This was our first but definite not last visit. Such a hidden gem. Surely worth looking to find. They food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. Very nice wine list also. Lovely little patio for outside dining in cooler weather. Highly recommend.

This is a very nice local feel type of restaurant that is very laid back and with good food. The wait staff was very polite and catered to our wishes. The menu offered a nice selection of tasty food and the wine list was very ample and not over the top. We will definitely be going back.

A chance for friends to get together for lunch and an unofficial b'day party for one.
It was a first time for lunch for two of us and a first time dining for the others. It couldn't
have been better. From the chicken piccata to the Devine burger, everything was prepared perfectly and enjoyed completely. And our waitress was there and efficient when we needed her
and unobtrusive otherwise. Tho this was a Friday lunch the place was way underpopulated:
good for us and the ambiance, not so good for the restaurant perhaps. We really like this place
and will certainly return when we have the opportunity.

I usually dine at Divine Affair for lunch, it's quiet, and you can have a good exchange of conversation, but this particular evening, it was more energetic and noisy than in the past. They also had piano player, and that added another dimension to the evening, and made it a bit louder. The food was excellent, and the pistachio crusted salmon was especially good!
The atmosphere was still very cozy, and I look forward to coming back for dinner.

We had a great time at The Devine Affair. We told our waiter we were red wine drinkers, but wanted to try a white and didn't know what to choose. He called over the sommolier, who pulled up a chair and asked us about what red wines we liked. Based on that, he pulled two white wines for us to sample, and we found a found a white wine we fell in love with.

The food was great and what a wonderful service to have someone help us pair a wine with our likes and our meal!

This was our first visit - unusual as it's so near to home. But it's on the radar now.
Our meal was a delight and, I have to say one of the best we've had in quite a while.
We each had a salad; they advertise as small, but it is a medium at least. All ingredients were
as fresh as either of us could remember having any time in memory. We both succumbed to the
lure of the beef medallions- rare- for the entrée. I honestly can't say that I've ever had better meat or preparation; my wife agrees. Veggie and au gratin potato accompaniments were
perfectly done. And with the bottle of wine: I'm sorry we haven't visited long ago. There are
many more things to try on their menu, which our efficient waitress said was in the process on being updated. They are strictly wine and beer.

We have dined here since the restaurant opened. They have consistently good food and service. It would be good if they served cocktails as the did when they opened the restaurant.

I loved the salmon and my husband loved his Pasta BUT the LARGE issue is that I made it 100% clear on my reservation that it was my husband's birthday on OT. I also mentioned to the waitress when we were sat that it was his birthday. I THEN asked the new waiter that showed to take our photo for the birthday occasion....he did and STILL NOTHING special...I was very disappointed as my husband loves this place and feel the waiter really let me down. I would NOT recommend this place for a birthday!

Place was nice and quite . Service was decent, they got me a warm beer, then corrected the problem when I told them , but still charged for it , for an overpriced restaurant, they shouldn't done that. Food was good but as tasty as outback or a fancy frenchise.
Overall it was ok , not close to their fancy reviews.

food was not up to the usual standards which was very disappointing. Four people ordered four different entrees and all were very bland with not much taste. The 2 fish dishes that were ordered, the parmesan crusted flounder and the snapper Beatrice were both overcooked and dry. We are long time customers but haven't been there in about 3 months so I hope this was just an off night.

This place is hidden gem. The food is excellent and I would categorize it as somewhat Italian but not the typical Italian as it has dishes that may be more continental. On Tuesday and Saturday they have a piano player which adds to the ambiance.

I have been to The Divine Affair a few times and have enjoyed it. Recently, I took a friend from the neighborhood there who had never been to the restaurant - she said she had heard "mixed reviews" about it. Our 3 hour lunch there included excellent service, delicious food and a quiet atmosphere to visit. It was a shame that there were so few people in the restaurant when we were there. Our waiter was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I had the appetizer mussels as an entree with a small ceaser salad and both were very good. I eat mussels everywhere they are served and I found these to be some of the best I have had. They were a great value as well. My friend had the special of the day, seared Salmon over a salad which included green beans and asparagus. The Salmon serving was huge. All and all, we had a lovely time and my friend will definitely come back to the restaurant.

Very nice people. Quiet. Good place to visit with friends. Fair wine prices. Salads included large and small options. My "small" Caprese Salad was one slice of tomato, once piece of mozzarella, and one basil leaf for $7. I actually laughed when the waitress brought it, as I thought she was kidding around. Food tasted good. Pretty confident my snapper had been frozen a while as it had a toughness to it. Wish them well but doubt I will return.

This was my second time here, both times for a nice lunch date. It's much more cozy and refined than a large chain-style Italian food restaurant, which appeals to me a lot. I'm trying something different each time, as is my dining partner. So far I've been pleased. This time I tried the Pappardelle Bolognese, which was pretty good. Very similar to one I have at Mezzanotte (in Cypress), but still slightly different.

We decided to try this restaurant due to all of the decent reviews on Open Table. Unfortunately, I cannot share the same 5, or even 4 star experience. I will say the service was good. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the meal, but the food was awful. I was served white rice which was supposed to pass as risotto, and my son ordered a fish dish that was served extremely undercooked. Very pricey for such an underwhelming dining experience. We won't be returning for a second try.

My wife and I had seen this restaurant in the past but have never tried it. We decided to try something new so we choose Devine Affair. We were pleasantry surprised with the whole dinning experience. The meatball with marinara appetizer was one of the best we have tried anywhere. The Caesar salad ingredients was very fresh with many anchovies however it could have used a bit more dressing. The menu had many choices with pasta, seafood, chicken and beef. My wife had the pasta and loved it. The portion was large enough for her to take some home for dinner the next night. I had the snapper and it was excellent. We will definetly return for dinner here again.

My wife and I visited this establishment after reading it was one of the better Italian restaurants in West Houston. The decor is geared more toward evening dining with its darker tones and low lighting. My wife ordered the soup and salad, while I ordered the house salad, and bolognese over pappardelle noodles. All entrees were delicious, and the salads came with spring lettuce and dressed just the perfect amount. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Overall a very good first impression.

The one off note was the cost of the cup of soup my wife ordered. $10 for a cup and $12 for a bowl seems excessive, especially compared to the other items on the menu. Not sure what caused this price oddity, but we will pass on the soup the next visit.
