service but the lights were a bit too bright.
The atmosphere is lovely and if you get there by 11:30-12, you can get a table by the window. Actually, the view through the large windows is beautiful from any table.
We started with Manhattan clam chowder which was very good. Next we had chicken pot pie which was delicious. Lunch was quite relaxing and we’d definitely return.
We went with friends and the service was excellent.....the food very good.....enjoyed the quiet so you could have conversations and not repeat because it was to noisy...the piano in the background was a nice touch.Highly recommend!!
New Year’s Day lunch
We were all very disappointed with the extremely limited menu. We arrived at 6:20 PM and were told they were out of duck already, which left 8 entrees to choose from. We asked that the manager come to the table, which he did, but was not very accommodating at all, plus he NEVER came back to the table to check on us. Extremely disappointing evening all around. Soup was tasteless and veal shank disappointing. Not worth $305.00 for 4 people
Birthday lunch celebration with dear friends was delightful.
Calm, serene dining room with outstanding waterfront view, nice menu, reasonable prices, excellent food quality, service and presentation. Has stood the test of time for all the right reasons.
Food preparations were beyond the chef's skills. Lamb shank presentation was ambitious , but awkward
My husband and I invited dear friends to be our guests for dinner; as always, everything was perfect....great atmosphere, great views, great service, great libations and an absolutely delicious meal! We have enjoyed the Molly on many occasions including our son’s wedding, countless business affairs, dining with friends or romantic evenings for the two of us! This historic gem continues to satisfy and delight no matter what the occasion!
The staff was exceptional very friendly . The food was delicious. The resturant was very clean could not ask for a better place to go eat at.
Our previous dining experiences had been favorable. We chose to return for dinner to celebrate my birthday. My wife is on a limited diet and has enjoyed the sea scallops in the past. She was disappointed to learn that they we no longer on the menu even though they are listed on the web page menu. The only other dish she could eat was the roasted chicken. Not very festive to say the least. I ordered my favorite, the sea food pot pie. When it was served it contained scallops!?! Very disappointed. We feel we paid a lot of money for broiled chicken rather than the "unavailable" scallops. We won't be returning. Also, we were one of only three tables occupied during dinner. One waiter and one bus person. We waited 30 minutes for our meal to be served.
Wonderful food and service. Lovely holiday atmosphere.
Fantastic experience. Start with a drink at the fabulous wood paneled bar and listen to the piano player. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Enter the beautiful dinning room with full water views and classic decor and sit at a not overly crowded table. Service was professional and attentive. Food was excellent continental cuisine at decent value. We had squash ravioli, pork belly, split a baby kale salad , duck and short ribs for entree, two drinks, cappuccino and great dessert for $150 with white gloves service. We are lucky to have such a place this close to our home as opposed to driving all he way into NYC.
The food is just not very good, please get a new chef and change the menu, it's been the same for years.
Great place for a special occasion. Outstanding service. Very elegant. Delicious food and amazing presentation. I would always recommend it.
The Molly Pitcher Inn Restaurant is a rare find in NJ. It is located in a very well maintained and elegant hotel. And the restaurant is excellent: the ambience beautiful, the service so classy and the food was extremely delicious. Our server Johnathon was the best!
My group of 8 went there for our seasonal get together and were very happy with all features of the restaurant. We ordered different dishes, including the three course special, and we all agreed it is definitely a restaurant to revisit.
Our experience at The Molly Pitcher Inn was everything we thought it would be and more, amazing. Food and service was great, staff was helpful and the place itself was clean and inviting. We love Red Bank and visiting and hope to be at the Molly Pitcher Inn again for a great meal and next time for a long stay.
Jonathan our waiter was excellent. The food was delicious.
We went during restaurant week so our meals were a good value for us. Service and food were excellent. My only complaint was that there was no chocolate dessert on the prix fix menu. I noticed that the regular menu is very limited, there is also a bar menu.
