We had a lovely time. It was our anniversary. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our experience!!

Our meal here was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Every person we encountered, once we checked in, called us by name and remembered it was our anniversary. Our main waiter, Elijah, was so friendly and helpful and answered all our questions about the menu. He catered to us and once he asked a question he never forgot the answer! He remembered what things I said I liked and did not and hand picked my wine for all the courses.

We ordered the 3 course meal, but we received 3 additional treats from the chef! We received a starter of the she-crab soup (surprisingly delicious...even my seafood hating husband took a second sip), along with some palate cleansers.

The ambiance was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Chihuly package. Breakfast was by far my favorite, but the supper we had for my friends birthday was superb! Service was friendly, and answered any questions we had. We unfortunately missed the Night show due to rain but the concierge Ann was more than helpful! We will be back soon, and are sure to recommend to others. Thanks Biltmore Inn

Great attention to detail. Every detail was apparent. I had the salmon which was excellent. Not over cooked and presented perfectly. My wife had the lobster which she loved. Top notch restaurant.

Atmosphere was great. Service was outstanding. The food was just OK. We got the filet with lobster tail. My wife's lobster tail was not cooked enough and my lobster tail was mushy. I would probably try some other Biltmore restaurants before going back here.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner in quiet and elegant but also casual surroundings. My wife had the lamb and I the duck on their three course menu. Both were prepared perfectly and we savored every bite. But it was just not the food that was so special but also the service. Scott was amazing as was his assistant Conner. Very polished and impeccable service. We truly had a lovely dining experience lasting over 2 1/2 hours and enjoyed every moment. A great wine list by the way!

The food and service were great. The chefs preparation and presentation of plates were out of this world and the desserts were to die for. The overall quality of the dinner was Michaelan three star. I will definitely go back again.

Worth every penny to dine at this exceptional restaurant on the Biltmore Estate. Guests are treated like Vanderbilts. By the excellent staff. The ambience is special as well as the menu. Highest expectations fulfilled.

A truly special meal in a fabulous elegant setting. The portions were small but excellent. The service was outstanding. My only suggestion would be to be aware of the ‘uplift’ charge when ordering specific dishes on the prix fix dinners... it was a complete surprise to us that we’d each paid an extra $15.00 for our tiny salad etc... the menu really should make it clear.

Took my wife to Asheville for the weekend for our anniversary. I did some research for romantic / special occasion dinners when I found The Inn. It was better than I had hoped for. The staff was awesome, the food was incredible, and the views were breath taking.

I was impressed that a day before the reservation I was called and asked whether anyone in my party had allergies. Although this was a nice touch when we got there they didn’t ask who had allergies and only had 2 people down when I said three. The food was not prepared as requested. Some of the dishes were delicious. The vegetable portions were ridiculously small. Our waiter was not up to white glove standards.

The Dining Room was elegant in a beautiful setting; the service was impeccable and the food superb. We chose the 3 course option and purchased a separate wine pairing. Our sever made the wine selections and the choices were perfect. It was one if the best meals we have ever had. Hope to return to Biltmore in the not too distant future.

We were going to the Dining Room for our 20th anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess who seemed a little annoyed. We had requested a window seat with a view and were willing to change our reservation time to accommodate their availability, but they ensured us that it wouldn’t be a problem. Well, we were seated, but not by a window. Kind of a bummer.... our waiter, Luke (I think) was wonderful! A+ We each got the 3 course meal and thoroughly enjoyed the food however, we ended up going to the bar for another meal after the dinner because we both were still hungry!! Food presentation was nice, just not much food at all. Then we got the bill....almost $300, $360 with tip....if I had to do it over again, we would just have gone to Cedric’s at the village. Kind of a bummer.

I have never felt the need to write a bad review until now. We were excited to celebrate our fathers special birthday and ready to spend some money on what we thought would be a special meal. The food was just terrible. The waiter was pushing all of the extras to increase the bill and the service was mediocre at best. What a disappointment...

If you like your food to taste like a salt stick or something that was soaked in salt brine for a week before being served, this is for you. I'll never return, nor recommend this dining facility to anyone.

Perfect portions of delicious food and impeccable service (thank you, Laura and Desmond). She-crab soup was delicious (and contained sherry gel, so no need for added sherry unless you are a big sherry fan), flavors of spring was beautiful and delicious. Filet's were generously portioned and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Creative take on creme brûlée for dessert. Overall, pricey, but perhaps the best fine-dining experience in Asheville.

Another outstanding meal at The Dining Room. I took my wife there for a 1st anniversary dinner and we were greeted by a friendly staff, fantastic food, and impeccable service from our wait staff. They always have a wide-ranging selection of seasonal items as well as some things you probably have not eaten but should try. This will not be our last meal here. Always a 5-star experience...

Excellent food and service. Again it's menu is interesting and the dishes are presented beautifully. Wine list could be a little more diversified with also wines at a more reasonable price without reducing the quality. It is always a pleasure.

Beautiful and quiet dining room with a view. I have a mixed review on the food. Loved the carrot soup in demi tase - the highlight of the meal. Appetizers were salty - both the romaine salad and lamb; entrees were sparse on the vegetable sides so the filet looked tiny on the big plate - 3 tiny asparagus tips and 1/4 cup mashed potatoes so that was a bit surprising. Desserts were great. Friendly, talkative waiters and attentive water fillers. Cost was comparative to Ruth Chris but their food was better.

This dining room has great view. The table setting was perfect. The service was impeccable. One course would come right on the heels of the next. The chef offers wonderful tastes of different foods between the courses that are lots of fun and delicious. We had the prix fixe and had plenty to eat at a good value. It is definitely a place for a special occasion.

We have dined in many fine places, but The Dining Room at the Inn at Biltmore Estate is one of the very best. Our server was knowledgeable and professional. It was my wife's birthday celebration and the entire staff wished her a happy birthday as they encountered her. The prices are surprisingly affordable and the quality and presentation were superb.
