Very disappointing experience due mostly to poor customer service. The food was average, although the STEW taste like tomato soup with some seafood thrown in-it was not good.
Always booked and busy for a reason. Beautiful views, tasty food, and good cocktails. Parking can be hit or miss but that shouldn't stop you from going!
Everything was great from checking in and great energy from our waiter. Food was great. Just overall great.
Good food, service and ambiance!👍🏽
Our waiter was great, took care of all us us, made sure he checked back every so often to make sure we were doing well. Our family doesn't eat out a lot, but when we do, we enjoy the experience of a nice establishment.
It was a birthday occasion for my best friend and we were able to even get a window seat. Because of the pandemic please make a reservation to avoid waiting,
Dining with high school friends
Staff was super friendly and food was very delicious
We arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat us immediately indoors. Our booth, although indoors, wasn't far from the open entrance doors, so it was a bit cool and drafty with the front doors open due to COVID protocol. Food and service were great!
Everything went well except for us receiving our bread last
We ate outside and the weather happened to be beautiful that afternoon. The tables were spaced far enough to provide privacy. The food was awesome and the service was great. My first time there and I hope to come again. It was wonderful! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!
This was our second time going. The food was good. I thought the first time was a lot better. Service was good. I would go back.
Great service and food.
This was a perfect day with amazing food and great service. The Dead Fish never disappoints.
Our server Robert had great drink and food suggestions and offered excellent service!
The food was delicious. Our waiter was attentive and made sure our needs were meant from the start of our visit til we left
The Dead Fish is my favorite "special dining" restaurant. The
food and service are excellent, and there is no corkage fee. We have reserved for large parties at Christmas and other events, and gone just as a couple, and never been disappointed..
Mom daughter lunch after a year of not seeing each other.
Anniversary dinner with my wife. Wow wow wow. Great atmosphere and great service. The views were fantastic. Recommended to all. I’m ready for another great evening.
Thank you Dead Fish for a great evening.
Service was quick and friendly. Food was excellent!
David, our waiter, was FABULOUS! Food was great although I can't wait for Osso Bucco to return to the menu. We were there early on a Thursday night so it was very quiet. We love this place and hope they can freshen up the menu when things get back to normal.
Always good always consistent. Lovely place to dine
Great views except for plastic barriers because of COVID! The crab melts were nice with ample crab meat. Good
Drinks too. Will go again.
The waitress was OUTSTANDING! Really took care of us. They need to be careful of not overcooking on the sizzling platters. Less is better because they continue to cook.
If you looking for a spot with great views, cocktails & food, this is the place.
Friendly staff and fun atmosphere. We're making another visit soon!
Very, very nice. Seating, food, service, all VERY good.
One of my favorite Restaurants! Fabulous view of the Carquinez Straits and Carquinez Bridge from high on a hill. Wonderful food and excellent service. I have been going there a few times a year for 22 years...
4-7-2021. Thank you. Good food
Friendly environment with excellent seafood. Service was great. Quaint atmosphere
with many little sailboats to admire. Very nautical and of course right on the water with a great view. Beautiful bar area to relax in.
Portions a lot smaller then normal waiters did not open my bottles of champagne not the best bday of the my visit I’ve been here many beats this was by far the worst
I had listed in my reservation it was a birthday celebration, and I even mentioned it at the time of check-in. But I was disappointed that staff made no mention or ask whose birthday was being celebrated.
Food was good, and service was fine. But I guess the Covid restrictions put a damper on my expectations!
The menu is changed with many dishes taken off the menu. Drinks seemed to have been
limited and less alcohol . We've been going to the Dead for quite awhile been we notice a change.
Service was bad, She never asks if I need a refill or anything else.
Everything was perfect!!
Always excellent food and service. Artichoke appetizer is a must.
Had an amazing date night - delicious food, great ambiance and service!
We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary and requested a table overlooking the water, which we did not get. Very disappointed.
Good food. Nice ambiance.
I heard a lot of comments about the Dead Fish; but never went there. I decided to go there for a belated Birthday lunch with my wife, daughter, and sister-in-law.
The ambiance was fair. There is a nice view of the waterfront area. My only issue was there were patrons seated in front of the window. When my family and I looked out the window, those patrons gave us a strange look like we were staring at them.
The food was great. I was not fond of the ala carte menu. If you order a dish, sides cost extra and do not come with the meal. Usually fancier restaurants do this, but I would not classify the Dead Fish as a fancy restaurant.
I found it odd that they did not have hamburger on the kid's menu. In addition, the kid's menu is quite limited.
The price was steep. The bill came out to $215, reduced to $155 with gift cards, then add $40 gratuity, the final bill was $190.
The Dead Fish is a step up from Red Lobster. I went in expecting a fancy restaurant and ambience. On the side of caution, my party went in dressed up incase of a dress code. We quickly learned there was none. While the food was great I was taken back by the ala carte pricing. If it was my decision, I would not re-patron this restaurant. However, I would not restrict my wife, daughter, or guests from choosing this place.
With vaccine cards in hand, we chose an outdoor table closest to the water with a wonderful view. Although we had a reservation, the host offered to show us tables that were available in the bar (another amazing view) and outside. Erin, our waitress, was perfect...friendly, professional, efficient and brought an unexpected chocolate yummy to our table for the Birthday Girl.
The Dead Fish always raises the bar and they are extremely COVID mindful.
Thank you !!
