It was amazing! The crab is some of the best I’ve ever had
Our reservation was at 4 pm, seated outside at 3:40 pm. 5 minutes later, our waitress let us know she would be back to take our order. 10 minutes later she said she would take order. After 30 minutes, we needed to leave because we would obviously be late for a curtain call, we didn't get any water, bread or drinks.
First time this ever happened to us at the Dead Fish. It will definitely be a while before trying out the Dead Fish again. Never did get her name, she was a freckled brunette, that smiled and waved as we left. Some service, the worst we experienced at your establishment.
Air conditioning was up and food was so so - they were running behind
Reservations made 5 days in advance but it took a half hour to be seated.
Originally Requested outside table but took inside just to get seated.
Noise level extremly loud, you couldn't hear the person next to you.
Wait staff confused and disorganized. Poor management of staff.
Great food, great service. A lot of places are understaffed right now, but we never had a problem with wait times or service. Been coming here for many years…I must admit it’s starting to get rather expensive. Lunch for 4 with lower priced plates and a couple of beers added up to $180. Still, I’ll be back.
All of the food my family ordered was excellent. It was nice to to go the Deadfish again since the beginningof the lockdown!

Last year during the pandemic I was literally calling this restaurant to get a delivery on this delicious food because I wanted some so bad. Needless to say they were not open and I talked to an empty answering machine. 🤣 LAWD I know whoever got that message thought I was crazy. Anyway, I finally fulfilled my food craving 😋. The food is so good here and the service is excellent. I love the whole crab 🦀 with the shrimp 🍤 and a ceasar salad 🥗 on the side. Oh yeah and side of fries. My usual favorite at this restaurant. They have a beautiful scenic side bay view that is perfect for any occasion. Where you can just sit and relax and enjoy the ambience. Just a great place to get away for a minute.

Love going to this place. Great atmosphere and the service is always great. Food is fantastic. Have not had a bad experience yet. Highly recommend going especially for a special occasion.
We were a little disappointed in our server, especially since we went there only two weeks ago and our server (and food) was GREAT then. This visit, it wasn't as great. Still wonderful, but not as good as before which made it disappointing.
This is our new favorite restaurant! Already planning another time to go!!

Our party of 6 arrived at opening time, 12:00. When we got to the table, there was a cloth mask hanging on one of the chairs, and several of the chairs had food crumbs on them. This was upsetting, since we were the first party at the table that day…obviously hadn’t been well cleaned for the day. Food was expensive, but good. Atmosphere was very noisy an tables were very close together. I would not really recommend because they obviously don’t have good COVID safety procedures. This was during the surge of the Delta variant, so I would have hoped they were being more careful.
No complaints on food. Found somethings to be pricey. Don’t agree with having to pay extra for bread, salad veggies potato should be included in MEAL

The crab cakes are full of flavorful crab meat. The view is spectacular. Wonderful dining experience.
Excellent service. Two if us had fish and chips done to perfection. Was overcooked last time. Tried the fried artichoke to share: very good. Cocktails perfect.
Ordered two Mojitos and the mint was wilted and black, the drink was not a Mojito at all, it was a lemonade with wilted mint and soda water.
I kindly mentioned it to the server, who ignored it once. I let it go, but then I mentioned it again to another server who recognized the drink was not to well made.
When our server came back, he did take off one drink off the bill, but both Mojitos were awful. We let it go as the server was not pleased. However, hospitality guidelines, the server should first check that everything meet the standards before serving the food and drink, and if the customer has an observation, to be attentive to the needs and requirements of the client.
Clam chowder was thick and luke warm and my coffee was muddy and cold. Entree was very good and desert was excellent. Service was outstanding.
We celebrated a birthday of my friend. We experienced lack of parking at both sides of the building & was not sure if the one across was Dead Fish parking. My friend almost left & luckily found a street parking
Service was so so he had way to many tables. The waiter had to be reminded a few times for ordered items. Had to wait 1/2 hour with Reservations. It was not a screaming experience. Just Okay.
Great food and drinks it was me my daughter & husband first time and we enjoyed it we love sea food

Our server was the only employee not wearing a mask. We asked the manager and he said that all staff are required to wear masks. We had to ask our server to wear his mask. His response was I’m fully vaccinated. We then go see our server sitting in the corner eating shrimp cocktail . We had to ask him for silverware. After we asked him to wear his mask he then ignores us walking by sometime sighing and never again except for the very very end of our meal asked how we were.
We patronize this place very frequently bringing in many friends and family here. It was a shock on how this employee did not feel the need to follow their own work policy or seem to care about the safety of the guests they was serving.
I love this place and have been coming with my family for many years!
Being a Chef taste, presentation is a big deal for me.
Food was extremely salty, and the food seemed like it was just Thrown on the plate!
It was my mother in-laws birthday but she didn’t even get a Happy Birthday as it’s always been celebrated with candle and singing from the servers. Maybe that has changed and I wasn’t aware of it! 😏

I love the quality of seafood at The Dead Fish. It's been a couple years since we dined there due to COVID, but our dinner was delicious! The wait staff all wore masks and hand sanitizer was offered at check-in. We ordered oysters on the half shell along with a crab melt sandwich and crab/shrimp salad - very good! Fresh baked bread was served with our meal. We also ordered cocktails that were excellent. Our waiter was prompt and professional. If you enjoy fresh seafood I would highly recommend The Dead Fish restaurant!
I was there with my daughter , 6 yr old son and her two little ones (1 1/2 and 3) had reservations and the host told me it was an inside booth. I asked if there was anything available outside and right away he got up and went to look and show me how hot it was inside a cabana since he saw we had kids. Cabana was fine so we sat there but on our way to sit my daughter asked me if we were going to be able to get a high chair and one of the servers overheard us and he says very friendly “I can get you one” then our actual server was super friendly and outgoing with the kids. Offered suggestions to my daughter as a young first timer drinker and just the whole experience was amazing.

Opted to sit outside. It was a cool breezy day until we sat outside underneath the tents. It felt like the heater was on. We asked the waitress if in fact the heat was on by mistake. She told us the heat gets trapped under the tents, that’s why the warm breeze..
We always order the calamari appetizer, they changed the recipe. Not as good as remembered. It was good but not the same. I always order the sizzling crab and double shrimp. It was good, but the shrimp wouldn’t peel. That was the most frustrating meal I’ve had in a long time. Was prepared to work for the crab, not the shrimp. Was hungry and out of energy after I just ate..lol
All in all, it was good.. just not the same.

We walked right in because we had a reservation. Food and service was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would go their again.
I was very disappointed! This is one of my favorite restaurants but I like to sit in the bar area or the outside. We made reservations to celebrate my son’s birthday and requested outside or bar area. They didn’t have my reservation so we had to sit in the very loud dining area. No view, loud with no ambiance. My son’s first time and we booked it late to watch the sunset. No sunset… sat in the dining area. Then I get an e-mail stating we missed are reservation.
It was our Anniversary and they did give us a window like we requested and they did show us the table and asked if it was ok. But I didn’t k know it was the bartender who would be our server. He did a good job but so could have been friendlier . The grilled shrimp and crab was wonderful . I asked about the cheese bread and he came back with a platter of bread with toasted cheese that you pay for !! Yummy!!! But I guess you don’t get a basket of bread like you used to ?? I will still always go back … love the no corkage fee !! And the view !! So we will definitely be back!1
Service was so slow. I believe our server had too many tables.
Disappointing all the way around from the “crab Cioppino“ that was literally crab in cioppino sauce to the half cheese have cake cheese cake to the not getting drinks refilled. Definitely not worth the money!!!
