Great place for cozy dining, with friends or partner!! Beautiful English style pub, great food and cocktails, great service! Little pricey but for the experience totally worth it!!
Food cold and rushed.
Awesome time at this place as always
Fabulous atmosphere and food- highly recommend visiting
Delicious food with attentive, friendly service. British pub fare at its height.
The Dandelion is a very dark restaurant with cafe food in a good atmosphere. Why did they put us in between two other tables while the rest of the space was as good as empty? No privacy, but they served us well. The food was reasonable, good portions.
The staff was absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and the manager not only talked to us but he even made some recommendations. The food was fantastic and they sat us with a great view of center city. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion. My mother turned 55 and they even brought her out a free desert! 5/5 10/10
The service was ok, the food was extremely salty! Ambiance was great, very pricey.
Phenomenal all around. Joe, was a great server! The Rabbit pie was perfection in a bowl, and the coffee was delicious.
We loved the food and the service. Very kind with the kids and very fast for their plates.
It was for my kid’s first year birthday. The restaurant was kid friendly and we blew a candel together. Foods and cocktail were good. Service was fantastic! Thank you for giving us a great memory.
Loved it! Noise level was great for conversation! Awesome food.
As usual the food was great. I would have given it 6 stars. But enveloping our entire meal was a decidedly unhealthy din of noise. Therefore, 2 stars off for the noise. At least some of the problem was due to the music. As the room filled up talking loud was the only way to be heard over the music and other dinners. This forces everyone else to start screaming. Since you could only hear the music as noise I asked that it be turned down. Astonished I listened while the staff told us the couldn’t because there was only ONE volume control for what appeared to be at lease 7 rooms on 4 levels. That’s like a home audio system with one volume control for the living room, dining room, bedroom and the patio.
The noise level was that of a chainsaw or hammer drill, 105 decibels.
The food is good enough that will return but with over the ear earphones or earplugs.
English pub meets as close to find dining as you can get without the fine dining price but certainly the care and quality. Excellent cocktail menu. Will definitely be back to try more of everything. Server Michael was professional and excellent.
Service was spectacular; the staff was very attentive without being intrusive and the food was divine.
Another great lunch at the Dandelion. We started with the pickled beet foot jar with olive tapenade, whipped ricotta and crostini. I ordered the grilled chicken breast sandwich which was very good and my husband had the roast beef sandwich which he enjoyed. By then, we were stuffed, but our lovely waitress brought out a small dish of buttermilk ice cream, which was phenomenal! One of our favorite places to dine.
It was a really cute and charming place. Romantic atmosphere. And the food was really good, and good portions. The staff was really nice and knowledgeable
Everything was excellent! The decor to the food to all of the staff was amazing! This is my new favorite when visiting Philly!
Great food the brioche French toast is otherworldly! Great Bloody Marys too! Wow awesome meal!
We loved Dandelion and if not in the city for a few days for vacation would have easily gone back to eat again.
Had a great time! Sat in a lovely area and service was great. Will definitely be returning
We both had the burger and it was delicious. Our server was great - so friendly and attentive :) Will be back next time we're in town!
Amazing food, quick service and such unique ambiance/ atmosphere. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and the desserts are great too
Great food, fast service
Overall great atmosphere, however food was a bit overpriced for what it was. Shepherd's Pie was good, but nothing special.
It's been couple years since we had dinner at Dandelion, this week I had lunch and dinner. Both lunch and dinner were delicious, the service great. We looking forward to our next visit, there are entree we still want to try.
The Dandelion is a fabulous restaurant for brunch. I’m usually lucky enough to get in the “Dog Room”, which my family loves. The food and service is just perfect!
Chicken tandoori was amazing.
If you are looking for a fairly priced, better quality pub food stop, this is your place. It is not a fine dining experience which you might expect based upon its location and some of the website pictures. I would call it an aging charm setting with a very loud crowd from local neighbors with small children to tourists. It plays to those strengths well.
We had a great dinner and drinks and enjoyed the culinary experience. Waiter might have been having a bad day, or whatever, he wasn’t as cordial as Jolly, the manager who was an awesome guy as were the rest of the staff! Overall I’d recommend for reasonable price / very good foood value! I’d go back for sure!
Really lovely place - bustling garden decor on the outside, carpets and dog portraits and all manner of quirky things on the inside. Their brunch options very recommended, and how cute is it that they offer high tea? Partner and I got the royal occasion high tea platter - it's tasty and more food than it looks. I will say it's pricier than I'd like, but not moreso than other novelty places that offer a similar dining experience. I wouldn't come here regularly, but I'd def recommend checking the place out if you're in the area. Great option for a fun date, or a lively brunch with friends.
They stopped using OpenTable you guys might want to revise the option of Dandelion on your app
Perfect for after work happy hour. Cool, energetic vibe. Wine + food decent.
It was so loud that I couldn’t here my husband speak. We had appetizers. The deviled eggs were great. We had ricotta and bread. They served big pieces of bread with the dip. It was not great, but it filled us up. We were happy to leave without ordering more food. One bad appetizer and the noise level had us running out the door.
I visited here with a friend during happy hour and we loved the service, drinks, food and atmosphere!
Great food - salmon was fantastic. Deviled eggs great.
Close seating was a bit of a bummer.
Our meal was great, it is as simple as that. We had an array of small plates with wine. A bit loud but we could carry on a conversation.
Great place for a evening out. I enjoyed the drinks and plates.
Thank you for a truly memorable meal! The service was exceptional! It was my first visit and certainly not my last.
