Lots of flying insects inside, dinner took a long time to get but was worth it.
You pay for the location. The food is over priced and nothing special. Very average.
A nice spot on the harbor
Food is decent
Table & silverware was A little dirty
Birthday dinner was a good experience. Food wasn’t great, but service and mood were great
The service was awful and the food subpar and lacking flavor.
Black pasta, shrimp cocktail and mussel marinara was amazing! And their view was so fantastic! Recommend to go there for dinner time! Service was a little bit slow but was understandable. Before we ordered, Our server explained that the service would be a bit slow because of group dining. But The food actually came earlier than what We expected but cocktails came a bit late! Overall, good experience!
Other than the server, who seemed just out of sorts that night, we really enjoyed. Liam, the boy who seated us, was awesome - great personality for the restaurant business!
Our waiter was great, but something was going on in the bar (over worked and no help), and our entrees took forever (kitchen staff was way behind too). Our half chicken looked like half a Guinea hen. My pasta was good and prices were a little steep. There was a festival down the block so maybe the other half of thier staff was there.
Too noisy and very poor service it’s quite impossible to speak
Perfect birthday dinner outside
Pasta was perfectly al dente, seafood was soooo fresh, and our waitress was fun to talk to. Such a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience on the waterfront!
Beautiful location. Our server was great! Food was okay. It was hot and noisy. Crab cakes and clams were good.
The food was not good and it was expensive. Warm beer and mediocre service. The location is great but I'm not sure it's worth the price. Maybe just get white wine and ask for ice?
Thank you for the delicious, perfectly cooked dinner.
Wonderful server! Very sweet & helpful! Ambience was always beautiful! Special occasion to celebrate my husband’s successful surgery!!
We were so excited to be having dinner right on the water! But it was a very disappointing experience right from the beginning. The server took our order and we were very specific about a food allergy. Our first course was delivered to the table covered with the allergen we had specified. Then after replacing that dish, our entrees were delivered to the table before our salads had arrived.
If the food had been outstanding, we would probably have given them a pass but it was just so-so.
Wonderful cuisine and fast prep! Not the best service, but adequate.
Loved everything from the view, food, & service. We will be back.
Amazing food, amazing view by the water, and amazing casual friendly service.
Outside dining was all that was available the Sunday that we visited. The view of Boston and the harbor was wonderful but there is a walkway around the restaurant so be prepared to see pedestrians walking by. They specialize in calamari and squid ink pasta. We had the fried calamari appetizer and it was a plain batter that was deep fried. Not the best I have had in other places. Waiter was brand new and service was incredibly slow. They were out of Guinness but we were not told until almost 20 minutes into our dinner. If you want a great view of Boston consider that they food is okay but there are other places inseaport that are better.
I have been a fan of the original in the North End since it opened in 1973. I also enjoy the Brookline location. Both are small. This new large space has one of the best views in Boston. The food was from the same recipe and was AWESOME. However the bar service was terrible, with a dozen people standing waiting to order food or drinks. We waited over 30 minutes trying to order appetizers. Our table was ready before we even were acknowledged. At the table our waiter was decidedly indifferent to our order. Our appetizers actually never arrived. Our food order was wrong. There was no hint of an apology. We did get an extra free dessert. I was surprised. I actually plan to return to Brookline Thursday. It is unlikely I will return to the Seaport location. There are many other great restaurants in the area.
Amazing restaurant and ambiance
Food prepared perfectly!
Great restaurant!! Healthy and delicious. Loved the agilio oglio as well as the calamari linguini with red sauce. Love sitting outside!
Made a reservation for two for my friends birthday. The food was delicious and the service was good. It was really busy, as I imagine it does on weekends. Definitely worth making a reservation if you don’t want to wait long for a table.
Food quality was below par, but the views and ambiance are outstanding. Don't expect your "foodie" side to be satisfied, but it's a wonderful place to gather with friends.
Food was great. Bar was terrible all night
My husband and I went with friends to celebrate the guy's birthdays. Although it took a while to first be approached by our server, he was great and very accommodating there after. We got some oysters, tuna tartare, and garlic bread to start. All delicious. My husband and I shared the lobster Fra Diavolo and asked for a little extra heat and they delivered! Lots of mussels, clams, a little less shrimp and of course the lobster. We thoroughly enjoyed this meal.
Excellent seafood with a great view of the city
Great food, wonderful ambience. Spectacular harbor view on a beautiful summer evening.
Food had no flavor Pasta with Calmari and Claims not many. Tasted like out of a can. Fried Calimari greasy a bit over done. Asked for straw for drink and waitress said save the ocean. No call for that. She spent more time at other tables. The best thing was the view. Hanover Street still the Best Daily Catch.
Great food and location. Eat outside; it's a treat to look out over the harbor.
Overall, very good experience. We went on a great night, weather wise, & sat at a table overlooking the water. I had the shrimp & scallops scampi which was very tasty & delicate. My husband ordered the scallops & linguine. Would recommend going with the marinara sauce instead of the white sauce for that because it did not have much flavor. The service was good.
Great for families. Excellent location right on the pier with a large patio. Perfect for families if weather is nice. Best part is ability to easily jump on picturesque walkway for nice stroll after dinner
Food was “ok”, but the service was terrible. Incredibly slow to get or first course and main course. Wait staff didn’t check in on our meal once and we also didn’t order coffee or dessert as we didn’t want to wait longer than we had for the meal.
Disappointed! Tuna was cold, stuffed calamari very chewy, full of bread stuffing.
We got stuck in a corner of the patio, which is just an ugly old brick patio, but our server was very nice and helpful. The food was mediocre. Got the squid ink pasta which was tough and chewy, though the scallops were good. Bar is weirdly limited. Can’t tell why it’s so popular.
The food quality was decent but unimpressive. The outdoor setting was a nice spot.
Visited town with family and was impressed how the restaurant was.
Google maps although directed me to the wrong location and used Waze.
All good. Will visit again soon.
Celebrated my birthday with my family. This was a great spot. We were lucky to get perfect weather. The view is amazing and the food was delicious. Our waiter was great and then I was surprised when everyone sang Happy Birthday. I would definitely come again. Thanks Daily Catch for a great meal and a memorable Birthday.
