Showed up well before reservation and was seated late. Was cold where our seat was and asked to move and was informed there weren't anymore. The were at least two empty two patron tables and one was never occupied during our dinner.
$20 over charge for items not ordered. Charged both incorrect and correct bill. Still waiting for correction.
Super slow service, but very good food! We went on a Tuesday and it was busy and we waited for a long long time for food and even for water.
Absolutely, one of the must go places to eat in Tucson! It is our go-to place before a concert at The Fox because it is within walking distance, quiet, great food & service. You will not be disappointed! 🤗
Great service from Celeste. As a foodie I took her recommendations, and loved them all. From appetizer, salad, entree and the Coconut cream pie.
Kitchen doesn’t open for dinner until 5:00 PM, so don’t bother with 4:30 reservations.
Prompt greeting by the hostess. We were a little early but were able to be seated without waiting. The server and busser both provided fast, friendly and professional service. Alex, the busser recognized the need to move the patio heater closer to the table when the wind picked up and took care of that without being asked. Not just for our table but all the others. The server asked if separate checks were needed, which is a nice touch. Food was well prepared, attractively presented and tasty. Overall another great experience.
Busy Saturday night...our table for 6 ready upon arrival...excellent cocktails....for me, the perfect atmosphere. In the multiple times I have eaten there , and had a variety of the menu offerings and specials, I have always been very happy with the food. It is a wonderful mix of humanity enjoying great food in a unique setting, in a fun downtown...
Great hip spot with good food, cool decor and excellent pie. Make a reservation or risk a long wait.
This was our first visit because we live in the foothills and rarely eat downtown. The waiter was particularly helpful in helping us with house specialties. The food was excellent. We will be back!
A++ excellent food, great service and a vibrant crowd
Fun location in a historic hotel (Hotel Congress). Very lively vibe. Really good food - innovative and local. Good happy hour
First time at the cup cafe and definitely will be a return customer. Food was excellent and service top notch!
All five of us thought the food was delicious. The cocktails and service were good too. The only complaint was that the noise level was too high for easy conversation.
Pre-concert. The server absolutely bent over backwards to make sure our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner, despite being over the top busy. The hostess was a little grumpy though.
This is the third time I have eaten here and the food has always been excellent, service is great and the location is near lots of fun places.
We enjoyed a pleasant dinner on the patio and our server, Taylor, was outstanding. She was pleasant, professional, and very competent!
I drove down to Tucson for a show at the Fox Theatre, and I stayed at the Congress. I tried two of the Cup Cafe cocktails, which were both good. For dinner I had the pork schnitzel. It was a huge plate of food, and all was tasty--perhaps a little too greasy, but not bad. There were many desserts to choose from, and the coconut cream pie was very good.
Excellent food, very good service.
We had a great time here! Our server Kevin (?) was attentive and made great recommendations. I loved the salmon salad and you can’t skip the coconut cream pie! The slices are big enough to share! We will definitely go back next time we’re in Tucson.
Consistent, friendly, professional service paired with quality food and beverages in a unique downtown setting. Hard to beat and they have a great happy hour.
As always, the service was excellent, the “Sidecars” were tasty and the food was perfectly prepared and yummy. There is always great people watching on the patio, but especially during “Dillinger Days.” My favorite restaurant in Tucson!
4 of us dined here for dinner on a Thursday night and our meals and service were fantastic. Best place we have found in Tucson so far!
We had a birthday dinner for 5 at your wonderful restaurant, and everything was terrific, especially the food and service. Thank you.
The food was spectacular, prepared by chef Joe. The service and food is always constantly great. Thank you cup cafe!
Great food & great service! Loved spending time on the patio listening to Tom Walbanks!
For me, to sit at the Cup Cafe bar for dinner is always a great experience. The service from Alex and David is always prompt, friendly and professional. The food is perfectly prepared, served at the right temperature and tastes great. The bakers make some of the best desserts and the staff and managers work together seamlessly.
Every time I go to the CUP I get great service, fantastic food and great dinning experience. Can't beat the location and the price you pay.
Wonderful food and terrific service make this place a go to spot.
Fun funky atmosphere, professional service, and a well executed menu with lots of nice dishes. Don't forget the desert...
First time there.....simply lived it.....yummy food very cool and inviting people and place
The Cup is our favorite Tucson restaurant. It has many great vegetarian options and wonderful desserts. It has great ambiance. It also doesn't play loud music that drowns out conversation, like so many other restaurants do.
We both enjoyed our meals at The Cup. We started with some of their delicious cocktails and were satisfied with their house wines with our main courses. The spinach salad was very good, and large enough to share. We were both very happy with our main courses of the pork schnitzel and the stuffed chicken breast. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, which we kept seeing & wanting...maybe next time.
7 pm on Christmas Day is not the ideal time to eat out. Everything was ok but not up to the Cup’s usual standards.
Excellent food, great service. Fish and Chips were great!
The food never disappoints and the lovely Hotel Congress is such a great old building!
All good but food took 40 minutes after ordering. Made for a rushed meal to get to ATC on time.
I feel like it’s my home away from home!
The food is wonderful and the service impeccable. I appreciate having my dietary needs accommodated. My usual server, Celeste, is lovely and so kind.
Food was solid for the most part but service was awful 45 minutes and we hadn’t even ordered yet...
definitely get dessert though..
Normally, the food is amazing. Ordered the prime rib and was very disappointing. It was mostly inedible fat and gristle. I never would have put it on a plate.
