We felt pampered and LOVED the food! Recommend highly!
Always an excellent experience. I love your service and hope that you realize what an amazing staff you have...
This brunch although expensive is my favourite and one which I try to attend 2 times a year when visiting Spokane. The food is always top quality with amazing options and has always delivered top quality service and food.
We were thrilled with our experience at the Sunday champagne brunch given by the historic Davenport hotel in downtown Spokane. To have such wonderful food and service in the gorgeous historical setting was something that we will never forget.
Fast Saturday night and prepare your palate for a wondrous array of incredible edibles. Everything tastes as good as it looks!
Mary was our server and she is amazing! Such a kind lady, she is one of the main reasons we come back to the Davenport brunch!
We had attended this event for our anniversary. Our "special" dessert was brought out while we where still eating. Then the waitress stopped surviving is drinks. And brought our bill while we where still eating. Then when we asked for more coffee and champagne she decided to roll her eyes at us. I expected more from the Davenport staff especially with how costly the meal was.
Really enjoyed every aspect! The fresh seared scallops are absolutely amazing! My wife and I had such an enjoyable time scrutinizing each piece! It seemed that nearly every dish had quite pleasant to surprisingly complex features. Definitely recommend!
This is an outstanding Sunday brunch! There are so many different foods available, and everything is delicious. They have marvelous salads and fruit and the best and freshest seafood around. I am from the San Francisco Bay Area, and the seafood is as good,or better, than what I get there. They also have delicious meats as well as amazing breakfast options such as crepes, waffles, french toast, and omelettes. The desserts are plentiful and tasty. The service is tremendous (my bottomless mimosa was rarely empty) and the setting in the restored Davenport Hotel is stunning. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it! Highly recommended!
Omelette was my favorite!!
enjoyed our visit very much, food was superb and service was above reproach
Impeccable service with a large variety of great quality food. Anyone who is slightly put off by the price must consider that many buffets are sub quality food in an unattractive setting. Buffet at the Davenport is worth the money for the quality food, great service, and beautiful setting. Would highly recommend, and will visit again.
Everything was great. The only miss was the bagels. For what you pay, they seemed like grocery store bagels, so it brought that part down. Other than that, food was great and we will be back
I have two complaints. When I scheduled my reservation I was given the last open reservation at 9:30am. We were there until 11:30am and they were never more than 1/2 full. We would have liked a later time. The second complaint was the desserts wee a little disappointing. They tasted industrial. But our waiter was fantastic, the range of food was fun.
A wonderful experience as always! Mary and her dedicated staff made our anniversary a very relaxed and enjoyable experience
Part of 4 having a business meal was difficult with tables being so close together and the noise level. We’ve gone to this buffet about four times and hands-down one of the better ones so we knew what to expect. I would pay more money for a more quiet setting.
We don’t go for value we go for the experience. Food was great service was not good. I’ve never sat with an empty drink until this visit.
Way too expensive and we can’t eat $50 worth of food!!
Great food, amazing service, defiantly worth the money & time.
The food presentation was amazing and the service can not be beat!
We had a party of ten people and had extremely poor service from the waitress. At the start she only poured mimosas for half or our group and did not check on our table throughout the meal.
Awesome experience and our server is always excellent. Prefer it down stairs on main floor but still great
Great Food and a Beautiful setting for Sunday brunch! I am just not sure it's worth the cost vs CDA brunch
A special treat for a special occasion. You can't go wrong with the Davenport Buffet!
The buffet is a must if you are in Spokane! The best buffet we have ever been to. It;s beautiful
This buffet is legendary in the Inland Pacific Northwest, for good reason. The food is fresh and is constantly replenished. I particularly enjoyed all the cold seafood: peeled gulf shrimp, seared ahi tuna, smoked salmon, and mussels. The buffet is very attractively arranged. Even at the height of Christmas visitors, the reservations and seating were exactly on target. The hotel managed all the crowds and energy with expertise and finesse.
Reservation for 11:45 but didn’t get seated until 12:15. Our server was great, but many people we know complained of slow service and dirty tables this year, which we witnessed. Eggs Benedict was cold (said 4 of 5 family members), shrimp was slow to be restocked as was ice for Bloody Mary bar. No baklava, huge disappointment. I love the Davenport, but we could have enjoyed a comparable meal elsewhere for less than half of our bill/tip. But I gave 4 stars because it’s the Davenport and I hope they will remedy this.
We attended the Sunday Brunch and enjoyed the expansive choices of food we had. We will do this again a good time was had by all.
Robert our server was OUTSTANDING and the food plus was and always is amazing!!!
We attend Brunch several times each year and the annual Christmas Brunch is our favorite! Iy is a family tradition for us, our kids and grandkids to attend Christmas Brunch. Mary has been our server exclusively for many years and she always makes sure that we feel very welcome and we always do! We will be back in February if not before...
It was pretty noisy where we sat in the foyer. Everything was great but dessert buffet was lacking. People in our party thought buffet at Airway Heights casino was much better. Price for buffet is pretty high when factoring in how many stations compared to $40 in Las Vegas for 15 stations. Overall I am rating high for ambiance, service and the food was good but I doubt if I'll be back due to cost.
Excellent food. Elegant ambiance. Best Bloody Mary bar.
The food was wonderful! Our server was nice, could’ve enjoyed more coffee & mimosas but he came by a few rimes & then left. We were enjoying some recon for our wedding as we are thinking of having our champagne brunch before our ceremony.
We had such a wonderful time this year yet again. Our server, Theo I believe was his name was over the top great!! We’ve had him before, loved him then and loved him this time. This is annual sibling brunch and we look forward to it every year. Thank you for making it an exceptional experience. Cheers and Merry Christmas!! See you next year
Beautiful, festive atmosphere with lots of food options. It is fairly expensive, especially for someone like myself who eats small amounts at a time. With that being said, it was a fun experience to share with my family!
Our server Courtney was fabulous! Great service! I would return again.
I love this buffet, but not at the holiday time! The Peacock Room is so much more intimate. The ballroom was loud, our server was too busy, the food ran out before we were done. Had to ask for coffee twice, never a refill. Didn’t feel too special for the 240$ bill for four of us.
Typically I would recommend. We have been there several times before and it has all been great. This time, we were taken to our table three times and others were already seated there. When we finally got a table, we waited for 15 minutes before anyone approached us. We had to flag someone down several times for drink refills. Much of the food was cold or the trays were empty each time we went up. We were really disappointed as this is not what we have experienced before. For the price of this buffet, I expect a lot more.
Wonderful selection of fresh and cooked food items. Our server was on top of making sure our water and mimosa glasses were always full even though the dining room was extremely busy. Would definitely go to this dining experience again.
We have been going to the Davenport brunch for special occasions for years and have always been very pleased. However, the last couple of times we have been very disappointed - this last time we were especially disappointed. The food was certainly not up to the standards associated with the Davenport brand. The waffles were dry and tasted like they were previously frozen whereas they used to have a fresh waffle bar and were delicious. The same for the omelette bar. The "egg mixture" was pre-made and also very dry. I am always very excited for the eggs Benedict, but the last few times it was more like a hard boiled egg and a thin piece of ham on top of a mediocre English muffin. The "roasted potatoes" were hard as if they weren't cooked all the way through - I'm not sure there was anything I could say was fantastic. The service was also not up to Davenport standards. We had to wait quite a while for our drinks and refills and dirty plates sat on our table. This would not be such a big deal, except we have seen a steady decline in not only the quality of both the food and the service at the Davenport, but in the pride they used to have in being the premier hotel and restaurant in Spokane. We are truly disappointed as the Davenport brunch was always a special thing we did a couple times a year. We will not be going back.
