Everything was set up great. The food presentation looked awesome. The flavor was good but the issue we had was the temperature of the food was cold to luke warm. The bacon, potatoes, prime rib, pork belly, sausage, etc. everything was not very warm. We had an omelette and crape made in front of us and they were obviously warm. I would recommend to others but hopefully the temperature issue would be corrected.

Best Sunday brunch in the area and nothing can compete with the Davenport for ambience.

The buffet at the Davenport was excellent!!! The prime rib was perfect as was everything I chose, actually. The waitress was very attentive and the mimosas were refilled regularly and were made with a very good quality of champagne which I really appreciated. Everyone in our party raved about both the buffet and the ambiance! I would certainly return when I'm in the area again!

Usually really enjoy the Davenport Brunch, however on this occasion the assortment and quality of the hot food section was 2nd rate at best. Prime Rib and seafood were both very good as they are signature items.

What a wonderful brunch buffet! It's honestly the best I've ever had in my life. Our server Michelle made sure that the unlimited mimosas were always filled and she was quick, funny, and very good at what she does. For $50, you cannot go wrong with this. While that may seem pricey, it really is not when you can get ahi tuna dishes, salmon, prime rib, BBQ ribs (fall off the bone good). There are so many awesome breakfast entrees like the omelet, crepe, and waffle bar...cooked to order with your own ingredients. This is just a small sample of the things offered at this brunch. I tried to limit myself to very small bites so I could try every item and I couldn't do it all! I will be coming back for the rest! Don't eat a late dinner before this...you'll need the room for all of the delicious items. Lastly, the room (ballroom) it was held in is gorgeous! The table settings and overall decor just added to the experience. It's a nice place and while you don't need a tux and ball gown, I enjoyed putting on my nicer blouse and "good jeans" for the occasion.

I have enjoyed the brunch before. But it didn't feel quit elegant or fancy as before. The price went up and the experience just wasn't worth the price.

I love the Davenport. The buffet is always solid. I do think it is a little pricey for the variety, but then again, they do serve excellent prime rib.

We have eaten at The Davenport hotel many times but, never the buffet. The food was exceptional and the service was great. The time spent in the Davenport is just a treat to the eyes with all of the art deco interior finishes. Truly a memorable place to stay and dine. And to think, the City of Spokane was going to tear it down and make the site into a parking lot.

The Davenport continues to offer one of the most beautiful and delicious Sunday Brunches I have tried. Excellent food, service & ambiance. Although a bit more expensive than some, I believe that this buffet is worth it!

I've had Sunday Brunch at a lot of places, but this was the best quality and variety of food I have ever had. Sushi to salmon cakes, crepe station to omelette station to carving station. Top notch.

We went to the Davenport buffet to celebrate selling our house. It was the nicest place we could think of to go. The food and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately we had a really terrible experience with service. Our server was nowhere to be found, and pointedly avoided our attempts to attract her attention when she occasionally made herself visible. We ended up apologetically asking other servers for coffee refills and beverages. While they were mostly nice about it, it was obvious they weren't happy about it either, and it was both embarrassing and disappointing after dropping $200 on breakfast for four.

We've been to the buffet many times. Normally I give it 5 stars!! But a few things fell short this time. I always look forward to the short rib dish and the salmon and chicken.... however this time it wasn't good. The potatoes were an unappetizing glue and the chicken stale and overheated. But I'm totally being picky bc this experience is amazing!!! The service is spectacular. But most of all the setting. In the beautiful historic Davenport. There are no words. Just do it. Insider tip - go a little early and do the Bloody Mary Bar. Such fun and variety and the lady is a hoot. She truly loves what she does and is a real artist. My other favorite part of going is seeing the young families with toddlers exploring the koi pond and mesmerized by the chocolate fountain. And the DOGS! Thank you Davenport for keeping things tastefully accessible to our beautiful four legged family. I love to see people experiencing our history and making memories for a lifetime. Oh and the prime rib...... get it!! And we experienced the white chocolate peanut brittle for the first time this trip. Omg crazy. It's like their soft peanut brittle on crack. On a cloud. In heaven. Amazing.

I have attended the Sunday Brunch once or twice a year for 15 years and it is so worth the 3 hour drive and when attached to a night at the davenport an experience I look forward to. The food service and atmosphere has never failed to impress me and this occasion is always one of my favourites. The seafood selection itself is worth the visit.

One important note: it would be kind of the reservations staff over the phone or online to ask where they would like to be seated, in the Isabel dining room or in the dining area in front of the fireplace. Its good form to inform customers that if they make a reservation for brunch, it does not indicate if you'll be seated in the Isabel dining room if it is not available, and overflow will go to the tables in front of the fireplace dining area. Therefore, if a customer really prefers sitting in the Isabel dining room, then please allow them to reserve a time open to guarantee a table. On another note, I think a great idea would be to take any walk in's, to the overflow area if there's space available.

We celebrated my granddaughter's 30th birthday. She loved it...especially the Bloody Mary bar! Great service and fantastic variety. My favorite is the fruit, salad, seafood table. Her's was the omelette, waffle, etc. table. Oh, and yes, the prime rib and the hot dish selection. And we all love the dessert table and the chocolate fountain! I'll be back!

We were seated in the fireside room but at a table too close to the bathroom it was difficult to enjoy my meal and company while listening to lavatory room noises and distractions from guests visiting the laboratory in the hallway right next to my table. I was asked if it was a special occasion which it was a birthday but no recognition from the staff other than saying happy birthday I didn't really expect anything but since you asked if it was a special occasion and the staff asked if it was a special occasion I'm guessing that because you care that it's a special occasion that you might do something for the special occasions

Overall the experience was not worth the price. For 49.99, the way the brunch buffet was advertised, it sounded luxurious and a must try. The food was cold, dry, and very few selections. Orange juice was not fresh and the included drinks were cheap drinks. The bloody Marys were advertised like it was included but we find out that it's not. There were only 2 carving stations and most the food was cold. Just not worth $50 and we were let down by the quality. Definitely will not be coming back nor recommending it to friends and family. It was such a bad experience that it hinders my idea of the great Davenport hotel as a whole. I hope the hotel itself is nothing like the brunch buffet because I planned on staying at the hotel many times but now I'm questioning ever staying a night there.

We made these reservations a long time ago, visiting Spokane from California. We heard so much about this fabulous Sunday Buffet. When we arrived we were told that there was no buffet today. Please make a note of it and do not allow reservations to be made for something that doesn't exist. We are terribly disappointed. Open Table should be aware of any changes made at the restaurants you represent. Not happy.

I have been to the Sunday Brunch at the Davenport on many occasions and likely will again, however, the more that I come here the more disappointed I am. The menu is always the same. The food is okay but there is a general lack of creativity in the menu and as I said, there has been the same handful of dishes over and over. It is like they think that a chocolate fountain is the be all and end all. This time they did add some doughnuts to dip in the chocolate but nothing else knew. I had the same old beef ribs, eggs benedict, salmon, fruits, a few breads and the exact same desserts. They charge a lot of money for brunch and for that amount I expect a little variety in the menu.

We were late getting seated which affected our eating time. A bit rushed. Some of the food items had run out.
But other than that it was wonderful.
Although the donut wall was a great idea, the donuts were very tough and bland.
