Fried calimari was amazing! My table mates foods were great. My ahi tuna steak was overcooked and lacked flavor. Other than that, a great experience. The waterfront is beautiful, food came out piping hot, and service staff was friendly and accommodating.

Had high hopes but was really disappointed. Took 45 minutes from the time we ordered to the time the appetizers came out. More than that, all service staff avoided coming to our table during that time. The food was average. The staff tried to make amends, but the damage was done. I would avoid in the future.

Made a reservation for 12 people about six months in advance because I knew I wanted my out of town guests to have excellent Boston seafood for my graduation dinner and the Daily Catch did not disappoint! The patio was the perfect place to watch the sun set and the weather was lovely. A very special night.

I heard this was one of the best seafood restaurants in Boston, maybe this place is just coasting on the reputation of the North End location, because I was underwhelmed. First, I chose the Seaport location over the North End one because they took reservations and the North End one doesn't, so I was extremely confused that when I arrived at the time of my reservation they told me to sit at the bar and wait! They didn't explain anything (i.e. we are just finishing up cleaning your table, it'll just be a few minutes, etc) they just shooed us to the bar! Poor service.

The food: underwhelming. We got a fried calamari and lobster and crab cake appetizer. Both were just kinda ok, and definitely didn't taste fresh. We both got the black pasta with scallops added, again, just kinda bland with a bunch of oil at the bottom.

Really disappointing for the price and for where they are. Try the North End version if you must, or one of the other great Boston seafood spots.

Due to weather the patio was unavailable and due to the kitchen, the restaurant was extremely hot. The portion sizes and presentation were great.

For the price, over-rated. And the service was poor.

Our server was very nice, however, didn't get a meal correct. One of the people in our party specifically ordered a grilled dinner to avoid the breadcrumb toppings (due to celiac) but received the broiled dinner with the breadcrumb toppings. It took awhile to get the new meal and the rest of us were done eating. They did accommodate us by not charging for the meal. They don't have a 'full bar', only wine or beer. The meals in general were fine, not really outstanding. I guess I would expect an 'outstanding meal' for being located on the waterfront and charging extra for sides. Also, if you're looking for gluten free, try another place since there are not a lot of options (and no GF pasta).

If you want a real experience at the Daily Catch go to the one in the North End......

Only good thing about the Seaport location is the view, they’ll make a reservation and they take credit cards.

That said the food was OK. When I told them my shrimp was over cooked...... no solution other than I’m sorry

We came here to celebrate a special occasion and despite the TERRIBLE weather, we had a lovely, cozy evening with excellent food and ever better service. The team at Daily Catch knew we were celebrating so they paid us special attention which was 100% not necessary but 100% appreciated. Just sweet people serving good food with a great view (even from inside during pouring rain). We'll be back!

Food very disappointing. Only fried calamari app was good. Black pasta was decent, but we ordered shrimp as an addition an got 3 overcooked shrimp for $9. Tuna vinegarette was bizarre. Decent sized tuna steak with heavy, black balsamic vinegar reduction, which completely masked and overwhelmed the fish. Will not be back.

Food was amazing! The scents from the kitchen caught you as you walked in. Great ambience. Ben amazing waiter and Louie quite gracious. Little Neck Clams from RI WERE OUTSTANDING. Swordfish perfectly cooked. And Cappuccino the best.

The fish portions were small. Being in Boston, I had hoped to have some fresh fish. I got the idea that nothing was fresh. Our server was very vague. The clam chowder was like broth - not the best clam chowder we've had. The calamari meatballs were interesting - worth trying since they are unique. Our server was very friendly.

We were very disappointed with our experience. We have wanted to try The Daily Catch in the North End for a while, but we were staying in the Seaport area and were able to walk to The Daily Catch Seaport, so decided to try it. We should have ubered to the North End. They don't offer cocktails as they have only a cordial license. I ordered a vodka citron on the rocks that was sickeningly sweet. Absolut Citron is one of my "go to drinks" and I have never had this issue anywhere else. I feel it should have been disclosed to me that this wasn't a normal vodka citron. My husband would have loved a martini, but settled for a glass of wine. The bread that was brought to the table was stale. The lobster/crab cakes that we had for an appetizer were the best part of our meal. I had grilled swordfish with seasonal vegetables for my main course. It was absolutely terrible. The fish had no flavor whatsoever and the vegetables were overcooked. My husband's pasta dish was better than my meal, but nothing at all special. I was still hungry because i had only picked at my $28 dinner, so I wanted dessert. They were out of the warm gingerbread sundae that I wanted, so we got a bowl of gelato. It was a very tiny serving for the price. My advice: don't go! There are many, many wonderful restaurants in Boston where you can get a delicious meal and not feel ripped off.

I used to go to the original Daily Catch on Hanover Street years ago but it's always so hard to get into that small place, and then the one across from Jimmy's until the redevelopment of that area. Food was always special if you love Italian style seafood - including their special dishes, Lobster Fra Diavolo which is loaded with different seafood and a flavor fest, Monk Fish marsala, which, if you've not had Monk fish or even if you have like me, this dish is a killer! I prefer their "served in the pan" dishes- any of them! The sauce is dead on, chowders really flavorful. Can't miss here. I was so psyched that the food was as good as when I used to visit. I'll be back soon. Keep it up guys and please don't change..............

After reservation, we were given a very small 2x2 feet table on the entrance hallway. We will never go back again. Food was ordinary in Boston standard.
