Our Dining Room, Writing Room, Courtyard Garden and Sonnet Lounge restaurant are the perfect places to catch up with friends or colleagues. We are open daily for dining with food being served from 9 am - 8.45 pm, and drinks until late.

    The setting was beautiful. Enjoyed a cocktail on the terrace in the sunshine, then a delicious dinner in the elegant dining room. Service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing at all. Food was delicious; perfect portion sizes to feel you could enjoy 3 courses without feeling uncomfortable. A very enjoyable relaxing evening. I would recommend to friends and family for sure.

    A perfect evening. Beautifully prepared food, a quiet table and a good wine list. But it was probably the service which was the icing on the cake. Attentive but discreet ( none of this silly “is your food ok?”, just there when we wanted help and serving with a smile. Difficult to see how it could have been improved

    The food was as excellent as normal. Staff were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, we had a group of 8 diners behind us who were extremely loud with their conversation. We were not able to hear each other, so this rather spoilt the whole meal.

    Booked for Easter Sunday Lunch and the experience was lovely from beginning to end. Relaxing glass of wine in the Lounge then escorted to the dining table to enjoy a beautiful roast Lamb dinner. Eton mess seemed to be a popular dessert choice so had to experience for myself and was not disappointed. Even though the dining room was very busy the level of noise was just general chatting amongst diners and is never noisy. Lovely ambience for any kind of sophisticated dining.
