Best burger and fish and chips in town. Amazing service. Brilliant ambiance and drinks. Highly recommend to everyone.
Menu options were great. Server over-sold an appetizer that was average at best. Server was not attentive to aligning our lunch schedule timing needs.
It was great. Decoration and menu was outstanding
I was first for lunch and the greeters were warm and welcoming. By the time I left, the place was full, so they're doing something right! I had 3 first courses and dessert. The Wellfleet Oysters with Cucumber threads in a Mignonette Sauce were delicious and reminded me of a finely diced cucumber-lime relish I had for raw Oysters in Ireland. It was delicious! The Chilled Yellow Tomato Soup was GORGEOUSLY plated. The taste though was very tart, very vinegar forward. I got none of that delicate sweetness that Yellow Tomatoes can yield. The texture was lovely and the tapenade of Kalamata Olive and Pignolis was tasty, but also a bit tart. I could have used more salt, less vinegar. I had the Beef Tartar. I liked the interpretation, presented on a thin slice of crisped sourdough bread (I think it was Sourdough, very wide texture) but here too, the lusciousness of the beef was lost to tartness in the aioli. It was good, but I don't think I'd order it again. It was topped with cress that added the bitter note usually needed to cut the richness of Beef Tartar, but it wasn't needed here. Again, I'd have wanted more salt, less vinegar or mustard or whatever created that challenging edge to the flavor. The Eton Mess wasn't Eton Mess (which is easy to make) but it still was refreshing and tasty with Coconut Ice Cream topped with diced strawberries with about 3 mini meringue kisses (the size of mini Hershey Kisses) and micro-mint. I'd go back but to try other pub classics they have like Bangers & Mash, Shepherd's Pie, etc. I had a glass of Grenache with the beef that was good, not great. The decor at The Dandelion is as beautiful as O'Neill's Pub in Dublin, actually even a little nicer, and they have cozy unique spaces for varied party sizes. It was as though I was back on the old sod, right off St. Stephen's Green. And their beer selection looked enviable, if only I were a beer drinker. Again, the service was lovely. Definitely worth another shot.
A truly wonderful brunch
A classy British pub with all the ambience of Old London, and better quality than most places that offer traditional English dishes. Service was great, but boyfriend thought some of the food was under seasoned. However, makes even a tea hater like me appreciate a nice cup of tea! Definitely worth a try! Good for brunch!
Cutest little place ever!! Customer service was absolutely amazing from all staff. Great for a solo evening, group or date. The food was great as well. The dessert was to die for (toffee pudding) but the starter salad (baby gem caesar) and the main course (tandoori chicken) was also good!
My sisters, mom and I were celebrating a 50th birthday. The staff did their best to make the event special. We love Dandelion!!
Always a great time. No comments; only compliments. Love it here.
Wonderful atmosphere, loved it and so did my older mother. Great food and adorable presentation. The only issue was it certainly got very loud once more people started being seated (maybe due to the wood/metal walls) regardless, I'll absolutely be coming back to try the cask beers! 😊
Great food. Excellent attentive service. A little loud but easy conversation.
Every thing was excellent...the food, the wait staff and. the noise level because it was outside...
The hamburger was medium and not medium rare like a requested. Beyond that it was nothing special. Perhaps because they weren't busy service was SLOW. I like the place and would still recommend it - assuming this experience was an abberation
Charming interior. Freshly prepared food. Very friendly, efficient staff.
Quaint and cozy, homey food, craft cocktails, and excellent service. My new go to in Rittenhouse Square.
The ambience is perfection and fare always delicious.
Great Food and service!!
We are visiting from out of state and this restaurant was recommended to us. It was a wonderful experience enjoyed the food and Ambiance very much. We miss the roasted olives appetizer that was no longer on the menu.
Always amazing eating at the dandelion. Always.
You would be happy eating indoor or outside at this lovely restaurant
Staff will help you navigate the right libation for your meal or just b/c
Great for families, dates, or dining alone
Thank you to everyone at The Dandelion for a wonderful time and delicious food from start to finish
Great food and amazing Service
Brunch at Dandelion never disappoints! I love the fluffy, melt-in-your mouth goodness of the omelet, and the burger always packs a punch.
Birthday party for my friend
We had a delightful brunch at Dandelion. We loved both the bubbles and squeak and the eggs benedict. The bubbles and squeak was not at all what we expected, I wasn't sure how steak sauce and eggs sounded, but was very glad I went out on a limb and tried it! It will likely be my new "regular". Our brunch cocktails were fantastic as well. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be back!
Kara our server was friendly and knowledgeable
We sat outside in the pod on the street. It was nice although very hot that evening and a rain storm brewing. But overall everything was great
We had a belated anniversary dinner at the Dandelion and had a wonderful evening. Our server, Chris, made very helpful suggestions and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and the drinks were superb. Our only (minimal) complaint was that we were seated upstairs and it was a bit warm; however, it was an extremely hot day and I don't know that anywhere else we could have gone would have been much different. It did not affect our experience, nor were we disappointed in any way. We will definitely keep it on our list of places to return!
Went there for brunch with one of my girls. It was awesome
Make a reservation! We saw multiple people leave due to a 2 hour wait.
Also don’t be in a rush, everything happens very slowly in terms of being waited on. Everything was delicious.
Such cute ambiance, tasty food & nice staff! As a NY’er who dines out a lot, it was wonderful to stumble upon this gem. Really unique & will happily recommend to friends. Chips (fries) were exceptional.
We loved the atmosphere of this unique restaurant - so British! - so pub-like!
The menu offerings for Saturday Brunch were diverse and sounded delicious.
We thoroughly enjoy our experience at The Dandelion! I will plan to definitely return with a friend for Brunch again soon!
Excellent as always.
Loved the atmosphere. Food great. Definitely do again.
Great restaurant in a cool area. Loved the decor and ambiance. Sticky toffee pudding was delightful.
A consistent menu of pub favorites that are well prepared and served by a friendly staff
Great atmosphere and food. Service was outstanding as well. Would recommend for as a cozy reprieve from the bustle of the neighborhood.
It was tough deciding on an entree as they all sounded really good. My party shared multiple staters which were all delicious and finished up with a lamb shepherds pie that had a terrific gravy. They had a great selection of bottled beers and ciders. Finishing it all off with a pot of tea was perfect.
Such a unique experience. Waiter was excellent and food was great
Always a hit!
Always a consistent fabulous meal at Dandelion! A hidden gem in Philadelphia. Service was very good and efficient! Highly recommend ….
