Service was slow and not on par with this type of establishment. We had a 7:30 reservation. Table was ready and we were shown to table. However the table hadn't been properly prepared. No table settings. The hostess quickly set the table as we waited. As we sat, we noticed the table hadn't been cleaned properly, food debris and used napkin on the chair and floor under table. It was dark so it was difficult to see until standing behind table but a tough start. From that point one word, slow! Slow to be greeted by waiter. Slow to take orders. Slow to bus between courses. Slow to check on us. Slow to bring dessert menus. Again, to be fair, the waiter may have been overwhelmed by his station but it was impossible to tell. The food came out quickly once ordered. Food was solid. Menu somewhat limited. Atmosphere was great. Will give it another try. Probably try the pub side next time. We were here with a party of five for a Birthday, so a little disappointed.

We ordered Bangers & Mash and Rabbit Pie, both of which were delicious. Bangers and Mash was a good portion but the rabbit pie was very small. I know Rabbit is not cheap but it's not that expensive. I wouldn't order it again because of the portion size. But we do plan to visit again.

My husband and I loved the atmosphere. It was very warm and cozy. I had the Lamb Shepard’s pie and he had the Rabbit Pie. We had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious and I would 100% come back for more.

The restaurant was busy so reservations for brunch is a must. Food was good, atmosphere was great. My only complaint is that the server did not inform me that the side I ordered already came as a side for another dish. Had I known, I would have ordered a different side.

Food was excellent, if your looking for an intimate dinning experience this may not be the place, tables are close together and a little noisy. So if your in a group or like the energy of a crowd this is perfect. We enjoyed our time, the home made Ricotta was out of the world good. My burger was cooked to perfection. My wife's Steak & Chips melted in your mouth, tender with steak butter. I would go again!

We liked everything about this place, except the comfort of the table/seats. Very close together and cramped tables. Other than that, it’s a good spot. Good location, service, and food. Reasonable prices. For apps, shrimp pint and homemade ricotta. Very generous sizes and tasted fresh. Had the rabbit pie and steak and chips. Both were very good. Would return for sure.

The house made ricotta was absolutely DIVINE. I could eat that, alone, as a meal on the toasted sourdough any day. I ordered the lamb shepherd’s pie and it was deliciously balanced. Service and ambience were excellent. Dessert was exceptional. Not a single complaint or regret. I will definitely be back!!

Have heard a lot about dandelion and was very excited to come on Valentine’s Day. We ordered the cheese platter (excellent), Welsh rarebit (not terrible but kinda plain), I got the rabbit pie (amazing sauce but kind of overwhelms the taste of the rabbit) and she got steak (fantastic sauce.) My pimms cup was pretty good, more boozy than fruity tho. Everything was great - except our server. Sure she kept our waters full, but I had to grab her to ask for apps, she kept walking by us for the first ten mins. The male manager was very friendly and asked if everything was good, and helped clear stuff away while she was off. He eventually swiped my card because we were waiting for another ten mins or so for her to come back for that. Overall, we’ll definitely be back to try more food, hopefully we’ll have another server. But she could always be worse.

We had such a great time at the Dandelion for my birthday. Our server Gregory was so pleasant and fun. We enjoyed the deviled eggs to start with and then had the fish & chips, club sandwich, and the salmon. Everyone loved their dish. We finished off the meal with the petite treats and desserts and some tea and it was a perfect end for our lunch! Love the Dandelion!

The decor and food were amazing but when we initially sat down the entire dining room was filled and the noise level was so distracting - we could barely hear each other from across a small 2 person table. Overall positive and will likely go back!

If youre looking for a charming, cozy, and wonderfully atmospheric / eclectic restaurant with an outstanding menu (of food and drink, from brunch to lunch to dinner) you needn't look any further than this (English pub-themed) gem in Philly. I had been there a while back with authentic Brit buddies, who shared my high assessment ; and just recently with two pals from San Francisco - who felt it was a highlight of their East Coast trip. Take yourself and your friends and family there whenever you can ; you won't / cant be disappointed !

The service and atmosphere was great and my husband and I loved the deviled egg appetizer because the curry offers a nice twist t a classic. Our main meals were a bit heavy and "meh." Kind of plain. I got the "Royale" and my husband got the "English Breakfast" both were okay, but wouldn't recommend either. The "chips" also looked amazing so we ordered them but they were kind of soggy, not crispy as you'd think. Again, the fries could have used another depth of flavor. I'd recommend this place for drinks and apps, not for a meal.

The cheese board is always yummy although I do miss the honeycomb instead of just honey like the old days. The fish and chips are always a good choice. The skate sandwich was good as well.
