We chose The Crossing to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The restaurant is a small, intimate space. The service is excellent. There is complimentary valet parking. The Tasting Menu was a good value and everything we ate was delicious. We especially enjoyed the Texas Quail. We will visit again!

Great food served well. It was our second visit and we've been very happy with the fixed price menu both times. The sea bass was excellent.

The beet salad, octopus, morel pasta, tuna and venison were fabulous! Also, the wine flights were perfect compliments to the courses! Will be back soon.

Had the tasting menu and recommended wine pairings - everything tasted fantastic and the pace of the intervals between courses was perfect. Ended up spending 3 hours there but never felt like I was waiting for anything. My business guest had the steak and said it was great too.

The Crossings has excellent food. We find the service excellent. The noise level was unpleasant and included a crying baby. The Crossings is probably one of our favorite St Louis restaurants. Always great food!

The scallops were so delicious and enjoyed a festive cocktail. The atmosphere is cozy and classy. The entree was artfully prepared- fresh and delicious. I hoghly tecommend it for the quality of the entrees.

It was more expensive than I expected and I would have liked more moderately priced options that were in the $20.00 range instead of $30-40.00. The price will definately prevent us from coming more often.

A special occasion kind of place!

Enjoyed the visit. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated promptly. It was quite loud. The food was excellent. We had the tasting menu and the portion size was perfect. Our server was helpful without being intrusive.

We ate from the tasting menu and enjoyed each of our selections. We were surprised at how much food we were given. A delicious cheese soufflé w/ crackers and fresh bread w/butter were served before our four courses and altogether left us quite full and immensely satisfied.
We plan on returning.

This is simply the best restaurant. I love the food, the service, and the personal experience of the chef (Jim) serving some of our courses on the Grand Tasting Menu. The wine was wonderfully paired with each course. It is always a beautiful meal and experience.

First the service; it was outstanding. From the moment we walked in the door, we were well cared for and attended to. Our waitress in particular was outstanding and genuinely kind. The food was very good indeed. I would put them on par with a decent restaurant in the San Francisco bay area, though strangely their prices were even higher than an equivalent bay area eatery. In short, I do recommend it. It's great. Just a bit over priced.

Awesome food. Awesome drinks (thanks to the bartender David). Our server was unbelievable, her name escapes me, but she is a prettier version of Haley from Modern family....she did a great job!

The Crossing is one of our favorite restaurants in St. Louis. The food is always excellent and well presented. We live a 100 miles away, so we can't come as often as we would like, but just HAD to celebrate our 50th anniversary there. Another great experience.

We had 5 people for a post graduation luncheon. First, the manager accommodated our reservation even though it was scheduled at their lunch closing time (that was the soonest we could get there after the law school graduation). He could have declined our reservation but was very kind to extend the reservation for our celebration. The food was outstanding--we had a selection of entrees (tuna, crab cakes, pasta) and everyone had clean plates at the end of the meal. Even the bread was outstanding--which I understand they make in house. Service was great; ambience very nice (white tablecloths at lunch). All in all a great place which made our celebration even better! Highly recommend.

We visited on a Friday evening with reservations. The food was excellent and the evening would have been perfect except for our server. He was obviously trying to rush us through and even made a comment about the table not being ours for the evening. We had a cocktail, salad, entrée and dessert and were only in the restaurant a total of one and a half hours including waiting for the check and waiting for initial service. He was out of line.

Went with the best girlfriends for a special night out. Asked if the chef would create a tasting menu for us and he accommodated us with an 8 course delight. Each of us said it is easily the best meal we have ever had! Our server helped out with the perfect wine pairings. We can't stop talking about how much we enjoyed the experience.

We have chosen The Crossing for several celebrations and we have never been disappointed. Fabulous food, lovely presentation, excellent service, and not an ounce of pretension! We took our kids along this time and while we ordered the Chef’s Tasting, the kids opted for A La Carte — no rolled eyeballs or long sighs whatsoever...The Crossing is a favorite for us.

Our niece was in town for the evening. She is a foodie and had recently been to Paris dined at a Michelin star restaurant. We took her to The Crossing because we knew it was very good. She was quite thrilled with the entire experience. It is always a pleasure to know that you can depend on a restaurant to meet your expectations. It surely did live up to our expectations.

This was a restaurant we hadn’t revisited in a pretty long time, and it did not disappoint! The food was FANTASTIC!! The tasting menu is definitely worth a try, because there are so many great things on the menu, and each one was perfectly prepared!! There were four of us and everyone agreed, they loved everything! Our server was outstanding, which made for a perfect night out with friends! We will be back soon!

Food was excellent, steak with Fois Gras butter was pretty incredible. My wife’s scallops were some of the best tasting she has had.

Our favorite thing was the cheese/dip free appetizer.

Only “gripe” could be the condition of the bathrooms.

We would certainly come here again.
