The Dining Room - Biltmore Estate Ratings and Reviews
Took my wife to be Biltmore for the weekend. We had dinner here and it was incredible. Caviar for an app. Filet for dinner. Opened some nice wine. Hard to beat.
(Breakfast is also very good)
After dinner we went upstairs and sat in the Lounge and had cocktails until midnight.
The reserve wine is a must. We had a filet, that was properly cooked. It can with 1 baby carrot and a thin triangle slice of a potato no bigger than a cracker. The server recommended the brownie with melted peanut butter, which we ordered, but then it was covered in nuts which I don't eat. 😯 So that part was an expensive waste.
Amazing food, service, and ambience with great views from window seats. Meals and drinks are pricey plus factor in house admission or night in the Inn just for access and you can have a small fortune tied up in the evening. Nice splurge for a special occasion.
Above and beyond great service! Attention to detail is obvious here.
We were truly delighted with the made from scratch Gluten Free bread selection warm from the oven that we received.
My filet Mignon was perfection AND it was Estate Raised.
Love and recommend this place!
Our waiter Hank was fabulous!!! I made reservations the weekend before Valentine's day. The restaurant changed their menu that day to a price fixe (which was ok) but I couldn't find anything on the menu that I wanted. Hank said order whatever you want and we'll fix it for you. He gave me the Library menu and I ordered the Salmon over risotto which was delicious. My husband ordered off the price fixe and had the goat cheese pana cotta appetizer with the stuffed chicken. He liked both of his dishes. For dessert we had berries and a vanilla cake. Not bad.
Wonderful experience celebrating our Babymoon. Our server was Jeremy and took excellent care of us but all of the staff who waited on us were wonderful. Food was outstanding. I loved the Buttermilk and Pear dessert and we were seated right next to the fire. An extra bonus was enjoying an after dinner drink upstairs by the fire in the library lounge after dinner.
Everything was excellent! The chef does an outstanding job transforming traditional dishes into something you never would have imagined with unique presentation techniques and fabulous flavors. The staff was attentive and personable while remaining professional. Highly recommend!
The Dining Room was definitely a 5 star experience. The servers and ancillary staff did a wonderful job. Everyone was so kind and attentive. Our waiter Brandon even gave my mother a complimentary gift as we were celebrating her birthday. The food was a dream, would definitely recommend!!
We visited the Dining Room at Biltmore Inn for my fiftieth birthday, and it was just perfect. The ambiance was delightful, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed the five course meal, and the food did not disappoint. The entire experience was well worth the money.
Over a two night stay at the Biltmore Inn, we had a chance to do breakfasts, tea-time, and dinner at The Dining Room. It was all a consistently fabulous experience. Especially the tea-time was a unique experience. Not the usual tea and scones, but three courses of three to five small exotic eatables per each course. Wait staff were consistently excellent. All of it was quite worthy of the big post-Christmas splurge for us.
This experience is something you must do at least once simply to enjoy the extravagance. The meal was relatively expensive if you look at numbers alone, however the quality of the food was exquisite and the service was outstanding. We were waited on by at least 7 people for various courses and functions in addition to our primary attendant who was incredibly proficient. The braised spare rib appetizer was so tender you could cut it with a fork, the ribeye was done to perfection and served with the decadently delicious truffle whipped potatoes, and the crème brulee was an innovative twist on the traditional with the addition of pomegranate and persimmon toppings. Extra complimentary bits were slipped in between courses, including the best lobster bisque I have had in my life. As an annual Biltmore pass holder, it was a meal where I genuinely appreciated the pass holder discount, also.
