Truly enjoyed our dinner at the Biltmore dining room. Service was outstanding. The quality of the food was terrific. A bit pricy but it worth the experience.

Food was luke warm at best; very small portions; and very few sides worth anything. Two friends got the lamb chops, and canned garbanzo beans were the side for them. I ordered the Diver Scallops, of which I got three, too salted, lukewarm scallops with tiny portion of braised beef. VERY DISAPPOINTING for $65 + +. Creme Brulee was unrecognizable and terrible. We did not eat much of our desserts - all pretty awful; and they charged $4.00 extra for the coffee to go with the meal. Who does that for a $65 meal? I would never recommend The Dining Room to anyone. Sorry to have to give this review, but I don't want anyone else to be disappointed like all four of us were. I will say the service was very good. Thank you.

It was very disappointing when our dinners came and they were both cold! We did get new meals that were fine. This should not have been an issue at this level of restaurant.

This venue is an upscale dining experience located at The Inn at Biltmore. We were impressed from the moment we walked in and throughout the evening. They were able to accommodate my request for a table with a spectacular view. To celebrate our visit to The Inn. The service was truly outstanding and Scott made us feel very special. The decor and ambiance was exceptional. The food was good ( appetizers were exceptional...I had octopus, my husband had short ribs) while for dinner we had filet mignon and lobster tail. Dessert was also good. We we very happy with our experience here and will definitely be back during future visits.

Had Rack of Lamb. Very small and hard to get off the bone. Wife had a lobster dish with pretty much the lobster missing. Over priced for what you get. I do not mind spending $60 + for a meal if the food is good but this was not. The dinning room and the hotel are very nice. Too bad the food was not.

Wait staff was very attentive and took good care of us from beginning to end. The wine list is extensive with a wide selection of varietals and regions to choose from. Prices are reasonable for the stature of the restaurant. The food was OK, so a mild disappointment for the build up we had received. All appetizers and entrees were good but we had a higher expectations for this highly recognized establishment. Presentation of the entrees made the food look out of place. Very large plates and the food was off to the side. Made the plate look empty. Deserts were mixed, bread pudding and crème brulee were disappointing. They were not your traditional dishes and did not improve upon the same dishes we see in other restaurants. The chocolate cake was the best of the three. Dinners are all price fix, either three courses or five courses.
Haven't decided if we would return.

This is an absolute must when staying at The Inn On Biltmore Estate. Be sure to call well in advance for a reservation. Although our seating was later in the evening, we never felt rushed. Our meals were excellent! Highly recommend the risotto.
Our waiter Elijah was the consummate professional. He suggested an excellent wine and was extremely knowledgeable when answering our questions about the menu.
Incredible experience!

The Biltmore Estate just screams ELEGANT and their top of the line restaurant did not disappoint. The Dining Room was spot on with service and price point. Yes, it is expensive, but the ROI was totally worth it. The only drawback would be if you weren't staying on property, you had to purchase a ticket to enter the estate also. We will return for the food was delicious and we loved the environment.

Very expensive for a disappointing dining experience. Atmosphere, service and food presentation excellent but food was not good at all. We also ate with a group in the Library dining area and everyone complained about the food. The hotel is beautiful but they need to get the food up to par.

This review was really quite simple to do, because if I were to rate this experience on a 10 point scale then I would have to rate it an 11 or maybe a 12. Rarely, am I taken with every aspect of a restaurant. This time there is not one negative thing that I can say. The staff is so good and mannerly, you actually feel a little guilty at times, but in a very good way. The food was cooked perfectly and the selection was unique and pleasurable. The atmosphere was elegant and the views are breathtaking if the sun hasn't set yet. The dining experience is on the pricey side but no regret. We left with great memories and smiles.

My wife and I visited the Biltmore Estate for a weekend getaway. The whole experience was enjoyable, but this restaurant has to be one of the best places we've had the privilage of dining. Great ambiance. Exceptional service and great food. They really take care of their guests.

Service was outstanding. I ordered an appetizer (fois gras) and it was not good. More of a dessert. The server quickly picked up on it and got me something else. My filet was very good , but the green beans were uncooked and the mashed potatoes where delicious, but there was only 2 tablespoons. The chef was too creative and you just didn't know what you were getting. Small portions.

Elegant and very expensive but Stuffy and sterile. You have to have a ticket to the Biltmore house to get on the property if you’re not staying at one of the Biltmore hotels(?) You will not be informed of this if you make a reservation . Also a $10 valet parking charge when you’re spending over $300 for a meal for two seems inappropriate . Everything at the Biltmore estate seems absurdly overpriced nowadays

I was expecting so much more. The Dinner menu is very limited and the food at dinner was mediocre for the pricing. Although the main dining area was decorated beautifully for the Christmas season (we were beginning our holiday celebration), they continually placed us in an annexed area away from the main dining room with decorations. There were many tables empty in front of the beautiful fireplace and decorations and we were dressed in nice dress attire (many others in casual attire), however, they always placed us away from the main dining area which we were always looking at a blank stone wall. We mentioned it to them after the second meal, but yet they continued the next day with the same placement. The dinner food in the Dining Room is not great , I would recommend doing your meals on the estate at the Bistro or the Library Lounge. I did enjoy breakfast "food" but not seating. Would not return.

The service was good, the atmosphere and decor were nice. The food was disappointing. Not bad, but I really do not like the idea of deconstructed food. Some courses were better than others, however, overall, it seems like they were trying too hard. I want a Filet steak to be whole and not sliced and piled up with bits and pieces of sauces spread all over the plate and little bits and pieces of vegetables and sides. They appeared to be more garnish than actual sides. Diver scallops were excellent, however the menu listed sides were just very small bits and pieces of this and that, again garnish not actual sides. Dessert was the same, deconstructed and bits and pieces of this and that. Disappointed in the food, although the experience was nice. Service was attentive.
