   Second time visiting and though I wouldn’t say it was bad, it just wasn’t as nice of an experience as the first time. First time visit, they made sure to top off our water, coffee or drinks, this time we had to track down the waiter to have it refilled. Bacon was burnt and the eggs were way over easy vs the last time. But the PB&J French toast was good, and truffle fries w/steak was excellent. So overall not too bad, just have a feeling they might have been understaffed.

   Jessica really made our experience so fantastic with her warm and friendly service and fun theatrics with the home made honey . This is such a special and unique dining experience worth every penny .

   Our server was exceptional. The hamburger was the best I've had in Washington in the 26 years I've lived here. The french fries were terrible. The view was wonderful, but it was from another room since the Lodge is closed at this time. The whole experience was OK because the noise was overwhelming (no drapes or carpeting to absorb sound). We came here because it was next to the falls.

   I had no idea there were renovations going on, so thinking I would have a view of the snoqualmie falls did not happen because restaurant was closed and we ate up in the old bar area. What was most upsetting is when we got the bill they included a culinary tax and also a land tax. That is absurd! I’m getting sick of restaurants charging extra taxes when the meals are already overpriced!

   We went for our 12 wedding anniversary dinner. The restaurant does go out of their way to make you feel special on anniversaries, but the overall ambiance of the restaurant was not pleasant. The Salish lodge is in the process of remodeling the main dining room so the temporarily restaurant is the upstairs attic bar. I know they probably couldn’t help it but that’s a very bad choice in the middle of the summer when it is barely air-conditioned and the heat from the sun coming through the windows is extremely uncomfortable during your dining experience. also my wife is temporarily handicapped and uses a cane to walk and it was an extremely long walk through the hotel lobby to the elevator and then walking all across the fourth floor past the spa and a bunch of other rooms just to get to the dining room that was temporarily set up. I know the hotel doesn’t want to lose revenue but that’s kind of ridiculous to use that spot as a dining room for the time being. and to charge the extravagant menu prices for the dining room experience that you actually didn’t get to experience it’s not fair to the customer. I’m sorry to rant about this place but we have been dining here for many years and it was the least favorite time we’ve ever had at the Salish lodge. My advice to future customers is stay away from the dining experience at the lodge until it’s remodeled in January. Thank you

   What a beautiful experience. The only downside was the brunch is too much food. Wish we knew we could have split/shared the breakfast.

    The restaurant at Salish Lodge was undergoing construction so we had dinner at what was formerly The Attic. We sat next to the window and had a great view minus the construction site below. Food was simply amazing. I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and my husband had salmon with cous cous with a side of cheesy grits. For dessert we had the Damn Fine cherry pie and I’m not usually a cherry pie person but this was delicious, especially the crust. We were also treated with a glass of champagne because we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, along with a melon gazpacho and a white chocolate tartlet. Our server, Kevin was fantastic and made the whole especially feel special.
