The Daily Dish never fails to satisfy. A reliable, interesting, 'local' restaurant.

Pleased to have made the Dish part of our 13th wedding anniversary celebration! Great staff, great food, relaxed outdoor patio. Oh, and the cocktails are awesome! And the house wines are delicious. We love this place, and try to make it over here at least once every couple of months.

The food is predictably good, as is the service...the smoke from the kitchen can be annoying...ditto the noise, but a good neighborhood find.

The pumpkin soup was scrumptious as was the main course. I had the rockfish and my friend had the salmon. Both were cooked to perfection.

The food is usually good but this time the broccoli was over salted and overcooked. The asparagus soup wasn't very good either. Overall, a real disappoinment.

Great place to bring kids! They have a very reasonable kids menu and the adult entrees are magnificent. The beer selection features very local beers (which is great in my opinion).

While the physical space is a bit shabby and ambience is lacking, the food was simple but very good--made fresh and very tasty. Great for a casual lunch or dinner.

Our dinner on a Saturday night with friends was, for the first time at the Daily Dish, a mixed bag. We were probably the last reservation at 8:15 but our waiter, who was new to us, acted as though it was midnight and he had to get home. He brought our entrees while we hadn't yet finished appetizers and was intrusive through the meal.
Apart from that annoyance, the food was delicious and imaginative.

A great and steady neighborhood restaurant, but folks enjoy driving to it too.

Extremely bad food.

Our waiter, an "old hand" at Daily Dish, did a marvelous job of handling our multi-generational table. I think the problem was insufficient kitchen help, especially in delivering a brownie sundae as dessert that our waiter delivered swiftly but had been delayed by the kitchen.

We had family in town for the new year and made reservations at this little gem. When we got there, I realized I had been there years ago but didn't remember much about it. We were very satisfied with our experience, the service was great, the food was great and the ambiance was great.

Great food at a good price in a casual setting. Everything from gourmet entrees to pizza and burgers. The venison was a seasonal treat. My family comes every few months and we’re never disappointed.

We have been at the Daily Dish multiple times for Brunch and for Dinner. There is an excellent chef -- the food is always excellent. Friendly, non-fancy setting and moderate prices. A favorite place for us to go for an evening out or a brunch with friends.

Great meal last night at the Daily Dish, a neighborhood gem in Upper Northwest. Great menu items, ambiance and 1/2 price wine. The crab cakes and the salmon were BiG hits. I’ll definitely go back!

After eating here many, many times, it was really time to leave a review. We call DD the GS-14 hangout. DD is a mix of older, empty nesters, young families, singles watching the game and hanging at the bar. It's easy to get to, plenty of parking, and while it can be a little loud outside, it's lovely on the patio. During the week, everyone is still wearing their government badges and sharing a beer or a glass of wine and pizza. We love this place, whether we are with teens, with kids, with Grandma, with friends, with neighbors. The soups are always wonderful and seasonal, I love the mushroom app on the regular menu, the chicken and pastas are lovely, the burgers, sliders, pizzas are great and *always* leave room for dessert -- the ice creams are terrific and the bread pudding and apple crisp last night were excellent. From the daily menus, we've loved the short ribs, the risotto, soups, and the seasonal salads. Scallops and fish have been good too. I had the new apple, prosciutto, fennel one last night and it was delicious. We love the local beers. We've gone for New Year's Eve and it was terrific. The service is almost always attentive and always informative.

We hadn't been here before. There was a large variety of seasonal dishes in addition to the regular menu. One of us ordered a pizza off the regular menu and the other, a seasonal salmon dish (which was outstanding). Dessert was not as good as the entrees. Service was quick and helpful.

I had the salmon dinner, and my friend had a pizza. We thought both were excellent! Our server, Ari, was extremely professional and personable!

Drove from VA and collected friend in silver spring who had not been to Daily Dish - we had a delicious and unusual brunch -- we both will return!

We were down visiting our daughter at UMD and just stumbled upon this online. Sounded good - thought we would try. AMAZING! If we lived close to Silver Spring we would be here all the time. Now we will have to wait until we come visit again - but there is no other place we will go to - It was absolutely delicious and the wait staff was incredibly friendly and professional.

All entrees were well-prepared and interesting, with plenty of choices. Quality is very high for a casual restaurant, and the outside dining area is very pleasant.
