The service was incredible. They surprised us with a complimentary champagne taste as our table was celebrating our wedding engagement.

Delicious housemade ricotta starter. I had the eggs benedict and the poached eggs were perfect for me. The server Adam was wonderful explained everything and also listen to all of my requests and questions.

This was my first time for brunch and my friend and I had a totally satisfying experience.
The food was good and the service was attentive but not intrusive. A very pleasant way to start the day.

The Dandelion managed to satisfy five very different women with very different tastes. There was something for everybody! The hostess and wait staff were particularly attentive and charming. A lovely lunch outing in Philadelphia close to many museums and historic sites.

First time dining here, the food and service was very good. The only issue was that we were crammed into a small table in the corner with not much room to move. Other than that, we were able to sit a little earlier than our 6:30 reservation, which was a plus since we arrived early and the placed was packed.

The food was pleasant and enjoyable. We went during Philly restaurant week. The ambience was very nice and we enjoyed looking at the what appeared to be 19 century architecture. We were seated in the 2nd story bay window having a great view and it was quite cozy snd conducive to conversation .

Good lunch and service. Charming place. There was a mistake in a meal but they gave us a delicious dessert to share.

Reliably good food, efficient service, charming interior. I didn't complain to the server, but a mild remark to my neighbor about the saltiness of my salad (dressing) was overheard by a staff person and resulted in my not being charged for it. Unnecessary, but a nice touch.

I recently took my friend out to dinner to celebrate her birthday. We had a really friendly, helpful server. She was able to steer us towards certain dishes when we had trouble making up our minds. We shared the deviled eggs and prawns to start-delicious as always. Steak & chips and fish & chips were really good. Tasty cocktails and great ambience. Even though it was crowded that night, we had a small corner table so we were able to converse with no problem. Very enjoyable!

A warm and cozy table upstairs, with terrific service and very good food. The Restaurant Week 3-course menu was also a great value.

My husband and I had delicious salads, roast beef sandwich, and the most interestingly flavied delicious mussels. The mussels portion was large with plenty of sauce to go with the baguette.
Our only complaint is the loudness of the music, which I asked to be lowered. The waitstaff also started cleaning up the room as if they were closing- it was 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. It made us feel hurried. Perhaps they wanted to go home and watch the Eagles playoff.
The food was fabulous, the experience could have been better.

Had a fun and casual dinner out on a Saturday night.

We were warmly greeted and welcomed to the restaurant even though we were a bit early.

Our request for a quiet both was granted and our server was friendly and attentive.

The burger was huge and delicious as was the cheese board and chicken liver parfait.

Great selection of beers and the atmosphere is unique and quirky.

The restaurant was nicely set up with different decor throughout. The waiters and waitresses were attentive- however our waitress seemed annoyed/upset with us the entire time. She came around and served us and poured water into our glasses- however it was preformed so passive aggressively that it really made the table quiet when she came around.

For the last 4 years, we have spent Christmas Eve here, and it's our go-to brunch spot, so it was a no-brainier as to where to bring my sister-in-law for dinner, here on her first visit to Philly! EVERYTHING was fabulous, as always...Fish-n-Chips best in city ( that was how we found this place originally years ago, when I googled, " best fish n chips in Philly," and NEVER disappointed...Dandelion Salad delicious and big enough to share....two kinds of bread served up prior to entree as well. Sister in law had Rabbit Pie and said it was delicious, especially the flaky pastry crust...as far as drinks, we had the Pimms Cup which is refreshing, light, and of course, tasty! We were full but definitely wanted something for dessert so we did the three scoops of ice cream/ sorbet: raspberry-beet, butter cookie, and flapjack- yum yum!!!! why not try it out during Restaurant Week, if you are not too sure.....but trust me, once you do? You'll be back!

We enjoyed having brunch at Dandelion for our daughter's birthday (and on another occasion, our son-in-law's birthday) . The food was delicious and the service excellent. Wish we could afford it more often!

I really liked Dandelion. The food and drinks were great and the servers were very attentive. however, the space upstairs was pretty cramped. We were a group of four and I couldn’t move my chair without hitting someone behind me or to my right. My friend sitting next to me had the same issue as there was a table for two built into the fireplace right next to her. We left immediately after eating but probably would have stayed longer if we felt more comfortable or relaxed in the space.

Had a wonderful start to our visit to Philadelphia with the delicious brunch. We will return and bring friends. It was a lively atmosphere which added to our celebration. Who expects quiet on a Sunday morning at 11 am ? It was perfect and we even found street parking.

We wanted to like Dandelion so much, but...
The inside is charming and eclectic and has a wonderful, homey vibe. The hostesses couldn't have been nicer. It was a about 3 degrees outside and windy, the day of the Mummer's parade. I had made reservations about a week ahead of time because I really wanted a nice brunch. When we arrived, we were seated by the door, where it was FREEZING. Everyone around us was wearing scarves and coats and hats, it was truly terrible. It was kind of annoying, because we did have a reservation, and this little table was obviously the worst place to be. Our server was kind of standoffish to the point of being rude- usually that's fine, I don't have to be best friends with the server, but this was excessive. Anyway- for a 20.00 eggs benedict, I do feel that the service could have been at least cordial, and not to have to wear my parka and hat and scarf the whole time. It was supposed to be a special meal and was disappointing.
