This is an absolute must when staying at The Inn On Biltmore Estate. Be sure to call well in advance for a reservation. Although our seating was later in the evening, we never felt rushed. Our meals were excellent! Highly recommend the risotto.
Our waiter Elijah was the consummate professional. He suggested an excellent wine and was extremely knowledgeable when answering our questions about the menu.
Incredible experience!

The Biltmore Estate just screams ELEGANT and their top of the line restaurant did not disappoint. The Dining Room was spot on with service and price point. Yes, it is expensive, but the ROI was totally worth it. The only drawback would be if you weren't staying on property, you had to purchase a ticket to enter the estate also. We will return for the food was delicious and we loved the environment.

Very expensive for a disappointing dining experience. Atmosphere, service and food presentation excellent but food was not good at all. We also ate with a group in the Library dining area and everyone complained about the food. The hotel is beautiful but they need to get the food up to par.

This review was really quite simple to do, because if I were to rate this experience on a 10 point scale then I would have to rate it an 11 or maybe a 12. Rarely, am I taken with every aspect of a restaurant. This time there is not one negative thing that I can say. The staff is so good and mannerly, you actually feel a little guilty at times, but in a very good way. The food was cooked perfectly and the selection was unique and pleasurable. The atmosphere was elegant and the views are breathtaking if the sun hasn't set yet. The dining experience is on the pricey side but no regret. We left with great memories and smiles.

My wife and I visited the Biltmore Estate for a weekend getaway. The whole experience was enjoyable, but this restaurant has to be one of the best places we've had the privilage of dining. Great ambiance. Exceptional service and great food. They really take care of their guests.

Service was outstanding. I ordered an appetizer (fois gras) and it was not good. More of a dessert. The server quickly picked up on it and got me something else. My filet was very good , but the green beans were uncooked and the mashed potatoes where delicious, but there was only 2 tablespoons. The chef was too creative and you just didn't know what you were getting. Small portions.

Elegant and very expensive but Stuffy and sterile. You have to have a ticket to the Biltmore house to get on the property if you’re not staying at one of the Biltmore hotels(?) You will not be informed of this if you make a reservation . Also a $10 valet parking charge when you’re spending over $300 for a meal for two seems inappropriate . Everything at the Biltmore estate seems absurdly overpriced nowadays

I was expecting so much more. The Dinner menu is very limited and the food at dinner was mediocre for the pricing. Although the main dining area was decorated beautifully for the Christmas season (we were beginning our holiday celebration), they continually placed us in an annexed area away from the main dining room with decorations. There were many tables empty in front of the beautiful fireplace and decorations and we were dressed in nice dress attire (many others in casual attire), however, they always placed us away from the main dining area which we were always looking at a blank stone wall. We mentioned it to them after the second meal, but yet they continued the next day with the same placement. The dinner food in the Dining Room is not great , I would recommend doing your meals on the estate at the Bistro or the Library Lounge. I did enjoy breakfast "food" but not seating. Would not return.

The service was good, the atmosphere and decor were nice. The food was disappointing. Not bad, but I really do not like the idea of deconstructed food. Some courses were better than others, however, overall, it seems like they were trying too hard. I want a Filet steak to be whole and not sliced and piled up with bits and pieces of sauces spread all over the plate and little bits and pieces of vegetables and sides. They appeared to be more garnish than actual sides. Diver scallops were excellent, however the menu listed sides were just very small bits and pieces of this and that, again garnish not actual sides. Dessert was the same, deconstructed and bits and pieces of this and that. Disappointed in the food, although the experience was nice. Service was attentive.

This was the second time we dined at the Biltmore Inn. The first was exceptional in terms of both service and food. The second (last Wednesday) was seriously flawed in terms of service and mediocre food. The service was exceeding slow in spite of the lack of diners at the time, was poorly performed and the explanation of the dishes was lacking. There was no advice or discussion on the wine selection. The quality of the food tended towards a bland fall taste. Overall, a disappointment and certainly not a value for the price.

We spent the day touring Biltmore and the winery then headed to The Dining Room for dinner before a concert downtown. The wait staff was excellent and our head waiter was able to provide great suggestions for wine pairings with our food. We will make this a yearly trip in the future.

Had never been to Biltmore before. Decided to come for Candlelight evening tour. Stayed at the Biltmore Inn. Had dinner at the dining room prior to our tour. Absolutely perfect! Our table was in front of the fireplace. Food was excellent. Luke was our server and he was fantastic! Had breakfast there one two occasions & had beautiful Mountain View window seats. Breakfast was such a treat. Mario was our server & he was such a delightful young man. Thank you.

Dinner was very nic, very attentive staff. My filet was not very good" especially what it cost. Food portions were very small, looked for more rolls, but only got offered one. Shrimp cocktail was excellent. Will think of going somewhere else next visit. No xmas decorations up, no excuse.

Our dinner at The Dining Room of The Inn was our last of a four day stay at Biltmore. The service was very good, however, when reviewing the "specials of the day" it was not pointed out that the special "Bone In Ribeye" was an extra $15 and it actually had less meat than the Filet Mignon, which is a finer cut of beef. One of the party of two ordered "rare" and the filet was served rare. However, the "bone in Ribeye" was ordered as medium and was served rarer than the Filet Mignon. ... We had She Crab soup at all the restaurants that served it on the estate. It was best at Village Social. At The Dining Room, once again it was not pointed out that the sherry that was offered to stir into the soup was an additional charge. .... Also, the deserts were bland and though portrayed superbly on the plate not tasty as expected. ... We do anticipate visiting Biltmore House again, but definitely will NOT be eating in The Dining Room. It's reputation in fine dining certainly did not meet our expectations for a memorable last evening.

My husband and I had dinner two nights in the dining room as well as teatime one afternoon during our stay. Every meal was special and delicious. My teatime luncheon was gluten free because of an allergy, but just as flavorful and beautiful as the items served to my husband. The wait staff were pleasant and friendly. We felt so pampered at each meal. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience at the inn!
