Table booked for 1pm. Arrived on time, chose 1 starter and 4 maincourses - which arrived at 2pm. Soup described as thick - it was like water. Roast beef ordered for 2 - mine was scraggy, my wife's almost raw. Really awful! 4 sweets were all from frozen choice - just like a chinese ! Very disappointing and hugely embarrassing. Complained to Maager who said she wold knock off 2 main courses. As I was not paying it was even more difficult. Never again

We're coming from France and that was our second time in this restaurant : we enjoy very much the place and the cooking. This time we came with friends and the loved as much as we do.

The Crown had a very welcoming feel as soon as you walked in. It has nice decor and is very clean. The staff were friendly, efficient and were not 'in your face' asking if everything was ok every 5 minutes. The food was excellent and all at a very reasonable price. It was our first time here having recently moved into the area. We have tried other restaurants in Woodbridge and the surrounding area but none of them came close to The Crown. We will definitely be going back and will recommend it to our friends and family.

Came for my wife's birthday. Excellent meal in a lovely atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The steak tartare was excellent and I was advised by one of our table the rare steak was the best they had eaten for some time. All in all a great night and would happily recommend

Excellent, attentive service. Good response to food allergies and vegetarian diets. Simple, largely locally sourced food cooked really well. Thoroughly recommended.

The restaurant itself was nicely done out. However, the food was expensive for what it was. I crunched on a seashell on my main, my family was disappointed with the lamb as it was almost cold & had to ask a couple of times for the same drinks. We wouldn't go back there again, sadly.

Food is amazing and for the price of lunch is unbelievable. Have been to top notch restaurants in London and find this restaurant to the same standard. The only negative is maybe someone can approach you when you walk in as still not sure the exact thing to do. Otherwise absolutely brilliant and if lived nearer would go more often.
