This was my first visit but it will not be my last. The server was very knowledgeable about the food and was willing to answer any questions I had about the ingredients or the meal.

My husband and I had delicious salads, roast beef sandwich, and the most interestingly flavied delicious mussels. The mussels portion was large with plenty of sauce to go with the baguette.
Our only complaint is the loudness of the music, which I asked to be lowered. The waitstaff also started cleaning up the room as if they were closing- it was 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. It made us feel hurried. Perhaps they wanted to go home and watch the Eagles playoff.
The food was fabulous, the experience could have been better.

Had a fun and casual dinner out on a Saturday night.

We were warmly greeted and welcomed to the restaurant even though we were a bit early.

Our request for a quiet both was granted and our server was friendly and attentive.

The burger was huge and delicious as was the cheese board and chicken liver parfait.

Great selection of beers and the atmosphere is unique and quirky.

We were a large party, originally 8 then became 10. The staff and especially Roxanne , our server, was patient, polite and Very accommodating! We all had a very nice brunch and we all agreed that we would return. Thank you Roxanne and Dandelion for making our special brunch a success.

The restaurant was nicely set up with different decor throughout. The waiters and waitresses were attentive- however our waitress seemed annoyed/upset with us the entire time. She came around and served us and poured water into our glasses- however it was preformed so passive aggressively that it really made the table quiet when she came around.

For the last 4 years, we have spent Christmas Eve here, and it's our go-to brunch spot, so it was a no-brainier as to where to bring my sister-in-law for dinner, here on her first visit to Philly! EVERYTHING was fabulous, as always...Fish-n-Chips best in city ( that was how we found this place originally years ago, when I googled, " best fish n chips in Philly," and NEVER disappointed...Dandelion Salad delicious and big enough to share....two kinds of bread served up prior to entree as well. Sister in law had Rabbit Pie and said it was delicious, especially the flaky pastry crust...as far as drinks, we had the Pimms Cup which is refreshing, light, and of course, tasty! We were full but definitely wanted something for dessert so we did the three scoops of ice cream/ sorbet: raspberry-beet, butter cookie, and flapjack- yum yum!!!! why not try it out during Restaurant Week, if you are not too sure.....but trust me, once you do? You'll be back!

food was excellent and interesting older building gave great ambiance. Seating was slightly cramped so ask for roomy space. Creative menu, busy crowd even on a Sunday night.

We enjoyed having brunch at Dandelion for our daughter's birthday (and on another occasion, our son-in-law's birthday) . The food was delicious and the service excellent. Wish we could afford it more often!

I really liked Dandelion. The food and drinks were great and the servers were very attentive. however, the space upstairs was pretty cramped. We were a group of four and I couldn’t move my chair without hitting someone behind me or to my right. My friend sitting next to me had the same issue as there was a table for two built into the fireplace right next to her. We left immediately after eating but probably would have stayed longer if we felt more comfortable or relaxed in the space.

We wanted to like Dandelion so much, but...
The inside is charming and eclectic and has a wonderful, homey vibe. The hostesses couldn't have been nicer. It was a about 3 degrees outside and windy, the day of the Mummer's parade. I had made reservations about a week ahead of time because I really wanted a nice brunch. When we arrived, we were seated by the door, where it was FREEZING. Everyone around us was wearing scarves and coats and hats, it was truly terrible. It was kind of annoying, because we did have a reservation, and this little table was obviously the worst place to be. Our server was kind of standoffish to the point of being rude- usually that's fine, I don't have to be best friends with the server, but this was excessive. Anyway- for a 20.00 eggs benedict, I do feel that the service could have been at least cordial, and not to have to wear my parka and hat and scarf the whole time. It was supposed to be a special meal and was disappointing.

We had the cheese board as an appetizer and it as delicious. For main courses we had a shepherds pie and a chicken salad. They were very mediocre. The coffee was so incredibly acidic that we could not drink it. Please find a new coffee to serve to your guests.

Spectacular experience all around. Consistently great food with some unique twists on the traditionals. The architecture, themed rooms, overall cozy ambience, and service make this one of our favorite spots in the city -especially on a frigid snowy night.

We loved it!!! Went here for a date night and had a blast. Beautiful holiday atmosphere, and it felt just like a London Pub (and I used to live in London!). Also great vegetarian options for me, my husband had a delicious steak. Good beer list and friendly server! Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped here for lunch while visiting Philly. The food was fantastic, locally sourced and creative menu. The tea time from 3-5 was nice also with finger sandwiches and such. The service was also fantastic and really contributed to a great lunch! This place is highly recommended for lunch or dinner!

We LOVED the look of the place. It is beautiful inside & out. The staff was VERY friendly & helpful. However, diners are stuffed in like sardines. It's incredible that one would think the dining experience could be pleasurable packed so tightly to neighboring tables that one hears more of their conversations than one's own. While the food was tasty, it was overpriced. I've had as good a meal at a fast food chain. (I ordered what they're most known for!!!) My husband ordered one of their special cocktails. Again, tasty but not outstanding and for that price I expect better than "a good drink". Maybe it's because it's the holidays that it was overcrowded and just "good". But, as a visitor to Philly, I'll never know.

We ordered an elaborate High tea service that we had before and enjoyed very much. Mind you the manner and service is as important as the actual tea, pastries and finger sandwiches. On this occasion, our server acted like she was angry about something and put our service down in a less than genteel manner. And at the end she brought us the absolutely wrong check!

Food was delicious and the service was great! The only problem was that there is no elevator and I liked the ambiance better upstairs. It was a little noisy downstairs and a bit cold. My older friend was not able to climb up the stairs so we had to eat downstairs.
