   We have not ben here for several years despite it being a local pub. The food was exceptionally good and the portions were very generous. Prices are average with the total bill coming to just over £200 for five adults including drinks. Service was a bit slow for the main course but it was Mothers Day and the venue was exceptionally busy (completely full), the owner did come to see us at the end of the visit despite us saying nothing and offered us free coffee's etc. as an apology. In all honestly the portions were so good we almost needed the pause between courses to help it go down! We will happily go back for another meal both with family and friends.

   We had a lovely meal for Mother's Day. It was our first time coming in for food and we really enjoyed it, portion sizes were big , service was excellent and it was a lovely atmosphere.. would definitely recommend

   Had my Mother’s Day breakfast here, really nice food, good service and reasonably priced. Excellent place to go out and enjoy a meal or time work family and friends

   Two people on my table had cod with parmentier potatoes. I was very disappointed with this dish as I had four pieces of potato the size of four peas. The rest of the fish dish was good but it lacked the potato that I was looking forward to eating. Consequently it wasn’t filling enough, ok if you are on a diet.

   Family friendly, Dog friendly. Very accommodating staff. Great for groups and intimate dates. Cozy all year round. Food is great.

    Good food but service was poor, table not clean, had to wait 15 minutes for table to be ready although lots of empty tables, had to ask for table to be cleaned and had to walk to the bar to ask to pay the bill.
