The hotel's top chefs pull out all the stops to create a culinary fête that includes lavish buffets of seafood, a cascading chocolate fountain, salads and specialty items, housemade desserts and carved-to-order meats like prime rib beef. Champagne, Mimosa's and our "build your own" Bloody Mary Bar.

Excellent Sunday Champagne Brunch. All my favorite things to eat and the most wonderful long, crisp bacon ever! Our great waitress was quick to fill our champagne glasses and the beauty of the brunch room has a lovely, bright and beautiful ambience. I really look forward to our next visit.
Exceptional food and service, I will definitely recommend to my friends and family! I’ll be going back;).
You can't go wrong with the Davenport Champagne Brunch!!!! I have been going here for 40 years and it never disappoints. The owners have found a lovely French Champagne, which while it is an 'off-brand' is delightful (and endless). We spent the better part of 2 hours here and found many wonderful things to eat, including the fresh Ahi Tuna Sushi , Candied walnuts with Blue Cheese, Creme Brule' French toast, Large Shrimp, Maple smoked bacon, desserts to die for and all the other things you would expect. Go hungry and you won't regret it.
Took the family with two babies and was most enjoyable. Food was excellent, everyone was very nice, helpful and accomodating. Hope to come back.
Although the food was very good, the service was not up to previous experiences. Used plates were not removed in a timely fashion. Although coffee had been requested, it never appeared. We also waited an unusually long time for the bill.
Dine here often, enjoy the peacock lounge, the lobby dinning and the special occasion brunch and dinners. Ambiance can't be beat, excellent food preparation and price range, service perfect. Recent Easter Brunch for family will be a repeat. Open table reservations convenient.
Perfect Easter Brunch
The experience was wonderful. We had 10 people and everyone was comfortable in the seating and easy to return to the buffet.
Easter Brunch has become a tradition, as usual it was great. 6th attendance.
Extremely poor Easter brunch. Missing many key foods and overall a circus atmosphere. Will not make this mistake a second time.
Absolutely not worth it! We have eaten at the Davenport Sunday brunch in the past and it was great... Sadly, not the case anymore. In the past, their were several items that were unique and truly memorable, i,e. quail eggs and caviar, and everything was excellent. This time, the food was OK, but certainly not worth $70.00 a person. The prime rib was all medium well. So if you like medium rare or rare, you were out of luck. The yukon gold potatoes were clearly poured out of a frozen bag and could be found at a motel brunch. The eggs Benedict was over cooked, moderately warm, and the hollandaise sauce was bland and average at an inexpensive diner. The service was good and that staff genuinely seemed to care about the guests, but the food was seriously lacking. Finally, when we scheduled the reservation we called first and were told that the cost was $50.00 per person. Additionally, that we would need to book our reservation online, which we did. Then, on Sunday the actual cost was $70.00 per person. I cannot express enough that you should look elsewhere and not waste your money. There are plenty of great breakfast places here in Spokane with better food for 1/4 the money. One positive note, was the dessert that was great.
We love the Davenport Sunday brunch! Wonderful for special occasions and we look forward to attending whenever we are in Spokane on a Sunday! Everyone should enjoy this opportunity at least once in their life!
The service is fabulous!!! Your champagne glass is always full and your coffee always hot. The food is good....not amazing. The dining room is beautiful, we were seated right by the fire. We went for our anniversary and we will be back!!
The Davenport Brunch is a wonderful treat! There is truly a cornucopia of selection. 2 different meats at the carving station, multiple benedict choices, loads of fresh seafood, including shrimp and tuna, fresh fruit and salads. Then there's the omelet station, the waffle station and the crepe station. If that doesn't cure your sweet tooth there is an entire section of desserts. Oh yeah, and the unlimited mimosas! The staff is friendly and helpful with questions. I really can't recommend it enough.
Expensive, but worth it for the right event. Food was delicious and we had lots of fun. I got dressed up, but most of the people there are dressed for Spokane, so it was everything from jeans to dresses.
Loved it ! Our servers were amazing and very personable.
We had a truly delightful time. It was our first time to visit. We are actually good friends with Louie Davenport and his wife, Nita. We have talked about visiting for years but never got over your way. The food was spectacular and our waiter, Robert was hysterical. My husband and I had a blast and Nita and I are already planning a girls’ weekend soon with you! Thank you so much for your hospitality!
My 12-year old daughter and I went here for a special mother-daughter brunch. She has celiac disease, so eating out is always a bit of a worry. The staff at the Davenport went above and beyond to make certain her dining experience was safe and enjoyable, including consulting the chef/pastry chef and providing a tour of which foods were safe. We both had a delightful time, had plenty of wonderful food, and we are so pleased with our experience! We will be back!
Once again, The Davenport Hotel Brunch was fabulous! The food selection always makes me wish I could eat more and try everything that is offered. Custom made omelets, Belgian waffles, roast turkey breast and prime rib, lox and bagels, sushi, and, of course, the chocolate fountain! On top of that, the endless mimosas/champagne. Sitting out in the lobby has the best ambiance and seriously comfy chairs. I know that we will come back again and again!
WARNING - there is no time limit on the all-you-can eat/drink Sunday buffet. Wish I had known this. Made a reservation and was seated 35 minutes late because 1/2 the seated occupants were holding camp at tables rendering a reservation pointless. You definitely get your bang for the buck when you are grazing food and drinks for 2hrs+! Bless the hearts of the Davenport staff that have to mitigate squatters and hangry, waiting people. Left the recommendation to the Davenport establishment a possibility of a gracious 90 minute limit which would allow more people, more money through the door. Until then, though the food spread is delicious, ambiance delightful, and great people watching the squatter tables, I would not recommend this Sunday Brunch without this warning!
The hot food was cold. The carving stations’ meats were cold. The hot food should be hot and the cold food should be cow ld, please.
The quality of the hot stations have gone down.
I recommend the Davenport Brunch to anyone that enjoys a good array of food choices, Bloody Marry bar, to Prime Rib and Dessert with chocolate fountain. Very nice
Excellent service and food. The food is nicely displayed. Enjoyed the omelette and crepe bar. Our server was very generous with the mimosas. The elegant hotel adds to the experience.
We had an excellent experience at the brunch. It was our first experience and the staff was superb in answering all of our questions. The food was amazing. As members of the Spokane Club we must admit that the entire experience with you has no comparison. Keep up the excellent standards. Our server was always there and willing to please. Thanks for the great romantic adventure!!!
As guests from The Grand hotel we were looking forward to capping off our celebratory weekend with brunch at the davenport. What a disappointment!
The hostess sarcastically (attempting to joke?) went on about how men are "just slow" when I stated he was parking the car. When seated the table was set for four, not five and two of us had to sit sideways in our chairs as the legs of the plastic folding tables did not allow ANY Leg Room.
Robert our waiter was pleasant and timely in clearing plates.
When we went to the omelet/crepe station the young man, while very nice, had no idea how to make omelets. I felt awful for him! He was embarrassed when one was over cooked/burned and another ended up as scrambled eggs. He was very apologetic and clearly doing his best, why haven't you trained him? The "hot" food was anything but with The eggs Benedict and the seafood frittata so cold they were congealed. The French Toast, also cold, and so saturated in berry juice the "toast" was all but liquified and the rice on the sushi was dry and hard.
The fresh fruit plate was lovely.
We have been to your brunch in years past, it was decadent and delicious, but this was appalling, from the flippant/sarcastic greeting , inept cook, to the unpalatable food. Certainly not what is expected when paying upwards of $250.00 for brunch.
Wonderful selection of fresh food with endless varieties to choose from. Elegant presentation & atmosphere. Well worth the cost. Highly recommend!
Wonderful, as it always has been since it reopened
We absolutely enjoyed one of the most delicious buffet brunch's at the Davenport on Jan 28, 2017. The service and variety were exceptional, our coffee's and drinks were filled quickly, our used dishes were removed promptly, the food and presentations were wonderfully tasty and appealing. The servers were very personable, friendly and served crepes, sliced meat, etc. quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this wonderful brunch to family and friends.
At the check in they did not have our name or reservation even though we booked well in advance on OpenTable. Still, they were able to quickly seat us and even made it possible for us to sit in the quieter area outside the main buffet area.
My friend and I were not impressed with the food. Of course I have been to many buffets and it paled in comparison to most I've been to. The presentation was really wonderful but many of the dishes were not warm even if they came out of one of the chafing dishes. The sushi looked bad to the point that I didn't even taste it. The Shrimp Linguine was delicious but it was very hard to serve pasta with a spatula. That was a weird serving utensil for pasta.
The desserts were also sub par and not very impressive. My favorite desserts were the lemon one and the ginger cookie.
I would definitely not return here for the price. It wasn't worth the price tag at all. Maybe if I wanted to drink unlimited mimosas then I would have liked it better but I was not impressed with this buffet at all. Usually you have to roll me out of a buffet but at this one I was barely full since the food was really not that good in my opinion.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. The food was amazing and there was a very large variety of options. I had an amazing birthday lunch. The table was set very elegantly. The music fit with the atmosphere. It was a breath taking experience. The food, music, service, and environment were all perfect.
Our family had a wonderful experience. Our grandsons were impressed with the chocolate fountain. My sister and our daughter both enjoyed their birthdays. Thank you.
Its probably our 20th time enjoying Sunday brunch at the Davenport and as always the selection was fantastic, sushi fresh, homemade crapes, leg of lamb excellent, prime rib cooked to perfection, all of the sides were amazing, stellar service, worth the trip for Montana , every time !!
The historical room was incredible and the food was excellent. I was so impressed by the variety and the quality of the food selections. I felt the staff at the food stations were well informed and very professional. In particular, the dessert bar was over the top in it's variety of small tasty treats. The custom ice sculpture at the seafood bar was beautiful!
My only complaints are how crowded it was for the cost of the meal. I felt the tables were pushed too close together. I would have preferred that there was a dress code simply because for the cost of the meal, I was surprised how casual many people dressed. It would have been nice to have a coat rack or coat check. My coat was long and was on the back of my chair so it was stepped on by patrons. The wait staff was very slow because they seemed to have too many tables to serve and it took a long time to get our invoice which we needed to ask for.
Great as always! It’s definitely a treat for us (at $50/person), but we always enjoy it when we go. The selection and quality of the food is outstanding. The service is always great too!
Food was fabulous, most service was great. Atmosphere was gorgeous.
despite the price $50 it's a great experience. Endless Mimosas and lots of food choices.
Our waiter was very attentive in spite of his being very busy. He explained where the stations were located, kept our table clean , coffee and champagne were refilled as needed. We enjoyed ourselves and will return in the future.
The only disappointment was the waffle line. Only one iron was working so it took awhile to get one. Our waiter was excellent.
The food just wasn't as good as last year. Don't know if it was over-booked, the tables were just packed together to the point that it was difficult for the servers to work. The prime rib and the pork were over-done , but the ham and all the cold seafood were excellent. The advertised braised short ribs had been replaced with the tough stuffed pork. We will go back next year, because this is what we do on Christmas and hopefully it will be back on the Davenport track of wonderful food without the crowded mess since Christmas is on Tuesday.
Overall the food was very good but I was so disappointed with the service. When we were seated we were told we could wait for our server or start eating. So our table of 5 filled our plates and began eating. The place was bustling with servers to every table but ours. I thought the server would come since we were all seated and we were at the table between the ballroom and the Hall of Doges right by the stands where the water/champagne stations were. Our waters were low and no champagne was offered although the table next to ours had an attentive server who kept going over there. I looked around several times at various servers like "hey, anyone notice us?'. When we got up for round two a server walked by and I said May I have some champagne please? so my glass & my husbands was filled. Then on the second round our waters had not been touched so in disgust I got up and grabbed a pitcher from one of the stands and filled up the glasses. Immediately I was flanked by a server wanting to take the pitcher from me and finish. I felt like - don't bother, we have been up and down serving ourselves why show up now? Same with our plate removal - when my husband came back from his first round his plate was still there and so was my son's. He mentioned it so when he got up for dessert I grabbed all of the empty plates and put them on the tray!!! On a good note when the hostess saw my snapping pictures she offered to take a group shot of the whole table. I love the Davenport and have wanted to come to the brunch since we moved to Idaho but it was a let down. However I appreciated the chance to say this, I would not go on YELP etc to bad mouth the experience.
