The Crown is a beautiful, thatched public house in an award winning village between the towns of Aylesbury and Thame. It has been operated by David Berry since 1999 and in that period it has been listed in all the major guides. Our food is well known in the area for being a mix of traditional and eclectic at fair prices. Our selection of beers are very popular and the wine list, whilst short, covers most tastes.

An early Saturday supper, plenty of choice, wines and beers too. The smoked haddock was my main and delicious. Not too smoky. Nothing to be negative about. Good brasserie type food in a attractive country pub. Friendly locals as well. We will return for the Picpoul wine by the glass.

lovely village pub with relaxed atmosphere and lots of character. Food fairly priced, wholesome and generous portions. Great for a fun night out.

Restaurant was unusually quiet, but did not detract fromi us enjoying a pleasurable evening. Perhaps a bonus, as a party of eight, we can be noisy! Food excellent and all staff were very accommodating and attentive. This is a brilliant pub.

Very good evening, food and drink all lived up to expectations of ourselves and our friends. Who can resist the Friday night fish and chips? We will do it again.

good food friendly staff only one negative should change menu more often last few months same menu but still very enjoyable.
