   There were 5 of us & I was the only one who had been there before so I was so pleased that the dinner was perfect. Service could not have been better...the waitress and those bringing our food were there to please. Every meal was thoroughly enjoyed from the Clam chowder to the salads to our main courses. Passsed on dessert probably because the bread selection was so enjoyed at the beginning of the meal.

   Good food and drink at this casino venue. This would also be a great venue for a piano lounge and in fact for quite a while, there was a beautiful white baby grand piano directly at the entrance in their front lounge. Most sadly though, the last couple of times we were there we noticed that it was gone. What a good idea it would be to bring it back !

   the only issue i have with this restaurant is the bathroom - they do not have separate ladies and men's room. for such an upscale restaurant they should show more class.

   The Cove is attractive and inviting, but the food and service leaves a lot to be desired. This was our 2nd time here since they opened, and now I remember why we hadn't been back. Our server Juan, was nice enough and greeted us quickly. I ordered the French Onion Soup, which should have been hotter and was a bit salty. Was a bit disappointed. Both of us ordered the queen cut Prime Rib and was pleasantly surprised at how big a piece of meat it was, along with a side of sautéed spinach. Now the issues: The Au Jus was barely warm, we weren't given steak knives, and no serving spoon was given with the spinach. Did they think we'd use our dinner forks to scoop out the spinach?? Waited over 5 minutes for Juan (had to flag him down) to get us steak knives and a serving spoon, as well as fresh hot Au Jus (all by request)...which he came back with in ceramic pourers BUT IT WAS THE SAME EXACT TEMPERATURE! It did nothing to help heat up the meat but did help heat up our tempers. The prime rib was not as tender as we've had at other establishments. Disappointing for a "steak house". The spinach was overly salted (read similar in another review) and couldn't be finished. You'd think they'd lay off the salt after getting previous reviews for salty sautéed spinach. If it wasn't for us flagging Juan down I don't know if he would have ever come back to check on us. It appeared all the servers were very busy, but we shouldn't suffer for that. Overall we were very disappointed in the service and the food, and most likely will not be back (lest a comp meal). Being the only high-end restaurant at Harrah's Philadelphia we expected better.

    Had a great night and dinner at the COVE. Our service Alyssa? was fabulous. Celebrated our anniversary with great food and service Great night out.
