The Creek Restaurant
Nestled along the Cibolo, steps away from the Main Street bridge, The Creek offers a menu as varied and delectable as you can imagine. Whether you choose to dine alfresco on the beautiful deck or inside this historic landmark building, you will be enchanted by the service, the food and the ambiance.
Food was delicious. Great ambiance. Our table was not the best - kind of crammed in a corner right next to the musician ( who was wonderful - just too close).
Great food great service wonderful birthday celebration loved our waiter and the on beyond get a table by the window it's great
Parts of our meal were wonderful! We had the mussels for an appetizer and immediately wished we would have also ordered them as an entree. Main courses were good as well, but the sides lacked flavor. We sat on the deck and had a lovely view of the river and ducks playing.
It was our first visit to The Creek Restaurant. We were impressed with everything, from the service of our waiter, Carlos, to the excellent quality and exquisite taste of our food, wine and dessert. The wine list was extensive allowing us many fine choices to pair with our meal. We are looking forward to return and try other flavorsome selections.
Trout dish was blah, unimaginative and lackluster.
Amazing salmon and outstanding calamari!!!The service was impeccable!
What a perfect evening for patio dining overlooking the koi pond!
Fish was excellent, as was the peach cobbler.
The flies were pesky, so ask for the big repellent candle.
Charming Restaurant excellent menu selection upscale wait staff
When my wife and I walked into the Creek Restaurant at the time of our reservation and for our anniversary dinner, there was no one who greeted us at the front desk. We did notice a threesome party begin seated by the host before but it took about 3 minutes for her to return to seat us. We were not attended to by anyone else in her absence.
Our waiter was kind but honestly very difficult to understand due to his heavy accent.
We were also bothered by quite a few flies buzzing around us.
My meal was lamb shops and very high quality. The accompanying vegetables were not inviting and basically tasteless. My wife ordered the veal. It was well-prepared but very salty.
The steak and vegetables were delicious, but the salad was not good at all. We sat outside and were the only ones out there which was so beautiful, but then we were forgotten about and our server never came out. We had to go in and ask for help. The manager was very apologetic and brought out some complimentary soup, but it was too hot out for soup and was very basic for such a fine dining restaurant. The ambiance was gorgeous by the river, but then the flies started and got into everything, including the wine, so we asked to be seated inside. The waitress that forgot about us was walking back and forth serving other patrons and walking extremely heavily and basically bounding by each table and snaking gum in her mouth. Not what I expect at a fine dining restaurant for the prices pad.
Lovely place, delicious food, great service - what more could we ask?
Great food and great service
We visited The Creek for a family birthday celebration. The restaurant sits above Cibolo Creek in Boerne. The patio is decorated with flowers and plants, and the large windows overlooking the Creek provide a picturesque view for diners. The service was top-notch. Our waiter, Antonio was pleasant and attentive but not checking in so often as to be a bother (which happens too frequently now days in restaurants). Food was fresh and flavorful. And the noise level in the restaurant was ideal. Our party of five had an easy time conversing. I will return soon if not for dinner but for a drink on the patio.
We come to The Creek often. We know it will be excellent.
The food was great, but it was way too hot in the restaurant. They need to do a better job on climate control.
We had a WONDERFUL dinner here! The food was excellent & the drink I ordered was a suggestion from our waitress & it was everything she said - refreshing & a perfect summer drink! The man playing/singing was such a nice touch for a perfect Friday dinner! My meal was cooked great & veggies could not have tasted better! Waitress was always smiling! Will be back!
Overall, the seafood dish that I had was a little disappointing. The Seafood pasta dish that I had was very "tomatoey" based marinara. The squid was not very fresh (though edible) and the fish was also disappointing (which I didn't even touch).
We choose to sit outside and the server could keep insisting to put the patio umbrella down so that we could not quite see each other. I told one of them that we prefer to have the umbrella in the open position so that we don't have to look sideways at each other!
Food was absolutely delicious!
Atmosphere was very bright and cheery. Loved the experience!
We were dining here for a Bachelorette Party and the service was spectacular for a party of 16! Would recommend highly!
Fabulous! We took some new friends and they loved it too! The shrimp cocktail is one of my favorites!
There was some mixup of reservation time; but not a problem. Wish we had been seated in the inner part of the restaurant. It was cooler and quieter. The room where we were seated was extremely loud, crowded, and uncomfortably warm. Food was delicious; service was prompt and attentive.
Food and atmosphere were both great. Waitstaff were very attentive and quick . I had the scallops and my had the filet. Both were perfect.
Wonderful experience!! Loved the setting in an old home. The food was delicious and the service was great!
We will go back when we are in the area.
I expect a lot when the bill is more than $200. The server, while attentive and nice, was hard to understand. The house salads were eh. My risotto was really eh, fair.
Excellent everything!! It is pretty expensive but worth it for the special occasion!! Enjoy!!
Enjoyed the food, service and ambience. We got there at noon, when the noise level was good. Between 12:30 and 1:15 it was loud, then got better until we left at 2 :00.
Excellent lunch specials, we had the trout. Attentive and prompt service. Great ambiance on the Creek. Quiet restaurant So easy to have conversation.
Our fist visit there...lunch was wonderful. Will becoming back to have dinner soon.
The atmosphere very cozy and beautiful views of the Creek.
The ambiance was nice, we sat outside overlooking the river, it was really pretty. Our salads were delicious, I would definitely come back to try something else when we are passing through again. The only negative is that the hostess at the front that seated us was not very friendly or cooperative. I booked the table online for 2:30 and when we arrived the hostess said they stopped taking reservations at 2:00, even though the 2:30 time slot was available through Open Table. I told her it was 2:15 when I made the reservation through Open Table and asked if she saw it come up on her computer, but she was very snooty and said she didn't know how to use Open Table on the computer. While we were discussing the matter, it came up so she did begrudgingly seat us, even though they were still serving lunch until 3:00. Other than the hostess I would recommend this place.
Seated in front of a loud singer and next to NOISY table. Had to speak very loudly to have a conversation. Food and service were great.
Nice lunch on the patio overlooking the river.
We visited The Creek to celebrate a family birthday. We shared Shrimp Tampico and the Warm Spinach Salad. Both dishes were delicious. The view of Cibolo Creek is gorgeous and the service at this restaurant is top-notch! As a courtesy the guest of honor was served a slice of Key Lime pie. You will never leave disappointed!
We have dined at the Creek many times and each time the friendliness, quality of the food and service is impeccable. Would dine there more often but for the IH 10 construction at in San Antonio. So we decided this time rather than an evening meal to make it a lovely lunch, and it was! Patsy Tatum
Gina was amazing. Her customer service skills were amazing and her knowledge of wine incredible. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone. I would suggest to have the restaurant open till 4pm or 5 pm to give the opportunity to those who go to church to be able to enjoy a great lay lunch or early dinner.
We sat outside for a Sunday lunch overlooking the river; food and wine were great. We had fish and chips, steak and eggs and soft shell crab eggs benedict. We had desserts and loved all the food. Will definitely go back.
Terrific food, great service. Might have been noisy inside, but we were outside on a perfect evening. Only noise was geese and ducks on the creek.
We have dined at the Creek Restaurant many, many times, and always enjoy our experience there! The staff are terrific, as well as the food!!!
Loved our visit to The Creek! Party of 3 - first time for two of us. Service/Food/Atmosphere all wonderful. We will definitely return!!!
Sunday lunch with my honey❤️Great surprise to have live music (guy in a guitar with background music). Very romantic and the food was delicious- husband felt like the fish and chip oil was old but my shrimp Tampico was delish and he loved his shrimp cocktail.
Lovely place on the river.
