Great British pub experience. Special building and staff were helpful and friendly. Sat in front of a fire as we were 10 min early for our reservation. Food was excellent and prompt.

I was excited to have a special lunch at the dandelion with my daughter to celebrate her new job. I made a reservation or we can advance for a late lunch at 1:15. I expected that to be honored but had to wait 25 minutes only to get a table in the lobby that had been occupied with that same amount of Time. It was a teeny table and we felt very crowded. It was annoying to have to wait and not even get to sit at a nice table after planning ahead we can advance the food was fine but way overpriced.

This was my second visit to the Dandelion, and I felt that the food was not as good as I recalled. I had the fish and chips, and while the fish itself was good (if a bit skimpy portion-wise), both the fish and especially the chips were really over-salted. I recalled the chips as having been delicious on my first visit, but this time, in addition to the salt, they seemed hard -- as if they'd been sitting around for a while. We were seated in the downstairs bar on a frigid day, next to a door. Although the door was not supposed to be used, particularly as an entrance, it wasn't barred and there was a gust of freezing air every time it opened. There was a wait for the table, which had been reserved, and no real options to move. I do think the bar has some atmosphere, and the fireplace area upstairs looked cozy. So maybe I'd go back for just drinks with a group.

Felt like staff was rushing us out the door. We weren’t finished with appetizers when food was already being delivered to table.

Went to the Dandelion for Afternoon tea with a friend. Had a great ambiance and was a very authentic restaurant, it felt just like we were in London. The scones were to die for! The only two things I would really complain about is the price for what you are getting and the tea list. $ 50 for 3 tiers of basically tapas is a little expensive. The food was great but I just think the prices were a little high. There was a short list of tea's that they offered which were still good teas but I feel that if they are offering an "Afternoon Tea" there really should be a long list of teas. The wine list is longer than the tea list.

My wife and I had dinner at The Dandelion after the Army-Navy game. We were visiting so I read a lot of reviews and decided on The Dandelion because of their great beer selection (me) and the unique food (my wife). We both had a great time - the decor was quaint and even had a real wood fire going, and the food and beer were great. What made it outstanding, though, was the service. Our waiter guided us to the perfect choice, whether it be in drinks or food, and the whole experience was special.

Charming Corner British inspired pub with fireplace and window seats, the décor is very traditional, we had Afternoon Tea, the place was packed busy, the 3 Tier tray was very lite on food for the price, the sweets were all really tasty but the savory sandwiches were teeny tiny and none of us loved any of them, The Afternoon Tea is a set menu we had to ask to have it all explained, which we felt the servers could have been more helpful. It was a nice time not rushed but we all left there hungry, after spending $100 including tip go figure

Went for brunch and enjoyed just about everything. The English breakfast, Eggs Benedict and scones were all great. Our only complaint was that our table was very cramped due to its positioning in a corner. Despite this minor inconvenience we plan on going back!

Was very pleased with our service and food. My boyfriend got the fish and chips and I got the bangers and mash. Two common British dishes but delicious and nicely sized. Bonus points for good bread.

Also want to say that our waiter was excellent, we had an 8:00 reservation and was hoping to catch a 9:00 show down the street. Without feeling like anything was rushed or neglected, our wait staff got us out with enough time.

The Christmas decorations are also very pretty

I love, love, love it here. This was my second visit and i can’t wait to go back. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious and feels like a hug from your favorite great aunt. But the food...THE FOOD....out. Of. Sight.
The menu is a foodie’s delight but it’s simple and fresh ingredients enable you to try new things and actually taste all of the components. Next time i go, i will be ordering something new to try and I’m excited at the mere thought!

Dandelion turned out to be the perfect place to linger with an old friend for@a two hour holiday lunch. Our waitstaffwas upbeat and experienced and did not rush us, and our cozy table by the bar upstairs was private enough for a good conversation. Sandwiches were very good and the mini treats snd roobois tea were excellent.

The Dandelion is the closest bar that Philadelphia has to an English Pub. It has a good authentic pub feel. It is always very busy and crowded. Reservations are a must. The food is good - I usually go for the pub classics like Shepherd’s Pie but my friend had Risotto which she said was very good. A good place for warm, comfort food on a cold evening.

Have walked by this place a hundred times and although the decor was very cool the name and the fact that people said it was a burger joint discouraged me. I wish I’ve tried it sooner. Will be back many more times.

First time at the Dandelion. The occasion was a birthday dinner celebration. Server was attentive, knowledgable, and friendly. Accommodating for dairy free options. Unfortunately ran out of their signature roast just before we ordered. If you want that option, get there before 7 pm. Alternative options were delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal. Very loud when restaurant is full, so difficult at times to carry on a conversation. Would ask for a different spot next time. We were seated upstairs, and our table was located really close to a group of 3 very loud talkers.

We were a party of eight and a baby on a Saturday night. The food and service were exceptional. We sat in the bar area and our table was perfect. The manager came to our table to check that everything was okay since our drinks took awhile to get to our table since the bar was very crowded. He took drinks off our bill which was a happy surprise. We definitely will be back.

Met up with a group of friends to "Make Xmas Great Again". Enjoyed a few beers in the bar before heading upstairs to eat. Love the Wells Bombardier and the busy pub atmosphere. Great English inspired gastro-pub food. The pork was outstanding....we had a slight problem with a flat pint of beer but apart from that we had a blast. Looking forward to coming back
