I hadn't been to this restaurant for about 40 years, after moving away from Edmonton. When I came back to visit a friend, I asked her if the Creperie was still there. I was happy to hear it was, so we booked a dinner for 7. 3 of us had been there before. we all loved it. I especially loved the tiny deep fried cheese crepes appie with the dip. It's delicious. this is gem of a restaurant
Interior design was absolutely beautiful, service was incredible, food was brilliant, music was a little too loud, but the food made up for it.
The Creperie truly lived up to its reputation of fine dining.
We had a wonderful evening as a family of 6-lots of room for everyone at our spacious round table. Kids menu was perfect for my 10 year old who opted for the burger. Generous portions of very flavorful food. Love the old feeling in this place-very charming. We would return for sure when in Edmonton.
Such a lovely experience. Very unique, quaint and our server Ryan was exceptional! We will definitely be back! Such a fun ladies night out with mom and sister in laws!!
Everything was great except for the heat of the restaurant. The heat in the restaurant was close to unbearable.
Our experience on Mother’s Day at the Creperie was terrible. We waited an hour and 20 minutes for food and once it arrived, my husbands food was over cooked and burned. They comp’ed his entree, but still charged us for the dessert, which was part of a 3 course package they had. The manager seemed generally unconcerned. I sent the creperie an email and they offered me a $40 gift card, on a $250 bill. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unfortunately.
Food was very tasty, very good service
We went for mother’s day, had no idea they’d have a limited menu, I wasn’t crazy about any of the options but chose the cordon blue omelet. I realllyyyy didn’t like the sauce in it, only really enjoyed the dessert which was a shame as I paid $200 for 4 people! Much more than I anticipated for mother’s dsy.
Great place for a special night out, or just for getting together with friends and family. Service is very good and the food is pretty unique to this restaurant.
Crepe were great as always! Caesar salad fresh but unfortunately quite dry / devoid of dressing.
Haven’t been to the Creperie in many years, it used to be “our place” for romantic dinners. Still lovely ambience and quiet enough to be able to talk. However the food wasn’t acceptable. Our crepes were tough and horribly prepared. Our server was just OK, didn’t introduce herself, never offered fresh pepper (all things we heard other servers do). Very disappointed and sadly will not be returning.
Meal was disappointing, from the Creperie I expected way better. Decor same as 20 years ago. Salads were skimpy, Veggies with crepes were completely hard ... I thought I was getting hollandaise sauce with mine but it only came with a little parm cheese on top (all of them did). Crepe fillings were negligent!
Server was great!
hmmmm, will not return or recommend :(
The food is amazing and very good value. The waitress was extremely attentive (but not in your face). Any time I finished my plate she quietly glided over and took it from the table. It was almost as if she wasn't there but knew exactly when we needed her. The ambiance is lovely.
Service and ambiance were amazing. Food was basic and bland. Disappointed
Great service and tasty food. Very cool experience
I can never say enough great things about the creperie! Just love coming here ;) I highly recommend. Always fantastic tasting food and service.
We had dinner at the restaurant. Our first impression was that it smell like mildew. Very small dinning area. We were sitting next to a group of women who were very loud. The food arrived. The appetizer was ok. The wine tasted strange. The main dish was horrible. The meat was not cook properly and it smelled awful. We left everything in the plate, since nit was uneatable.
We will never come back again. It is quite expensive for the food they serve. We will never come back again!!!!!
My wife and I celebrated her birthday at the Creperie and the food & ambiance were fantastic! We also were very impressed with the extensive gluten free menu! I will definitely be back again.
We have never been disappointed when dining at the Creperie! This time was no exception.
Ambiance and service was great! Food was mediocre - especially for the price!
The food was amazing, and the ambiance was very romantic and private. We both loved it and will come back again. The only thing I wanted to note, our waiter was too rushed. We were there for a romantic date. Bought champagne. Went all out. There were two other tables in the restaurant other than us an our waiter was running around acting like the restaurant was busy. I
understand he wanted to work hard, but if i had one suggestion would be to let him know to just calm down. Take a breather. He did amazing and the tip reflected as such. But for a relaxing date night. He seemed a little too frazzled. Other than that. Amazing restaurant.
I have heard of this place for years and finally went. It's definitely unique but I don't feel like it lived up to the charm that I had heard about. It's private, which is nice but decor is old and dated. The menu was something I'd recommend to people over 50. Old time food.
It was average
Had a great time. Would go again, the food was wonderful and wait staff was very attentive.
Enjoyable evening. Server (Alicia) was very attentive. Appetizers and entree crepes were delish. Excellent gluten-free choices.
Had a great meal the week before so decided to bring my parents down for a meal. Appetizers were great, had French onion soups and mushroom Florentine. For the main course the veal seemed to be in the wrong breadcrumbs and was quite bland. The lamb rack was a little over cooked and the sauce it came with was congealed. The mash had very large lumps of potato. The mussels however were excellent. For the deserts all the types of crepes we tried were good. As for value, a little on the high side for what’s on offer. My father had a side of mushrooms which came to $9, wasn’t too impressed with that. We also skipped the beers as usually we see twice what a liquor store trip would cost, here though domestics are $9 and imports are $11. I don’t think we will be returning based on the overall food experience. The service as before was excellent but couldn’t compensate for some of the food.
When i booked it, I told them it was for my 50th birthday. They did nothing to recognize that, no free meal, not even a free dessert or happy birthday. I also asked the waitress for a picture of our table, which she said she was too busy and never came back to do, so we took it ourselves.
Food was very good, but very expense for what you get.
My husband takes me to The Creperie every year for our post-Valentine’s Day date. It’s always amazing and I LOVE the ambiance.
We booked. Family dinner on family day 2 months in advance! We had tickets to a production and decided to make a full special day of it
Dinner was a Christmas gift!
During the 2 months the restaurant had our reservation. They did not bother to contact us to say they were CLOSED that day we received a voice mail from “Tina” on the day of reservation stating they were closed and didn’t notice our reservation till the night before
If they bothered to contact us the night before at least 24 hours notice would have been given . They did not and on such a special family occasion we went tech free and did not get voice mail till after we went to a closed restaurant .
We were not happy and had no notice to find an alternative restaurant with no reservations.
Our House is shift work and university students having a day together was special for us and a dinner out was a Christmas gift
We visisted on a quite Sunday evening and it was fantastic. Food was great as always and the ambience can’t be beat. I have been enjoying the Creperie for many years and it does not disappoint.
Been going here for thirty years the prices have increased extensively and the portions especially apps are crazy small for the prices
Overall it was decent, but a lack of communication between the kitchen and the servers lead to a disappointing end to our experience.
Amazing customer service, ambiance but the food was not up to French standards.
Veal needed seasoning and rice was cold.
We went on Valentine’s Day and the menu was fixed. The crepes were ok but seemed to be filled mostly with a thick sauce. It wasn’t as busy as we thought it might be but we were seated in an aisle beside the busing station so there was a lot of foot traffic as the staff were cleaning tables. Overall not bad but I will book earlier and find somewhere else for next year.
Service was good but the food was bland. We ordered filet mignon and salmon and they were both nothing special. We didn’t think the ambience screams romantic although there was someone playing the violin on Valentine’s Day. Plus my wife was the only lady that didn’t get a rose at the entrance, they didn’t anticipate the number of people eating that day considering we booked a reservation way in advance.
was a very nice setting, lobster tail was not cooked theu also mixed up our steaks. very nice setting though.
Great meal. Would go again.
We have been to The Creperie many times. we go because of the food, and the atmosphere. Service has always been outstanding.
Four adults went to celebrate a birthday. We each had the 3 course meal with the addition of the deep fried crepes as an appetizer. It was just over $200 for all of us- no alcohol was had. It was a great meal with very good service. I loved the ambiance.
