Our waiter Stuart was fantastic! The food and service were outstanding. Made for an extremely memorable anniversary dinner! Thank you!
Very high brow. We had an amazing experience for our birthday dinner and would recommend it for anyone looking to experience a real 4-5 star meal and restaurant.
The room was freezing with a/c blowing on my neck. Asked twice to have blower lowered but wasn’t.
We took nice clothes. Men wore coat and tie as dress code described on web site. At least 4 men were there in golf shirts and a few more in plaid shirts and no jacket. This is insulting to people who went to the trouble to mind the dress code.
The servers are very attentive, always anticipating what you might need or like. The food was outstanding and the ambiance perfect for celebrations.
Meal was excellent and service was impeccable. We came to Asheville for the mountain biking and didn't think twice of planning for food. The 5 course meal was amazing! Would highly recommend to everybody who has the opportunity to try!
We were a bit surprised by the menu thinking it was a bit limited, however the food was outstanding, the service impeccable and the views of the mountains breathtaking. I had the lamb chops, scrumptious and my hubby and the fish combo with scallops shrimp and lobster, cooked to perfection and equally yummy highly recommend
An excellent experience. Impeccable service. Fantastic food. We were seated in front of the fireplace. Such a romantic setting.
We had an amazing bday celebration. Everything was outstanding.
Good food, nice atmosphere, great views. Try it if you have a lot of $$$
Celebrating my loving wife 60th., Birthday, started by having dinner with you; our experience was simply superb across the board; service stellar, Thank you Stuart!!’
We shall return soon!’
Everything was great!
Beautiful setting. Excellent service. Creative and delicious meal
Great: options were minimal but perfect. Service is impeccable for all - server, bread, water, etc. could not have enjoyed more.
An elegant setting. Delicious foods. Our server, Danielle, was fabulous:)
It was a special getaway for my boyfriend and I to start talking future. It was the most romantic evening I have ever had. The staff were extremely attentive. The spot very cozy and peaceful. The decor exceptional and very romantic with rose’s on tables and candlelight. The food beyond amazing. Best meal both of us have ever had. By far the best date ever and the best place to go for a romantic evening away from all the distractions of life. Like Downton Abbey ( Biltmore’s sister) it was perfect escapism.
I had the halibut and my husband had the lamb chops. Both dishes and all accompaniments were delicious. The service was impeccable. The cost was what to expect from a fine restaurant with excellent food and service. Not overpriced at all. We would definitely return if we visit the Estate again.
Amazing!!! Excellent food and service !
The service was the best me and my wife have ever had and the food was phenomenal! It was a great way to end our anniversary celebration. We will definitely be back!
On vacation. Nice quiet restaurant. The service was spectacular. Laura took great care of us. We had crab soup and the chicken noodle for appetizer. Followed by both of us having the New York strip. Dessert was kinda a let down for me. I had a plum monkey bread. I really didn’t care for it. My husband had a German chocolate thing. He wasn’t really impressed either. They both looked better than they tasted. It was a fun evening though.
Outstanding atmosphere where the service and food was outstanding!
It was my birthday and was not disappointed. Food amazing, service impeccable and ambiance lovely. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again.
Beautiful place, wonderful service, delicious food!
We were celebrating our anniversary. The ambiance and service was great the food was ok, not too great for steaks. For the taste and quality, it was over priced.
Lovely setting but disappointed in lack of local protein options. All fish was shellfish, not local to area and no poultry options
Excellent service, food and location.
Delicious food and impeccable service. The ambiance and staff make everyone feel special.
What a wonderful way to end our visit to the Biltmore estate. The service was impeccable and the view overlooking the valley was amazing. We have not had such an amazing culinary experience in a long time. We braved the 5 course meal and found it to be an adventure worth doing. The portions were perfectly condensed to allow room for all courses and each was as delicious as the next.
From the time we walked in to the restaurant, we felt like we were in another world! The views were breathtaking, the service was impeccable and the food was 5+ stars. Our anniversary was recognized in a tasteful (some mini treats) and private manner. Do not miss this restaurant---it continues the experience of visiting the Biltmore House.
The service was outstanding! Our server Hank was wonderful, very attentive! The appetizers were excellent. Main entrees were good not great.
One of the best dinners I’ve ever had. A special occasion for my wife’s birthday made more specia by The Dining Room. The Inn itself is ridiculously expensive but dinner was by no means overpriced. Highly recommended.
This was such an elegant venue, with superb food and impeccable service. We liked it so much, we returned the next night so we could try some other menu options.
The venue is obviously amazing, overlooking the mountains. The food is quite delicious and presented well. My wife and I both choose the 3 course menu option and it was plenty. Bring an appetite if you plan on the 5 course option. Service was excellent.
Service is very good but the food is uninspired, poorly seasoned, and overly complicated in presentation. I think the chef has an aversion to salt and pepper; everything, I mean everything, was incredibly bland and under-seasoned. The hype doesn’t match reality here, I’m sorry to say. The selection of bernaise sauce, bland unseasoned bernaise sauce, with surf and turf is a good example of a chef beyond his or her prime, IMO. I requested a red wine type sauce for my unseasoned filet and none such was available; another big miss for an “international” quality restaurant. Overall, I’d skip this and dine somewhere in Asheville.
It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful place. Would not hesitate to go back.
So great full for answering each request that I sent in with the reservation. It was a special birthday and Andrea, Conner, Desmond, and Antoine made it even more special. Thank them all for us again please.
Excellent food and service. The guest-centric attitude all over the Biltmore Estate makes the property a terrific vacation location and The Dining Room is a wonderful special occasion dining experience.
We planned this dinner for our anniversary. That atmosphere, the view, the food and service of the staff were all exactly what I was hoping for when I made the reservation here. The staff even gave us a couple gifts in honor of our anniversary. The evening could not have been more perfect!
Only the bread and butter and she crab soup were great. My daughter’s fish was over cooked and my wild boar was practically raw and would take twenty four hours to chew if I had taken more than two bites. The dessert “peach custard” was the consistency of cardboard. Inedible. Then we had the privilege of paying close to $200 for the pleasure. A disappointing night to say the least.
We enjoyed our dinner however, when I received the bill i was taken aback when I saw what appeared to be additional charges. I order the 5 course meal. When the first Seafood course came the fish (halibut) was surprisingly small...maybe 2 bites. I also ordered the rib-eye which was delicious, as was the Halibut. I paid $93.00 for the 5 course meal but when I received the bill there was an additional $10.00 up charge that was again a surprise since it was not noted on the menu or explained by the waiter that this up charge should be expected. In the end, although everything was delicious, I paid an additional 40.00 for what amounted to two bites of fish and a salad. Not particularly a value and as I stated earlier, very much a surprise. This would be my only complaint
