   I was a little disappointed in the calamari this time ... it didn't seem as fresh as when I got it over the summer of 2019. I hope this was a one-time thing.

   Brunch buffet is actually $19 per person. Not $15 as advertised here. Food is basic. Nothing special. Every bottomless mimosa I had was inconsistently prepared.

   I had confirmed reservation for a Tuesday evening. On the previous Sunday afternoon, I received a voice mail that the restaurant was closed due to a "technical problem" in the kitchen and would not reopen until the following Thursday and that I should call to reschedule. When I called the restaurant the next day, I got their answering machine with a message that the restaurant was now in their "winter schedule" and therefore only open from Thursday through Sunday. Sounds like there was never a problem in the kitchen. This was the second time in less than 2 years that I have had confirmed reservations only to find out the restaurant was closed. The food here is very good, but with no confidence that it will be open even with confirmed reservations, I will not return, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

   We sat inside at my cousin's request even though it looked like great fun outside on the deck. Food was good. It was fresh and hot. Service could have been a little bit better but it wasn't bad. Our waitress got sidetracked in assigned to the bar for a short time. The Joint was hopping! I'd highly recommend it and I'd go again.

    10 of us ate outside at the picnic tables. Very casual but service was excellent. It was taco night so most enjoyed that special and said they were very tasty and a bargain at $3 each. The crab cake sandwich is always delicious and the margaritas were perfect.
