   The restaurant is very cold. We didn’t go there in the really cold spell but it was still too cold. Staff really not that interested. Kept propping the outside door open to assist them. Food was ok. No alternative to Xmas menu. Will not be returning.

   I had this afternoon tea on a Thursday, it wasn't particularly busy, however , I waited over half an hour. The sandwiches were ok, the filling was better than the bread they were on which tasted dry as if it had been sat for quite a while. There was one scone with no fruit which had been toasted and was stone cold, so not toasted before the food came out - maybe it was to cover up it was also stale. The cakes also lacked imagination, 2 pieces of dry toffee cake and 2 chocolate brownies, which were probably the best thing on offer. I definitely wouldn't recommend trying this afternoon tea, my bill was just over £40 & I was left feeling more ripped off than having had a treat. Sadly I think they are living off the location and not the quality of the food and there are far too many nice restaurants in London for me to choose to visit this one again

   We had 3 shared platters between 8 of us and it was ample. The waitress was extremely helpful. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and loved the music.

    Food and price point good. Good location but probably better to be outside to truly enjoy entertainment. Waiting staff/service atrocious. Possibly poor training. When asked what coffees they do, responded with “the usual”! People at next table had a dietary requirement due to a medical condition (cancer recovery) and the waitress showed no desire to understand or empathise or help and just said “I’ll give you 5 more minutes” this incensed me and so I tried to help them to choose from the menu. We didn’t pay all the service charge because of the above and when she challenged it, we said we are not paying that as the service has been atrocious. Her response was to roll her eyes. We were greeted on the way out by someone else and asked if we wanted to speak to the manager. Didn’t feel there was much point at that stage as the experience was already spoilt and we won’t go back.

    All three of us had a great time, the food was really tasty and well cooked. I had the veg sausages and the others the Lincolnshire ones and a stake. We all went ‘mmm’ upon our first bites. There was also a heater by us which was fab and we could adjust it. The Prosecco was gorgeous too, we will definitely be returning as this is such a great spot for a pre theatre supper.

    Great food from a well thought out limited menu with choices for meat, fish and Veggie/vegan options. The wine was good and at a reasonable price. Two people, two courses, bottle of wine, £95 all in is pretty good value to me.

    It’s a great place. The ambience is warm, service attentive and efficient. We had a slight issue with one of our dishes but our server and management were very responsive and helpful. Great stuff! We’ll be back again.

    Great evening but a little bit cold. Lovely food - I had the beef roast and it was delicious plus came with lots of vegetables. We went with some visitors and they really liked the music in the outside area. Great experience and meal. Service could have been a little better but otherwise I would recommend.

    Hi. The young lady who served us was based at Skinker's a while back and was excellent there and is still spot on - she is always cheerful and polite The only criticism, is the need to have the door open, because obviously, they want to appear open and welcoming - unfortunately, that meant on the day we went it was a bit 'cool' in there Definitely will be back and soon

    I must say my group of friends and I were massively disappointed! The location of the place seems to be the positive side but everything else seems problematic. The staff were not attentive, seemed almost indifferent and with poor communication skills. We were waiting for 5-6 minutes for someone to show up at door so we can go to our reserved table. It took them another 20 minutes to take our order after multiple attempts calling them. And the place was not even busy. Eventually the order came back wrong almost for everyone and food /coffee were of poor quality especially for the price we paid. Overall I would only suggest it for its location and only. Otherwise, waste of money!

    I took my husband for his birthday and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the service impeccable. We had a table by the window, which was lovely watching the performers. Will definitely be going back. Thank you.

    Loved every minute if it. Our waiter was very attentive. The food was superb. We were seated as requested in the courtyard and enjoyed live music and song. The atmosphere was magic. An extra thankyou to our fabulous waiter who was so friendly and helpful. We were only in London for the day, celebrating our re-union after many months apart. It was fabulous. X We will definitely be back.

    The app used to order is not the most user friendly and I accidentally ordered two of one item as it was not clear I had put one in the basket. I missed this when I confirmed the basket and did realise until the two turned up. The wine bar offered to refund this but it would involve filling in forms to go to head office and we didn’t have the time to complete these. You also have to order and pay for drinks and (possibly) each course separately which is inconvenient and time consuming. Service was incredibly slow. We finally got our main course 70 mins after arrival after chasing it. There is a very limited menu compared to pre covid and had less available than that shown on their website. Our starter of smoked salmon was very generous except just crouton was insufficient to go with the generous helping of salmon. The roasts were also very generous and we couldn’t finish all the veg however the meat was over cooked.

    Arrived a little early for dinner prior to going to the theatre. We were shown to our table and advised to use the QR code to order via our phones, fine if you have a phone with you! Eventually given the menu and we were utterly shocked at how dire this was. Having eaten here several times over the years we thought this was a safe bet; how wrong one can be. We left without ordering and will definitely not be returning.

    3 of us were seated for lunch. Bit of a faff ordering using their online service, connectivity dipped in and out. Very noisy down there. I resented the level of service charge considering we ordered the food ourselves, they literally only delivered it to our table. I would have collected it myself to save the £15. Food adequate. One of us ordered a steak medium, it arrived well-done. The linguine was bland. None of us were inspired by the dessert menu. Probably won't rush back.

    We had a lovely evening at The Crusting Pipe. Each table is allocated for a min 2 hours (dependent on party size), so we didn't feel rushed to get through our dinner. We ordered our food through the website link and were pleasantly surprised at the speed of service from order to table delivery. All COVID guidelines were followed and the staff were friendly and provided great service.

    Excellent service from extremely friendly staff. We weren’t rushed until the next booking was due to arrive, it would of been nicer to have had been told a bit earlier that our time was nearly up as we had just ordered another bottle of wine. However, the waitress helped by providing take away containers. Food was good although limited choice which atm is par for the course.
