   Waitress was rude brought appetizers, salads, and dinner to the table all at the same time. When questioned, her response was, “Well you didn’t specify how you want your meal brought out.” This was Christmas Eve dinner with my Mom. I’m surprised she didn’t drop the check off at the same time. Horrible!

   My boyfriend and I went here for our 2 year anniversary, for our first time. Food was good, could've used a bigger portion of the side dishes, we were still hungry! Overall we were very impressed with the ambiance and quality of service. Giving pets to the local kitty after dinner was also a plus! We will more than likely make this our annual dinner spot!

   This is a great place. Very homey, comfortable, and the view is gorgeous. The food is great, delicious. Selection is huge. Theres not too many places like this anymore. Either their too expensive, tiny prices with a huge price tag. This place is perfect! Best part...they check for vaccination before entering. That makes you feel comfortable that everyone around you cares about their health too just like you do.

   Just not what it use to be. Food is definitely not as good the drinks are not as good. Condiments are not given unless asked. No garlic butter sauce with crab

   We really enjoyed this dining. The food was fantastic. I chose a sea bass entree since it's more of a seafood restaurant. But my friend ordered the steak and she said it was very good. The sangria was super awesome. Loved it. I had two. A must try place.

   The food is excellent but six of us were crammed into a very small table so it made it very uncomfortable to eat with all the plates and glasses on the table. I had asked for one of those private Cabanas but was put in a cabana with another group of six people not even six feet from us so it got quite noisy in there. Make sure if you ask for the private Cabana did they give you the one down below and not the one where you are sharing with another group. But the view and the food is amazing!

    Food was horrible. Used to be the best good around. The value was bad. Chechen sandwich no fries nothing. It was platted on a plate that was two feet long. Looked ridiculous. Horrible experience. Will never go back again. We ordered creamed spinach. We asked waitress. Is this cream as it tasted like regular spinach. She says oh yea we don’t use much cream. What? Really.     I organized a surprise dinner for my boyfriend for his Birthday. I had heard from so many people how great the Dead Fish is! The best part of it is the spectacular view! If what you want is ambiance then this is the place for you. Unless you get put in this weird circus tent on the deck. We could barely see the view. I’m sorry to say everything else was not up to par either. There is no where to park. It took 30 minutes past my reservation to get seated. I never got my drink refilled or even asked if I want a refill. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. My boyfriend ordered seafood stew and got Cioppino which would have been fine except there was big crab legs in it that were not cracked. We had to get up and track down our waiter to get a crab cracker for him. I got the crab melt and it was three rolls with very little crab in it and a piece of melted cheese. A few people in our party got fish and chips and they said it was just ok. We had calamari for an appetizer and it was a little chewy. I got the clam chowder and had to put hot sauce in it because it was so bland. So to sum up: disappointed in the food and service but we had a great partial view at sunset. My best advice if you still want to go is to carpool!!!

    Overall good but they appear to be taking more reservations than they can handle. We showed up on time for our reservation and there was a line out the door (for reservations only). We sat for 20-30 mins past our reservation time waiting for an indoor table - they said outdoor would be even longer. Non-vaccinated have to sit outside which is understandable but for a place with a view, makes the wait for those with vaccines even longer.

    The crab is delicious. The service was great . There was a long line to get in, even with a reservation but we arrived early and were seated on time. There is also a grear view.

    I ordered the crab crostini for an appetizer. It was very good. Then I ordered a crabwich. It was terribly boring! The bread was just so so, there wasn't very much crab on it. It seemed sloppily made. There was no cheddar or horseradish vinaigrette on it, and just a tiny smear of avocado. Boring! Not special (or yummy) at all. Maybe the chef was off that day, don't know? I had to use my friend's salad dressing to make it even kind of good, but it still wasn't right. But the service was outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ryaine was our waitress. She is such an asset to your restaurant.

    Service was horrible. I understand they might’ve been understaff, but the server was not attentive at all. When we asked for something he seems very bother by it. Our empty dishes were not picked up. We literally had to hold on to our dirty dishes because there were no to put them. Food was very mediocre. I used to go to dead fish at least 3X monthly and was always satisfied with both service and food. I believe they are under new management, but still doesn’t justified the type of service and food that was provided to us. Really bummed about this because dead fish used to be my fave restaurant. Sadly to say, but I will no longer go back.

    Booked 8pm for 4 but, when I got there I had to wait a hour and a half to be seated. I ended up spending $1,800 plus leaving a $300 tip at another restaurant that I booked just in case. The other restaurant sat my party right away.. Never going to ever book anything at The Garbage Deadfish again. Even if some takes me there I'll refuse to go...

    Same old dead fish. Menu not user friendly . Prevailing attitude of them doing the customer a favor. I have written previously about “waiter/ busboy/ janitor. Vacuuming while customers are eating nearby and waiters removing plates while members of party still eating. However; it is the only quasi upscale restaurant between Oakland and Sacramento

    We been coming to This Resturant for over 20 years. Friends get together for dinner. We had blast, good food, excellent service. Our waiter Davide made sure our glasses was continuously full, food arrived on time. Peter the manager took care of us . I give them five star.

    The meal and service was fabulous, the view spectacular, the only drawback was getting in. Once you are corralled through the entry process, all is well. This is a very popular and populated restaurant...if you can make it past the hoopla of entering the door, the atmosphere changes....it's kind of a stressful beginning, but a very satisfying experience once you are seated.

    We order clams and crab. The clams test old, didn’t taste fresh. I told the waitress, but She said nothing, and charge like we eat all. I tried to eat and every time I was very disappoint with #the taste. I never had this problem at Dead fish restaurant, it was always fresh.

    This was our first time here. It was better than all the great things I've heard over the years! Seabass, Crab Louie Bloody Mary and Cosmo for dessert we had the carmel crunch cake and tarimiso (sp?) Every single thing was freakin phenomenal!

    I have been here a few times over the years. I spent the time seated outside looking at the bridge there. This time I was stuck inside. The atmosphere was old and campy as a diner. Food was crab or stuff I cannot have. The only white fish was cod and breaded. The Chardonnay selection was a few nothing great. Shrimp came w/ shells and legs and tails. I dint touch it. So if you want shell fish this place is yours and they do have large servings. FYI Parking on Sunday was nuts had to park in the neighborhood and walk down. But our server was as nice as she could be for she was swampt. Dont see me going back. The fit is not there for me.

    Great food .. love the combination of mussels shrimps and crab in a sizzling platter Don’t forget to order pasta ! Wish they still serve bread and butter as a free starter though ( they now charge for this )
